This is a very firm shoe.I had to exchange for wide but with socks it is fine. I will say if you are expecting true red you will be disappointed. It has more of a red-orange cast to it. The shoe is comfortable and stable for walking.

I love the shoes. They provide great support and are a great fit. (I have narrow feet) I ordered regular width instead of narrow because other reviewers said they ran narrow. Perfect. Got red--it's sort of muted. I like it. Zappos delivers so quickly, too.

I like these shoes very much. I usually order an 11W in sneakers, however, in theses a 10W was perfect. The others great thing is that I did not have to buy a different insert as I would for my sneakers. The insert for these shoes is great, and very comforting.

I have very narrow feet size 8 in length. These shoes are perfect with thick socks and the length is great. If you wear an 8 order an 8. I ordered an 8 and 8½, the 8 fit very well but 8½ is too long.

Because they just arrived today, I can offer only first impressions. Fit: Ordered my usual 8.5N and they fit as expected. While many reviewers have said they seem to run narrow, they seem just right when worn with a medium-density sock. They are slightly on the long side, which is fine with me and my finicky toes, but if you are often between sizes, you might consider choosing the smaller size. I'm getting a little slippage on the heel, but if you have super-narrow heels, you know that's to be expected. Appearance: I ordered the gray, hoping for a shoe that would be a relatively unnoticeable travel shoe, to wear with jeans and casual black pants. The dark gray leans every-so-slightly toward taupe and it's the neutral color I wanted. While there is plenty of padding and support, the shoe looks trim; it's definitely the most flattering, un-clunky athletic-type shoe I've tried. I'll do lots of rainy-weather dog walks to break them in before next year's Alaska cruise.

These shoes live up to their claim and more. No break in necessary and they fit exactly as I hoped. VERY pleased!

These shoes are very comfortable. I order my true size, expecting them to be roomy enough for thick socks and they fit perfectly. I only gave them 4 stars for style, but I thought they looked better than the online picture.

I have been getting an 8½ in everything lately. Although I wear an 8 in Clark clogs and in my Saucony, I tried the 8½W. That was way too big although the footbed and shoe was great! So I ordered an 8 regular and a 7½W. The 8 regular is too tight. The 7½W felt right. I am going to wear it around the house a few times as the heel seems to slip. I am comparing it to New Balance Cobb Hill. The Clark has a higher heel which I like. But also very costly. The arch support is not all I would like.

I needed a walking shoe for a trip to France, and this one was very favorably reviewed elsewhere. However, it was said to run narrow / small, and Zappos allowed me to order the wide size. I replaced the liner with one with more arch support and had NO PROBLEMS with the shoe! It was barely broken in before I went! The only issue has been the tongue, which is stiff and stiff taking a long time to soften. I highly recommend this shoe - looks and feels great. Does run SMALL so order a larger size and width than you usually do. Then enjoy - you won't regret it!

They are light and fit well but pushed on my first metatarsal for some reason and it was very painful. Probably not the fault of the shoe.I wish I could wear them.

These are fab! Comfortable right out of the box. My feet are wide across the toes and also flat, so good-fitting shoes are hard to find. The width is perfect and my feet and legs don't get tired when I wear them.

These are very attractive and comfortable shoes. I ordered a size up since I found the toe bed a bit narrow. I have a narrow foot but where medium for comfort. I like the color. I found Clark shoes 20 years ago while traveling in the UK. I have been buying them ever since. These shoes will take me many place comfortably.

I only buy Clarks...great arch and heel support and quality materials make them a superior value, plus they look great. Why buy junk when your feet need such care.

I love these shoes. I got them as I was transitioning to real footwear after I broke a bone in my foot. They were perfect, with a comfortable high arch (wave) and great support upon lacing them. They are also quite cute on.

I've worn my Clarksville for 1-1/2 years and they are still extremely comfortable. They're great for traveling when you're walking a lot. I'd recommend them if you want a comfortable pair of shoes that don't wear out.

Love the way this shoe feels! I have a very wide foot, requiring WW in some dress shoes. The wide in this shoe fits well. I also have plantar fasciitis and walking in these shoes all day is a dream. I ordered both the navy and the red, wanting something that didn't look so much like a tennis shoe or a hiking shoe but still giving the support I need for plantar fasciitis. Love the navy, however, buyer beware, the red is so NOT red. If the shoe looks a little orange-y on your screen, trust it, then nudge the color a little more toward orange/terra cotta. As I had hoped for red not orange, I had to send the red back.

Really satisfied and happy with this purchase They fit perfect and feel so good on my feet. Everyone should own a pair of these shoes they make walking a pleasure.

I ordered these in 9 1/2 wide and they fit perfect. I have neuropathy in my feet and these shoes feel as good as possible for me. Clarks fits my foot great and the support is very good.

I really like these shoes. They are comfortable and supportive. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly, with no break-in period needed. I like them so much I plan to order 2 more pair in different colors. Clarks will be a prime brand for me in future.

I have these in 3 colors. They are a little stiff at first. But after a couple of hours they are totally comfortable. Very durable. Oh. And I have ordered shoes from competitors, Zappos always comes packaged like it has been straight from the factory. Unused, brand new, perfect. I love that about Zappos!

I walk an average of 3+ miles a day and like to change shoes every day. Even though the wave trek is listed as a women's shoe I bought a pair last year because it had received the most favorable reviews for men/women's walking shoes in this style. They turned out to be very comfortable and I bought another pair in July to replace a pair of men's NB that had worn out. These are also very comfortable.

These are comfortable right out of the box. And they are cute even with a short skirt, which is what I am planning to wear them with to trek around Italy. I have narrow, problem feet. These mediums are perfect for me; I do not know who would need the narrow size. I am excited to be able to pack just these and a pair of sandals (Birkenstock Gizas) for my trip. When you see a product with this many five star ratings, it just makes sense to check it out! I am glad that I did.

I love these shoes. I've got Achilles tendinitis and wow! I got these shoes outside of an orthopedic shoe store. I'm looking for more styles of wave.trek now!

I love these shoes. Very comfy. They go a long time. This is my second pair. The first pair is still going strong. I only bought these because I needed the shoe in black for work purposes. And I knew they would be a good work shoe for standing during long periods. Thank you, Clarks. My favorite shoe brand.
