Love these boots. Yes, looks great but also have that great Dansko support. With the inside faux fur this boot will provide warmth as well as support this winter. I wear size 38 & have medium width foot, this fits perfect.

I ordered a size 40, which is the size I wear in Dansko clogs, but this boot was too small. It is too uncomfortable to wear, so I'm returning it. Too bad its cut smaller than the other size 40 Dansko shoes.

My ankles have arthritis, which is why I wear Dansko exclusively. So when I saw these boots, I thought they would be perfect for the NH winter and my foot problems. I can hardly make it half way around the mall before I am limping in pain. I attribute it to lack of support which the standard Dansko shoe is designed with. The look is adorable. Nice and warm. I just wish I could wear them without the pain.

Great winter boots! I've been looking for black boots that are practical & warm but stylish, and I've found them. The only complaint would be you can't tuck pants in, and they don't look fabulous with a skirt.

These boots are sized funny. They felt an entire size smaller than normal. Last year I ordered a pair of clogs - one size up based on reviews, but the clogs felt too big. This year I ordered my regular size in these boots and the boots are way too small in all levels, length and width! It seems Dansko sizes differently based on the footbed. Stapled clogs feel like the old size but the newer footbed on these needed to be ordered a size larger. The sherling is of questionable quality, but they do seem warmer than the normal clogs. I like the styling of the boots - a little less clunky but still made for walking. They are not super dressy, but not so casual either. Based on sizing they must go back.

I really wanted to like them, but they have a very clunky, Ugg feeling to them. Unlike another reviewer, I actually like that the furriness doesn't extend to the toe box, because then there's room for socks. But...because of the clunk, because of the weird shiny sides of the sole, because I wanted something just a little more refined (?) and they are going back. :-(

This boot is comfort itself. Super lightweight and it is a boot you can wear all day. I purchased a brown and a black pair but sent the brown ones back. Dansko needs to improve on the color and texture of the brown boots. They look too battered and old even though they were new. The toes are a bit round and I would love Dansko to improve on re-styling them to be a bit more pointed toes. But, comfort is the star of these boots. They are like wearing slippers...

I was afraid I was going to have give up on my beloved Dansko. Since the manufacturing has been moved to China, it seems that the much-vaunted "roomy toe box" is a thing of the past. I bought a different pair of Dansko ankle boots earlier this year and they were fairly horrible--the sole felt "dead"--no rocking motion at all--and they burned the bottom of my foot like crazy after just a mile. So I was concerned. But the Harper redeems itself. These boots are definitely narrower through the forefoot than older Danskos, but don't pinch my foot like some more recent styles (the Sally mary-jane style comes to mind--unwearable). I was very concerned about this, but after wearing them around the house for a good 6 hours I decided that although my feet touch the sides of the shoe on the inside it wasn't going to get uncomfortable. They have a great rocking motion; the right Dansko practically does your walking for you. They are supportive and stable and everything great. I took these on a trip to Portugal and they performed beautifully on wet cobblestones with lots of hilly walking. I am not 100% crazy about the style. The height hits at the most unflattering point possible on the calf and the faux fur is a little weird and youngish for a comfort brand (I am 38). However, I do kind of like the way they look turned down with furry ankles, even if it is a bit silly. Warning: I wore these bare-legged with peds athletic socks and the boots turned both my socks and my uncovered ankles completely black, so don't wear them with your colored tights until the dye wears off.

I really wanted to like these boots - I usually like Dansko and wanted something comfy, cute and not too trendy, with a little height/heel, that wouldn't hurt my feet after a few hours. However, these boots fell far short of my expectations. They looked clunky and were very unflattering - whether worn up or cuffed to show the faux shearling, which felt itchy/uncomfortable and fell off in bits the first time I touched it. The top part of the boot, which is in a different material, made the boot look kind of cheap. They ran slightly large - I ordered the 40, as I usually wear a 9.5-10, but my heel slipped around in this style. The only positive is that in a smaller size, I think they would have been super comfortable. I needed a cute, go-to black boot for the fall/winter -- these are not it. They're going back.

It seems like, ever since Dansko outsourced to China, their shoes are now wider. Last year, I ordered a new pair of professionals in my usual size and had to exchange them for the narrow (never had to do this before). This year, I order these boots and, like the professionals, they are too wide for my feet. I was practically walking out of them and my socks were slipping off. Not good. I was excited about these because I practically live in Danskos when I'm not wearing Olukai flip-flops. Sadly, they're not available in narrow so they have to go back.
