I bought these shoes for my husband about 5 years ago. Due to nearly constant use in all seasons, they finally wore out, so I am replacing them with the same New Balance shoe from LL Bean. These shoes are EXCELLENT, especially for a person who has trouble leaning down to tie laces or keeping them tied. They are easy to fasten and work very well for walking, which my husband loves to do. They hold up in all weathers, even when wet .Best of all, they look attractive,even stylish, in black. I appreciate being able to find these shoes at LLBean and not having to search the stores for them. Highly recommended walking shoes!

I bought a pair of these out of frustration at the limited selection of women's walking shoes in wide widths. They are the most comfortable everyday shoes I have worn in years (perhaps ever!). The fit is great (I ordered a men's 7 for my size 8 feet), and the Velcro straps are especially convenient at airports.

my husband has edema in his feet and these are wonderful so I ordered a second pair for slippers at night since there are no slippers that stay on his feet. Bopsie

For an old guy, I needed a walking shoe that would be comfortable and "sure footed." This shoe did more than that for me. I was a bit skeptical about "hook and loop," but now, much prefer these to laces. Also, the non-skid soles are relatively smooth and don't track in all the mud and stones from the trail. Ordering wide width gave me extra comfort and allowed for heavier socks. All day comfort makes this old guy very happy.

These are wonderful shoes, very comfortable and fit well. It is wonderful to be able to use the velcro to open & close the shoe. Much faster than dealing with laces. New Balance makes wonderful shoes and LL Bean is a great place to purchase them.

I have been a New balance shoe fan for many years and this purchase did not disappoint. I was looking for a pair of walking shoes with hook and loop closure instead of laces. These shoes are easy to put on and take off and are very, very, very comfortable. The size is accurate too. I wear size 12, ordered a size 12, and the fit is perfect.

My husband has Parkinsons, he is, at age 67 very mobile but likes the ease of putting this shoe on. He also likes the way the sole is, he doesn't track so much dirt in the house! It wears well. This is his 3rd pair since he wears them all the time.

These were a gift for my brother. He called when they arrived to say how good they felt. He's not known for complimenting anything so I know they must be really great. I ordered online while talking with him on the phone about what he needed. We followed LL Bean's fit recommendation and ordered a half size larger than usual. A few days after wearing them, my brother repeated the compliment. These must be good!

I have been buying these walkers since retiring and am on my 5 pair.

Bought for my daughter because they are not available in women's sizes. One size smaller than for men was perfect and she wears them every day for work. She is on her feet all day and she says they are perfect.
