I bought these shoes for me to work in. I stand for 10 hrs a day. They work well and are comfortable although I did need to put extra padding in for more comfort. I like the flat soles so they won't get caught on anything and make me trip.

Bought for my daughter because they are not available in women's sizes. One size smaller than for men was perfect and she wears them every day for work. She is on her feet all day and she says they are perfect.

Nice shoe but instep smaller than expected. It was hurting my toe so I had them stretched. I do find tenderness on the outside edges of feet so I suspect these shoes need more arch support.

I've loved the New Balance hook-and-loop closure walkers for years and it's the only shoe I can order online to be sure of how it fits. I've used the Ladies size before, but started ordering the Men's once the Ladies were no longer available. The fast closure is so handy for playing tennis and just in general. The laces I used earlier just took too long to adjust perfectly. The high toe box was one of my main concerns and is great with this shoe. LLBean's delivery was fast, too!

I have always been very pleased with New Balance products. These shoes were comfortable the moment I put them on and feel wonderful while I walk. I have three pair of NB walking shoes that I rotate.
My wife and I walk a couple of miles several days a week for the exercise.
My wide foot is difficult to fit and other shoe makers usually recommend larger sizes but NB fits correctly out of the box. Perhaps because they are made in America by Americans.

Having tried other similar footwear, non measured up to the quality and comfort of these shoes. Definitely should order more in case they are discontinued at some point in time. For those of us that have difficulty with lacing up shoes, these are perfect.

I purchased the men,s new balance 577 walking shoses, hook & loop closure style. I have been useing these shose for appox. two months to walk around the walking trails and travel.I like the hook & loop because of it easey to secure the shose without having to tie shoe strings.

I bought these for my elderly father who has balance problems that I suspect is exasperated by poorly fitting shoes. He has lost a lot of weight so his feet are now narrow, yet he insists on buying himself cheap, too-wide shoes. These come in a narrow width and he claims they fit well and he feels more stable...let's hope so.

I was scheduled for a total knee replacement. I'm a big fan of New Balance. I am on my feet all day long and these shoes fit the bill. They were comfortable the first time I put them on, except they were a little tight in the width. After a week of breaking them in they stretched out a bit and they were more comfortable. They give good support. I also liked that they were manufactured in the US. I would recommend them to anyone who likes a good quality walking shoe for work or play made in the USA.

A very comfortable and well-made shoe. I walk 2-3 miles a day, ride my bike 12.5 miles three times a week and try to workout at the gym three days a week. Until I bought this shoe, I always wore Asics running shoes when working out. Since I no longer run, I was looking for something different to wear when I exercise and this shoe has been excellent for my needs.
