Don't know what to do with the shoe. I wish I knew what took the place of the walking shoe 656. Was hoping the mens 577 was comparable and comfortable like the 656 walking shoe, but unfortunately, it is not.

the straps are too short and they squeak i have owned six pair that was ok these are not as good as past shoes

Great shoes for walking but I hate laces. I love the shoes with velcro hook and loop fasteners.

The shoes were returned due to poor fit (undersized) and poor quality. Closure straps were too short to close the shoes even if they fit.

they were to tight just below the the bottom strap not smooth there!

I am sorry but did not like the look of them. So I sent them back

Need to return for credit. Problem with velcro strap. Too short making shoe uncomfortable.

I have a hard time tying shoes so thought the velcro straps would be good. I bought extra wide but the straps were not long enough to close over my foot. Very disappointing.

The top closure on the shoes that I received were mounted too high up on the shoe thus making the strap to short to close properly. Barely an eighth of an inch becomes fully engaged. Should that strap come undone while jogging it could result in injuries to the ankle, knee, or in the event of a fall, much worse. I see from other reviews of these shoes that others have had this same problems. I am rather surprised that a recall has not been issued.

Runs small. If you wear a 9.5 get a 10. NOT made, but ASSEMBLED in USA. I thought they were made in Maine.

I ordered the exact part number and size of my current pair of shoes that I bought at Academy last year and these are sized too wide. New Balance is the only walking shoe that I buy, this is the first time I ordered online but it won't happen again!

Disappointed in NB for having such a cheap product. I've been a loyal customer for over 40 years, but am now questioning the direction of your company and the value of NB shoes. I returned the shoes after two days and bought another brand.

I bought another pair of 577s so I could retire my old pair. But the toe box on the new pair is much narrower than on the old pair. You can just look at them and see it. I returned them, likely ending a 20-run of wearing New Balance walking shoes.

The shoes seemed very heavy and clumsy. Hard to get in and out of my car.

The loops are too short. They only go about half way.

I sent shoes back due to shoes running too small.... my feet have been the same size forever.... and when I order these I didn't know they ran so small.... sent back wouldn't do these again

You have changed the sizing is no longer comfortable. I will have to try a different brand.

I have multiple New Balance shoes but for some reason this one runs small with the same size I have always used. I had bought 2 of them because of a great price I found, but unfortunately both are going back because they're too tight in the starting from behind the toes to the tip of the toes. Off to search for the next pair of sneakers.

I returned the shoes to New Balance. Shoes in another color had fit perfectly.

Inside seam under the laces is ridged and cuts into the top of my foot, so the right shoe is unwearable.
