I knew Clarks were good shoes but these top the list. I wanted something for walking while in Alaska. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are relatively lightweight, and repel rain showers quite well. For me, the sizing was right on. So happy I purchased these. Zappos was fast and had the best selection for this shoe.

My best dog agility shoes! After falling in competition twice and seriously damaging a knee wearing a stylish and quality running shoe, I thought I would give these a try. Both on rubber mat surface and indoor astro turf -- perfect traction without being too grippy. I have even worn them outdoors on grass and indoors on dirt. Something about the way these shoes are put together, I am getting better break-over and no tripping issues at all. They are very comfortable and supportive. I have seen others wearing these for dog agility. Just wish there was a flashy pink model!

I purchased these shoes for a trip where the majority of my time was spent walking on city streets. I figured they would be a good back-up pair to my regular walking sneakers. It didn't take long for me to discover that the Clarks provided such superior comfort and support for my feet that I stopped wearing my other pair entirely. I love the way this shoe seems to facilitate a more gliding stride when walking. Note: Though, normally order a medium width, I took the advice of other reviewers and got the wide, which fit my slightly wider than average foot perfectly.

Liked the look for a walking/trekking shoe when I first opened the box. A little stiff compared to some shoes but were perfectly comfortable during our two week vacation walking on streets, in the woods, and in the rain (yes, they're waterproof). Highly recommend.

I walked all over Italy in these shoes 48 hours after they arrived at my house. They were the very best investment addition to my travel wardrobe. They were sturdy enough protect my feet from the cobblestone streets, yet had enough flexibility to be super comfortable rambling through ruins, navigating hilly narrow city streets, climbing stairs, and managing the rocks to get to the coastline. I really wanted to avoid "tourist sneakers" but comfort was my priority. These satisfied both criteria. I chose blue because the black reminded me of workshoes: I already own a pair of red tie shoes; and the green that I wanted were not a choice. I recommend them with no hesitation.

I just spent 2 months wearing this shoe 80% of the time. I ordered these shoes, along with several other styles and brands, hoping to find a comfortable shoe for a trip we were taking to New Zealand and Australia. This Clark shoe fit perfect immediately - the others that I ordered were returned, I knew I had my shoe. What did I appreciate about this shoe? As others have mentioned, the toe box was generous, the balance and support made the shoe very stable, even on uneven terrain, wet surface and rocks. The shoe is light but well cushioned and feels as good today as it did 2 months ago. Plus, even though it was rainy a lot of the time in New Zealand, but this shoe never allowed my feet to get wet. It was the perfect shoe for my trip, I would describe it as a walking shoe that likes to hike. I am a 9 medium, narrow heel - this 9M was a dream fit.

Great shoes, exactly as advertised. They are very comfortable, cute, and definitely waterproof. They are also quite lightweight.

I love these shoes. They arrived today and on trying them on, they fit perfectly, are comfortable right out of the box. I always buy medium width but most times medium is just slightly loose. The medium in this shoe is narrower than usual, but is perfect for me. I want another pair!

Very comfortable for walking and standing. I can be on my feet all day in these shoes! I liked them so much, I bought a second pair.

I adore these shoes. I am in my sixties and I needed a shoe was that wide and that would accommodate an orthotic. This shoe looks good with jeans and black pants and it does not have obnoxious colors-only a tweak of bright chartreuse to keep it jazzed enough - otherwise they would be look boring. Wore them out of the box, all day. I often have problems with shoes - but these shoes are fun to wear-they give you a bounce in your step-sort of like MBT's use to do for me. I am thinking of buying a second pair as a backup when these wear out.

For a Clark's shoe that fits this well, it also looks so much less clunky than others. While it's hardly the latest in fashion, it's a shoe I can wear all day and lots of places without feeling like I'm in a pair of jumbo orthopedic shoes. I bought a black pair and a grey pair. I'm living in them! As others have said, it runs narrow, which is odd for a Clarks. I usually wear medium width and had to exchange the first pair for a wide. I am so happy to have these shoes.

Very comfortable. I have an energetic dog and have to do a ton of walking every day so I've been looking for great walking shoes. I've been mostly wearing these with thick socks for the winter, and as it gets warmer now I see that the back slips a tiny bit when using a thinner sock, but I still like them and they're still comfy. Not too dorky looking, unlike some other walking shoes I've had. The blue is pretty. I've worn them in the rain and walked through puddles and so far they really do seem to be waterproof. Overall, excellent, I would consider getting a second pair in another color.

I was looking for a comfortable walking shoes for my problem feet. These are the BEST! Comfortabke from the moment I put them on. The wide width gives me ample room, too. Will order more!

Wow. These could possibly be the best shoes I've ever owned. It's so hard to find a truly NARROW shoe. I've tried many brands and styles but my extremely narrow foot is still usually too narrow for most. These are perfect. They're comfortable, stylish, waterproof and I reach for them almost daily. I don't want to wear any other shoes and could walk for hours without any issues. Love them!

I was looking for a good walking shoe that was both comfortable and stylish and I found it in this shoe. I originally ordered the 8M but it was a bit too narrow so sent it back and re-ordered it in the wide width and the shoe fit perfectly. I have worn the shoe numerous times and my feet never hurt. I also have gotten many compliments on the modern look of the shoe. I own at least 30 pairs of Clark shoes and this is a welcome addition to my collection!

This is a great shoe for me. Sporty and comfortable with jeans or casual pants. This is my second pair. I can wear my orthotic without removing the innersole. I wore these on vacation in Nashville last September. They are wonderful to walk in. I have flat feet and osteoarthritis in my hips and knees. I do very well walking in these shoes. I love the variety of colors too.

Front Runner! This shoe lives up to the expectations for comfort, style, and durability that Clarks has established. The fit is true to size and comfortable from the first lace-up. I hit the ground running, without being encumbered by a need to break in the shoes. They are true to the Clarks name and reputation!

I tried a 9.5 med....too narrow. Next ordered 9.5 Wide...too wide and too long. Finally success with 9 wide! It's comfortable, good support, and a very stylish shoe that fits my feet well.

Runs a little narrow which is good for me. All day support - on my feet for hours at a time with little foot fatigue.

I was looking for a waterproof shoe for walking on wet/slushy streets on the way to work. I have no luck with typical rainboots with my extra wide foot and need to accommodate for bunions. These shoes have plenty of width in the toe box, even in a wide (no extra wide available), and they have great arch support so I don't need my orthotics. I've rarely been able to wear shoes with no break in period, but with these, I wore them brand new for a 2 week trip to Europe and I never had any break in time, they were comfortable (and dry) from the start!
