Bought these in Blue after thinking about it for months. I should never have hesitated and bought them a long time ago. Love these shoes! Were very tight when I first got them but after a few hours the first day I wore them they really started to relax and loosen up and now after having them a couple of weeks they fit great.

My first pair of quality dress shoes. I originally ordered the 10-1/2 but returned them for the size 10. I typically wear 10-1/2 to 11 (particularly for running shoes, etc.). The upper is very detailed (I went with the blue version) and quite comfortable. Other shoes I've had in the past pinch at the toe flex; the upper is soft and there's no chance of that with these AEs.

I got the Blue version of the shoe and love the detail and quality. I range from 10 to 10.5 normally. I am 10 in this shoe.

Bought these for my husband 2 years ago. Took some convincing to get him in dark blue shoes with red laces. Now he absolutely loves them. Coolest shoe he has. Had to replace the red laces with brown recently and he feels it makes them less interesting. Going to buy him another pair!

Great shoe! Stylish and versatile. Like others, I was on the fence about buying the blue (already own the brown) but my worry was for not. This is now my go to and the compliments always follow when I have these on.

I bought these for my husband, and I must say they look way better in person. He absolutely loves them! He has said he will definitely be purchasing another pair of Allen Edmonds shoes very soon. The comfort of these shoes is deceiving, they don't look like they should feel as good as they do. He has added these to his regular rotation of dress shoes!

Awesome shoes! These are the "coolest" shoes I own. I have several pair of Red Wings and these are best looking pair. Highest quality leather, no cheap Taiwanese components. I had to order a 1/2 size down and they could use a bit more padding/arch support but still the best looking shoes I own!

The Allen-Edmonds shoes are well constructed and have been comfortable for the few times I've worn them so far. High quality craftsmanship. I typically wear a size 9 and from the reviews I went with a half size smaller and they fit perfectly.

This is a beautiful shoe. If you know anything about Allen-Edmonds, they are not big on being the most comfortable shoe; however, the quality and craftsmanship are second to none. They come with extra beige laces which are great to mix and match. It looks great with a blue suit, you can't go wrong with this shoe, this is my second pair.

Much like several past reviewers I waited a few months before purchasing these shoes. They do look great but be aware that they are a dark blue and in low light they will seem close to black. They do dress up a pair of jeans quite a bit. They easily straddle the line between dress and casual depending on your mood and how you dress. They do not take a high polish if that is a priority for you. Chances are very good that someone will notice these (even with the tan laces) so if you want to fly under the radar take a pass. They were a little narrow at first but I tend to have a wide foot in general. Most of the break-in I needed was accomplished simply using shoe trees set in firmer than usual. A few hours of walking and standing have them pretty close to where I need them. So far I would not say that they are good for walking long distances but that may come in time. Consider these as a nice step up from a plainer shoe and for me at least a worthwhile splurge.

I have a narrow foot. The fact that Allen-Edmonds takes the time to hand craft a shoe to meet my needs is impressive. Thank you! So many run of the mill shoe companies are all about widget D width. Sorry. Don't fit that mold. Regardless, I tried these on in the department store in a standard D width. They fit but were a tad loose in the heel. A common problem when you have a narrow foot. The clerk suggested a half size smaller. Normally I wear a 10 American 43 Euro. Definitely had to do a 9.5. Stitching and distressed look is superb for a semi-dress casual shoe. Lug outsole is eh, okay, but I prefer low profile. All in all a good price point for what you get in a quality shoe.

I absolutely love the look of these shoes, but they are really uncomfortable, even after a reasonable break-in period. And be careful on wet surfaces -- they are really slippery!

I’ve had these since 2013 and wear them a few times a year. They’re holding up well. The leather will shrink a bit in the winter when it is dry and cold. As a teacher, I don’t often wear these to school because the soles are clip-cloppy on hard hallway floors. They’re reasonably comfortable and look elegant. These are my best dress shoes.
