My only previous experience with AE shoes has been with high-end dress shoes. They look great, but aren't the most comfortable in the world w/o inserts. This pair combines AE's artful look with Mephisto's legendary support and comfort. (I'm not saying they collaborated, but it certainly feels like it!) I own the blue version of these wingtips, and they are not only fun, they get compliments aplenty.

The design of the shoe is very traditional and I love it. The fact that it comes in several different colors allows you to play with your moods. The light blue is perfect for a night out in Cancun, the green goes great with spring in a sleepy Northern California town, and the gray just seems appropriate at an Autumn afternoon get together. A truly beautiful, understated and elegant shoe for those special times. And I am getting the maroon color as well...

I bought these as a way to change up my shoe collection and they are the best shoes I own. These have made my other shoes (Cole Haan, Bostonian) look and feel cheap. Zappos is a great company, but if you order these from Allen Edmonds, they are $197 with free shipping.

Great shoe. Well crafted and comfortable right out of the box. I've had several other leather soled shoes that took weeks to break in. Not these. These shoes are also great looking. Easily pair well with jeans or dress pants. Initially I was hesitant to buy because of the price, but after receiving them I would highly recommend these shoes.

Probably my new favorite pair of shoes! I own a few pairs of Allen Edmonds and these lived up to my high expectations. They feel as comfortable as a sneaker right out of the box and are great with khakis, jeans, or business casual. Zappos has fantastic service as well! I only wish Zappos sent the brown laces with the shoes also, as AE does when purchasing directly from them, but no big deal, the red laces look great.

Quality hand crafted with a nice patina. Pretty comfortable to start despite being a little stiff. The blue is pretty dark. The shoes almost appear dark grey or black depending on the light. It came with tan laces but the red laces work well.

This shoe is awesome. I was actually looking for a black wingtip and saw these. When I received them there was no doubt they were a keeper. They are really comfortable and required no break-in time. This is my first pair of Allen-Edmonds...there are more in my future.

I got the Neumoks in brown and I'm glad I did. These are my new favorite casual, yet dressier shoe, and I wear them every chance I get, usually with jeans and a button up. The leather is soft and the shoe is unstructured, particularly the tongue, and no break-in is required. It comes with both red and brown laces.

I actually own what are called "Jingle Bell Moks" which are Neumoks except in green and red. Stop laughing, they make Christmas awesome and come with custom red and green laces. (Which brown laces you can even wear them at other times) They are the red color you see above plus a green color AE sells but Zappos doesn't (for shame.) the red is much more weathered and subtle than you would expect. This is a good thing. Shoes are standard well built Allen-Edmonds, though this last is by far the longest and narrowest of the lasts, so you will need to go wider and shorter. Mine are my standard AE size (already a 1/2 size small), but are clearly about a half-size big (and it shows, I get a nasty crease on the toe). The sole is some kind of impregnated leather which is more resistant to water. That said, they are comfortable and the unlined nature makes them lighter to wear. They don't need the break in of most AEs.

I love this shoe! Super comfortable for an oxford wingtip. The leather is soft and supple and really forms well to my foot. I have another pair of Allen-Edmonds wingtips which I also love, but the leather is not nearly as soft making them less comfortable than the Neumok. The color is great. And, not that it matters but, these shoes draw a lot of compliments.

The Neumok is a great shoe. Very comfortable right out of the box. I have gotten compliments on them every time I wear them. Comes with both the green and brown laces in the snuff brown model, but I have kept the green as they give it a different look. Only complaint, which is small, is that since they are not lined my socks would bunch up when putting them on. This is a minor inconvenience, and is a simple fix by loosening the laces a lot before sliding my foot in.

Holy crap these are great shoes! I got the red and love them--wore 'em right out of the box and five hours later my feet feel very good: I walk about 2 miles a day here at work.

These are great traditional all-American shoes with subtle modernized flare. I received plenty of compliments especially with red leather. I wear these at least twice a week. They break in nicely after the second wear.

These Allen Edmonds are simply the most comfortable Oxford I've ever worn. They're really well made, and look great. Plus, they fit like a glove right out of the box. I confess, based on the photos, I thought the blue color would be a little bluer. In person, it's a pretty dark navy, but still has the desired effect. The red laces complete the effect nicely. Love!

Great shoe. The red laces are the best. They include tan laces if the red is too much for you.

This lives up to my expectations for an A-E shoe: beautifully made and perfectly sized. I value A-E for offering narrower widths. Just one criticism: while the "Feather Welt" sole is indeed light and flexible, the heel has already begun to show some serious wear/abrasion after only a couple of normal walks. Compared to other A-E shoes I own, the heels on this one seem a little too friable.

The material was thinner, more pliable than I expected. Very comfortable shoes out of the box and I feel like these could be worn in the office during summer with a thinner pair of socks. As usual, order a half-size down from your sneaker size (like you would with many other leather boots).

First off, the shoes have some of the softest uppers I've ever slipped my feet into. Like soft, supple suede. HOWEVER: the photo is very misleading. The color is more like a nutmeg-y dark taupe than the lovely burnished tan shown in the picture. If it had been more true-to-life, I wouldn't have ordered the shoe since it's more casual than I would wear with a suit and I was looking for work shoes.

These are the nicest and most expensive shoes that I have owned. I got a size 13 regular width and while the shoes were fine for length, the left shoe really squeezed my toes on the left side. These are not everyday shoes, but I decided to wear them for the better part of a week, with a lot of walking, and with some break-in the problem has eased up. They may never be as comfortable as my Kenneth Cole loafers (hard leather sole), but they look so cool I can put up with some discomfort. I assume they will be just fine in time (and with enough ultra-thin socks!) One serious complaint: For this price, can you not match these with a longer pair of shoe laces? There is barely enough to make a knot!

Let me start by saying , I love Allen Edmond shoes . I have buying your shoes for 30 + years and still wear shoes I bought from you 30 years ago. I bought three pairs of the Neumok Suede Wingtip Oxford , two pairs of the tan suede and one pair of the gray suede. . The tan suede quality was very poor but the gray was a higher quality . I noticed the gray was made in America , not necessarily in the USA and the tan suede was made in the Dominion Republic , but the inner lining of the gray suede was much better and fit different (BETER) than the tan suede . The inconsistency of the same style was perplexing . The sides of the gray pair were higher and offered much better support. Needless to say I returned the tan suede and kept the gray pair . My recommendation , do not have your shoes made in the D.R. and do not let your quality slip. Over the years i continue to get compliments on my Allen Edmond shoes and I always let my admirer's know they feel just as good as they look & how much I luv your shoes . Hope this review helps

The quality on these shoes is sub-par. The stitching is loose and missing in some parts, and the shoes are un-lined. They will be returned.

These shoes arrived with terrible stitching all over and scuff marks on the sole as if they were used.
