I have had a stroke and muscle memory in my hands makes it hard to tie knots. Velcro makes it easy to put shoes on.

I got these for my husband, who is on his feet a lot in his woodworking shop. He says that they are very comfortable, and he is very pleased with them. I got them in black, and he likes the fact that he doesn't have to "tie" them. That means quick and easy on and off!

always order these-when one pair FINALLY gets close to quitting, I order another pair. They last and last. I walk A LOT! LOVE them.They wear well, clean easily, fit well and are adjustable. My feet are so happy in them.

I switched from New Balance 607 cross trainers to the New Balance 577 since I stopped walk/jogging to simply walking and I am thrilled with the 577's. I ordered 2 pairs of the 577's in the same size that I wore in the 607's. The fit is perfect and I am thoroughly pleased and happy with my new 577's.

I bought Hook-and-loop style New Balance walking shoes since I may have surgery soon and could have problems tying my shoes. New Balance has SL-2 last for wide forefoot, narrow heel and large toe box and this model has them.

I bought these shoes even after reading some of the negative comments. So glad I did. They fit great. The first time I wore them the velcro would not go completely across. But after wearing that first time the velcro does go across completely now. Plus the tongue was stiff but after wearing a few times, it is okay also. So glad I gave these shoes a try. And by the way, these are mens shoes but I am a woman who has wide feet and a woman wide slips on my heel but a mens M (D width) fit me perfectly.

This is the second pair of this style of New Balance shoes my husband has purchased. He says that he has NEVER had a pair of shoes that he has worn that are as comfortable as these are!! He is a maintenance/custodial worker for our school system and the shoes endures countless hours of walking and exposures to cleaning supplies. He hopes that these shoes are never discontinued. The time from our order to receipt of the shoes were so fast! Within a few days. We highly recommend these shoes to anyone considering them.
