I've ordered and sent back a few boots now, and these are definitely keepers. They are very comfortable and stylish. Even though the 9.5 is a little long, I'm keeping them over the 9 (my size) as the 9s felt too snug. I've been reading a lot of reviews about the buttons coming off...I hope that doesn't happen as the buttons are a key feature. These boots come halfway-3/4 up my calf (I am 5'4") and offer a form fit to my moderate sized calf.

I love the style of this boot. I'd noticed someone with them on during a 6 hour delay at the airport and needless to say had a lot of time to study them! It took 3x to get them right. The first pair one of the boots was a lot larger than the other. I ordered my standard size 10. Then the second round was really big. So I went with a 9 1/2 and they were fine. They take a bit of breaking in, esp around the zipper area at the ankle, but are very comfortable. I get compliments all the time and a friend ended up buying them, too!

I love these boots - my second pair. They run a bit big, but I like that as then I can wear an extra pair of socks when I want. Only issue - The button/snaps come of the decorative back lacings. Merrell would do well to include extras when these boots are purchased.

Love these boots. They are completely waterproof. I wear them with jeans or leggings. They look very cute. I have received many compliments on them. Even though they are great boots for snow, slush etc, they also look stylish. I wear a 10.5 and they run true to size. My calves are thin and I have a lot of trouble with boot calves being gigantic! These boots are not as snug as I would like; however, they look good. So if you have a thin calf, give it a try. I also had a problem the first day I wore them when two buttons popped off the back. Zappos immediately sent me a replacement. Yay Zappos!

LOVE these boots! I usually wear a 8 1/2 W and took a risk buying these boots with a M width. I got them, and they fit perfect! The width is perfect, and they are VERY good quality. I mean, there Merrells...where can you go wrong! Don't hesitate, these are great and sexy boots!

I've worn these boots everyday this winter. I bought them for living abroad in Europe, where we walk no matter what the weather. My feet stay warm, dry, and most of all comfortable. I walk miles everyday in them with never a blister or tired feet. Great roominess in the toes. They are easy to clean with a wet cloth (I don't even oil them). Best boots I've ever owned!

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! My new favorite. They fit like a glove, good arch support, customary for Merrell, and they fit on my bigger calves! The color is grey (I wasn't sure when I ordered them, but they were on sale so I took a gamble). And I love that they are grey! Good neutral color that goes with anything: I wear with black pants, red, brown. I'll be wearing these for a long time. :)

Love these boots! I ordered them for a trip I'm about to take and wanted to try them out ahead of time. I worked a 14 hour shift and my feet didn't even notice! Super comfortable with great support.

I *love* these. I bought these because I was looking for a more waterproof solution to winter foot warmth than my go-to leather Uggs. I live in southeastern PA and we have had a hellish freezing winter, most recently with a wicked snow and ice storm. These boots kept my feet nice and dry, providing good traction on very slick surfaces. I am wearing them with Smartwool socks and with that in mind, I bought size 11 even though I usually wear a size 10.5 - and I should point out that these boots fit more like a "real" 10.5 even accounting for the socks. Also, I have a very narrow foot, and the medium width is fitting me more like a narrow - which for me is perfect but for you may be an issue. The boots are lightweight and comfortable - when I first tried them on, I wasn't sure about them because the back of the ankle seemed to come inward too much, but after I wore them for about an hour that worked itself out and now they are perfect. Anyway, my only wish is that these boots were a little taller - I'm 5'10" and they are a little shorter than I'd like but since they are warm and dry inside and look good outside, I'll keep them!

I was looking for a very comfortable rain boot that I could walk in for hours for an upcoming trip. These fit the bill. It gives support and is not your typical high gloss rain boot. I wore them in the slush and they also kept my feet warm.

I never write reviews and I felt compelled to make the time to write about how excellent this boot is. I live in NJ and commute to NYC for work and needed a good winter boot for my nearly 3 mile walk everyday. I needed something warm , waterproof, that could trek through the snow without slipping about, and I wanted something stylish. This boot is all these and more. It fits like a glove. I've had few shoes that ever fit so well. It has great support and the lining keeps it warm and, from what I hear, is also an odor repellent. I haven't had the shoes long enough to test that feature yet. And man does it look good! I have received so many compliments on them. I highly recommend this boot. Absolutely worth the money.

Great boots, my feet have stayed dry and I love how they look. They felt a little snug but have since stretched out to fit fairly well. Good for long walks too. I havnt had a button fall off yet after a few months of wear.

I am new to snow after living in Florida for 34 years. These boots were recommended to me by a friend and then I read the reviews online which are mostly positive. I don't have any previous weatherproof boots to compare these to but I think these boots are great! Very comfortable and I think they are pretty stylish compared to some of the other waterproof versions out there. I highly recommend these boots!

Best boot I ever wore. I like that I can remove the inner sole and use my own since I have heel spurs. I only wear Merrell.

Great with skirts above knee. Great with slim jeans & leggings. I suggest layering some med weight wool socks for coldest days. No problems with straps/snaps. Love them!

Love these boots, but the calf seemed small and tight. I had to stretch the leather in order to zip. Otherwise, great boot!

Wore them first time in NYC for two days of constant walking mostly in the rain. Very comfortable, no need for wear in time, and feet stayed dry.

Two buttons fell off during the first season I wore them! Contacting Merrell now. I think this is a major problem with this boot. Otherwise, the boot is super comfortable and I do like them. Hope I can get the button situation straightened out.

These are incredibly comfortable. I bought them because I was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and was looking for boots that did not hurt my feet. These feel great on my feet and they are great in the snow too. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them when wearing them.

Great boot - fits like a glove, great arch support, and super cute! Haven't had any trouble with the buttons falling off, as in the other reviews, but I've been careful with them knowing that it may be a problem. I have plantar fasciitis, and have to be careful about my footwear choices, and these are something I can wear all day. Originally got the black, but exchanged for the gray because I liked the contrast between boot and button/tab color.

Wore these all over London in rainy weather. Kept me warm, dry and most importantly, comfortable. Logged a minimum of 20,000 steps every day and never had a moment of discomfort. Button popped off like so many other peoples, but full on worth it.

These boots are great! I haven't stopped wearing them since they arrived. I wore them 2 days on vacation walking around all day and they were really comfortable. My husband thinks they are sexy too! Win Win!

If your weather changes on the drop of the hat like it does where I live, them that's boots are perfect for you. I love them. Got them this week and I wore them every day. They are very comfortable. I have bigger calves but theses fit just fine. I can even tuck my jeans I to them without looking bulky and funky. I live in the Midwest and the snow/slush/rain/ice we have had all in one week hasn't fazed them one bit. Plus I have gotten tons of compliments. Wear them with jeans or a skirt - they work with both.

I love my Merrell boots! They were comfortable right away because of the foot bed that is the shape of an actual foot. They are also practical. I can run in them and they don't slip on the snow and ice. I also really like the way they look, a bit edgy.
