I'm on the fence with these. They're super cute; have the same great support as the Pro clogs; and (most importantly), have the same heel height as the Pro clogs (read: no pain after hours of wearing). However, what part of the foot gets cold first? The toes. And what part of this boot is lacking the "shearling"? The toes. Sure, your ankles will stay nice and toasty in these boots but your piggies won't be getting any more protection from the cold in these as they do in the Pro clogs. Oh, and after trying these on just once (gently, I might add), a big chunk of the fake shearling came off in my hand. I don't know if these are worth the price tag.

I love these boots and find myself wearing them almost every day. They are beyond comfortable...and warm. I have very wide feet and thick ankles/calves, yet I can wear these comfortably. I'd give 10 stars for comfort if I could. They're cute too!

I bought these in Nov 2012 in Brown. Most comfortable boots I own. Contrary to what you'd think the sherling IS in the perfect place, otherwise the interior of the shoe would get too warm. Ive worn these on 20 degree days and my feet felt perfectly comfortable. I'd consider a second pair in another color.

I love these boots! They are so warm and comfortable, I never want to take them off when I get home. I normally wear size 8-8.5, so was a little unsure whether to order 7.5/8 or 8.5/9. I ordered the larger of the two with the thought of wearing thick socks, but the 7.5/8 probably would have fit a little better. Not a deal breaker -- still love them.

I love these boots! I have over the last few years tried the other Dansko styles and finally I found the perfect fit! There is really no break in time and I find them very warm! I live in upstate NY and the snow came today and I wore them (without socks) and my toes and ankles were nice and warm. I do think wearing them without socks actually lets moisture wick away and thus keep your feet warm...and usually my toes are cold in other boots. I am not sure I would find these "safe" for walking on black ice, but little is...I walked my dog in these today and was very happy!

Fantastic boot: warm even below freezing, good height, very very comfortable, good air circulation, great style for cold weather if you like a woodsy look. Only drawback is they are not at all waterproof.

I pulled these out of the box and thought "ugh! that heel, how ugly, I can't wear those," but I put them on anyway and I'm keeping them. I am picky about shoes and these feel super-comfy, they don't rub anywhere and they look rather fetching with skinny pants. There are two items of concern; the toe box lacks insulation and the soles lack grip. For winter shoes I am a little worried that I may bite it on the ice one day...probably a great winter shoe in a place you're not actually trudging through a lot of snow but still want to keep your feet warm.

I love these boots. LOVE them! They are SO comfortable. I live in an area where I walk a lot. These are heaven sent. I have others more fashionable- but I choose these over them every time. Don't get me wrong- these are not ugly, but might not be for the true fashionista. I'm a Dansko fan in general, and I find them sorta cute. I don't typically roll them down, but you can for a completely different look. They are warm without being hot as well. I got them in my regular Dansko size (which is my normal shoe size), and they fit perfect. I like them so much, if they had my size in brown, I'd get those too.

I bought the Harper in black...and I love them. They are comfortable, warm and look great. I get tons of compliments and they ask...where did you get those boots?

Bought these in both the brown and the black. Love how comfortable they are. I have very high arches and I can walk forever in these, which is rare for me. Love these boots.

I love these boots. I ordered a 36, which is what I wear in the Vegan Pro. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on. I usually wear a thin sock, a heavy sock makes them too tight. My feet stay warm and toasty. Great boots!

Love these boots. Comfortable from the first time I wore them. They look good with jeans, dress pants and leggings. Sizing is good.

Dankso, keep 'em coming! The Harper boot is fantastic. It's super cute, warm and most importantly, supportive. I'm one of those women who basically lives in Danskos. I've been wearing them for years. I've been at a loss for a supportive winter boot that I can wear in the snow. This boot is perfect. My toes stay warm and my ankles are toasty. The shoe profile is slim, which is very chic for Dansko. Love the brown distressed leather. The softer sole rocks for super comfort. I've tested these boots in upstate New York 4 degree temperatures, as well as trotting around NYC, walking across Central Park and two whole days at the MET! Dansko has really hit on something with the Harper boot. If they haven't already, Dansko should design a shearling 'duck' style boot. I would be in heaven!

I love the Harper Dansko boots. They are so comfortable, and the memory foam insole is just what I need. As a matter of fact, I have had a heel spur and these are the only shoes I can wear right now. I am about to get another Dansko model to try from Zappos, so I will at least have two pairs that I can wear. I am so happy not to have to hurt my foot walking around to shop for shoes. Thanks, Zappos, for your free shipping both ways -- it's like having a shoe store in my living room.

These boots are so comfortable. I was able to wear them for long periods of time right out of the box. And they make me look so tall!

This truly is the dansko clog in a short boot. Pretty cool. I like the the brown sort of "distressed" look and they are well made, comfortable. They got me around Manhattan for 10 days in the cold and even snow. Now back in LA, wearing with jeans for everyday. stylish enough not to be too clunky, but they do have a little of that dansko chunky look. I got one size up and it worked out.

These are so cute! Also they bring the famous Dansko comfort, same fit, same arch support, same fabulousness. I had to order the other color too! If you love Danskos, you won't be sorry!

If you have any problem with these take back to store they are or should be good about returns, generally though have found no problem with my Dansko shoes and now my first pair of boots warm, cozy and can wear them for hours!!

These are fantastic boots. I bought 1/2 size larger so i could wear thick socks and it was a great choice. I've walked for hours in these boots and they feel great. They look cute with leggings or skinny jeans and cool under boot cut pants too.

Love these boots! I bought them in both the brown and black. I have been looking for comfortable boots that look good and are practical for work. I can wear these all day and continue to wear them through the night. Boots are a little tight fitting at first, but by the end of the day, they were perfect.

These are super comfortable (like all my Dansko shoes). The sole is your typical Dansko sole, and top part of the shoe is fleece lined, making it super comfortable. The fleece lining is a little bulky, making the shoe look a little clunky though. Overall, this is an awesome boot!

I bought these boots for a trip up north in the winter. They were so comfortable, I could wear them outside for hours without breaking in and the lining helped to keep my feet nice and warm. Others have reviewed that the lack of fleece in the footbed was a problem, but I do not agree, my feet were very warm, not hot. So no sweating occurred. Highly recommend them.

Love the boots, warm and so cozy. True to Dansko quality. Easy to get them on and off. They keep my feet warm even without the footbed lined with fleece. They did not offer size 35 so I got the 36 and just wear thick socks.
