EE width shoes from New Balance have always fit perfectly, but these were too narrow and were returned.

Comfortable sneak. One off the few with velcro strap closure, which I prefer to avoid the bending necessary to tie lace up sneaks.

The description of this shoe on the website states that it is Made in the USA which is what my husband was looking for. However, the shoe clearly is labeled Made in Vietnam. He was extremely disappointment since we try to buy USA made products as much as we can. We will be returning these shoes.

I always buy 7 2W shoes from New Balance. Over the years, they have always served me well. but this pair of 577 v1 hook and loop was so tight that I had pain every time I wore it around the house (did that so I could it back if it did not fit). Finally, I measured it against some of the other pairs I have, it it was more than a half inch shorter. I sent it back. 7 2W NB shoes with a white sole (so it won't scratch hardwood floors in our house) are rare, so I may try to go to a NB stare where I can try on another pair to see if this is a one off issue. Another more minor complaint. The VELCRO is quite short, so if you want to wear the shoe loose, of want to adjust for a high foot, you can't do it. That is a really bad way to cut production costs.

I have had several pairs of these that were pretty good and true to size. This pair was not and not the same over all. They were visibly smaller than my older pair I was replacing. Very uncomfortable and I ended up throwing out after walking with them a week or so. I tried a different brand and was so happy I did.

The velcro on the straps to secure the shoe was off-center. This prevented the shoe from being properly secure. The New Balance 577 Walking Shoe was returned thru UPS for a refund.

I was looking for a walking shoe at least partially manufactured in the USA. The description for the 577v1 said it was assembled in the USA but the shoes I received were labelled 'Made in Vietnam'. I returned them. I'm still a customer of New Balance but now that more people are trying, like New Balance is, to help employ Americans, it is important not to mislead.

I did a review on this pair of New Balance mens 577 shoes but I didn't upload my picture. The top front of the left shoe is cracking and they aren't that old. Also, the heel fells too high and they don't feel at all like they used to feel when I purchased the same shoe.

This pair of 577 walking shoes is not as well put together as the previous pairs that I have purchased. The heel still feels too high after wearing them several times and the top front of the left shoe looks like it is cracking already. I am very disappointed with this pair of shoes. For the price that I paid I feel cheated. I will not buy these New Balance shoes again.

Perfect for the feet width, but too narrow for the toes. These need to be expanded on the toes end for maximum comfort. Otherwise, excessive cramping on the toes.

I walk an average of 5 to ten miles a day. I thought they would be comfortable. I was wrong. If I could return them I would.

Wore the same size of New Balance for years (11 1/2 wide). These are so short and narrow---couldnt even get them on. Exchanging for a 12 extra wide (a size that would normally be way too big) and hoping they will fit because I need the hook and loop closure.

I use these shoes to walk in! Don't like...The fit was tight, not enough padding or cushioning. Like...Wide width 4E and made in USA

Width was excellent but your velcro straps were to short. So I have to return them. You made the shoes wider for swollen feet but you neglected to add on to the velcro. One more inch of strap and you would have had a sale.

Very wide for a supposed B or narrow. Cheap material, not leather, on a large part of the upper. For the value, these should cost $25.

0 stars. Advertised as "These shoes were proudly assembled at New Balance U.S. factories by more than 1,200 U.S. workers. Since the domestic value is less than 70%, New Balance labeled them "Assembled in the USA."" Shoes received were labeled as "Made in Vietnam." They are being returned to Zappos.

The product description says: "These shoes were proudly assembled in our U.S. factories by our more than 1,200 U.S. workers. Since the domestic value is less than 70%, we have labeled them "Assembled in the USA."" The tongue label says "Made in Vietnam". I have only worn New Balance sneakers that were made or assembled in the U.S. for the past 35 years. The #1 reason I bought these (as I have bought 577 for years) is for this reason. They were put back in the box and will be returned immediately.

I am very disappointed in my purchase because the left shoe is causing an abrasion on top of one of my toes and is scraping the skin right off. I wore them seven days and it's not getting any better. I don't know what's causing this. There are selvage edges from seams in that spot and that might be it. It's more than breaking in new shoes. The right shoe is normal. I don't think I will be able to wear these shoes anymore because my toe gets scraped more every time I wear them. These shoes are New Balance MW577.

I had been checking the site regularly for the laces version. It appears they no longer carry them so I tried these. Very disappointed as the velcro strap did not have enough length. They were returned. I would like to know if they ever plan to carry the 577 with laces again. They (or whatever model number they had been before) had been a staple for years.

You responded to my review as if I said " too wide". It was too narrow. The straps were much too short!
