Since I've had my boots, Chicago has had snow, a sloppy melt, ice, and a lot more snow. So I've had some experience in my boots. They are warm, standing in 2 feet of snow building snowmen warm. They are waterproof, walked right through all the slop and water at the intersections with ease. They are sturdy, not slippery on the elements. they tie up easily. They are wide, but I've worn then comfortably with and without extra socks now, and i have narrow feet. These boots are meant for snow though, so I didn't buy them to make my feet look dainty. But that being said, they still look great. leggings and slim jeans look really cute with my warm feet. I think Sorel has become my new favorite.

These arrived today, along with the Tofino. I wear a 9 normally, B width, and these fit perfectly. They are comfortable and cute, but I like the height and the style of the Tofino better on my foot/leg. If you like the look of the suede coming over the top of the boot, then jump on these. They are warm and I'd recommend ordering your normal size - it's Zappos, it's no risk!

These are THE snow boot to have if you live in a cold, snowy place! They are warm and give you total coverage with no leakage when snow turns to slush. However, I am normally a 9.5/10 and these boots are huge. My husband burned the box so they are left in my closet with no one to wear them! They are a heavy boot as well and they look big on as well (a friend bought these shoes as well and fit her and the boots look huge on both of us). I recommend them anyway because I think if you know that these are very functional boots and are going to wear them for those situations, they are great.

I bought these while I was looking for some nice solid winter boots that could deal with the snow and slush of Michigan. I ended up returning them because they were just too bulky for me, I really liked the look and they fit great, but I felt like I had giant Yeti feet when I was wearing them and I knew that this would result in me wearing them less.

Love them. So cute, warm and sturdy. Will be great in the winter. I wear a 10 shoe and bought a 10 and they are perfect. I have wide calves and these are so adjustable, they fit perfectly. Love them.

These boots are very warm, and very stylish. The only (absolutely only) negative draw back is that the run big. Normally, I wear a 8.5, but I could have easily gone to an 8. I might even venture to say 7.5 . But I feel I can wear some wooly ankle socks and fill in the gaps easily. I love the lace-up feature since I have size 17 inch calve muscles: which translates to 'barely being able to find winter boots at all'. So I am very thankful that these boots are bulky at the top and lace. If you find yourself sitting on the fence about these - buy them (since you can always return for free [thanks Zappos]) because if you don't your size will probably disappear and you'll regret it later.

I ordered these shoes in Twill from another website because zappos didn't have them in the size I wanted at the time. I'm regularly a size 9 (in vans, converse, reebok sneakers) and sometimes a 9.5. I ordered these in an 8.5. I have sorel caribou boots in a size 8 and those are HUGE. But these cate the great boots fit much better. The 8.5 fits snug and it's very warm. I have chronic cold toe problems, and I actually felt my feet getting hot last night. These also look really sexy and badass at the same time. I have wide 16" calfs and these fit perfect. For those of you with skinny calfs you could also just tighten the laces. Definitely get these.

Sadly I am returning these. They are great but I live in CT and this boot is simply overkill for our winters. If I had a dog and lived on a farm, yes...but dropping kid to school and yoga everyday, not so much. Not the quickest on and off boot. I ordered these in my regular size 9 found them too roomy and my foot would lift up in the back, switched them for the 8.5 which is perfect. Weirdly I ordered the Sorel 1965 Graphic Pac in black in the 8.5 and I really want to try the 8 because they seem too big still, unfortunately sold out so we'll see. I can't for the life of me figure out why people would size up on a Sorel boot ever, but maybe the sizing is just terribly inconsistent.

These are the best boots I have ever owned. They are comfortable in all situations. I live in Colorado, and I wear them everyday since I got them. They are well designed, and look really cute. I have big calves, and they fit nicely with room to lace them tighter for someone with smaller calves. I am usually a size 8.5, I ordered an 8, and they are a perfect fit. I also have a high instep and wide feet, and they are great in both those departments. I plan on wearing them in Winter for years to come.

These boots are tall, but so am I (5'10"). Comfortable for a snow boot, but there is a slight lean-forward sensation when wearing that probably have to do with the height. Warm and adorable for a snow boot. I feel prepared and a little bit bad-ass when I wear them. ;)

Can't say enough about how amazing these boots are! My feet stay warm and toasty in super deep cold snow. I will say they run big. I wear a 7.5 and the 7 fits great!

So comfortable! Have wide feet and these fit fantastically! The bottom is like a rocker that makes walking around in these almost effortless!

I finally got my hands on these very stylish winter boots! I live in Wisconsin, it has not snowed yet but when it does it snows with a vengeance so I cannot wait to test the durability. At first glance I love them, the look and practicality seems spot on. I read all of the Zappos reviews before purchasing and a lot of people said the fit was huge and I could not disagree more! I wear a size 8, am mildly flat-footed, and have 13" calves and these boots fit snug in the foot and a little roomy in the calf. For me, this is a perfect fit and I am so glad that I did not go half a size down as suggested by many. I tried them on with my husband's thickest wool socks. Even without snow I can tell they are quality and I do not think that I will be disappointed.

I live in Canada & was looking for a really warm boot. I searched for these on line for a week & could not find any sites that would ship them to Canada (from U.S.A.). I was looking for a more affordable price because you can only purchase them in Canada (& our online stores don't have free shipping)! I finally decided to purchase them from eBay because they are cheaper there (and new) so before doing that, I found one store locally that actually had a pair, so I could try them first prior to purchasing online. I am so glad I did, otherwise I would have wasted my money. The problem for me was that they just didn't fit right. I normally take a size 8. I tried the size 8 & every time I lifted my foot my heel would come out & up & my ankles were getting rubbed by the sides of the boot. Then I tried a size 7. This was too snug, but the same problem, my heel kept coming out of the boot. I am 5'2" & weight approx 105 to 110lbs. My legs are thin. I believe if I wasn't so small that perhaps they may have fit better. Also I found them to be very heavy, clunky & awkward to walk in. I felt like I was going to trip & fall. After this, I tried on other brands that were also considered the same warmth & all of them fit properly & were very very comfortable to walk in. The Cate the Great boot just didn't fit & I likely would have hurt myself trying to walk in them. I didn't feel like there was any support at all around the ankle & back (heel) of this boot. They were ok though around my skinny calves as long as I had my wider bottom jeans tucked in them. They sure are beautiful though. I was so disappointed.

Finally I snagged a pair of these. I have read every review here and other websites trying to gage what size I needed. I am a solid women's 9...always. I have a wide foot so I order a C or D width but the length of 9 never varies. I could not find these in a 9 except on Ebay for a handsome premium so I decided to get the 8.5 here. I am SO glad I did and thanks to all the honest reviewers who said these run large. Once they arrived I held them up to my size 9 Hunters and the Sorels were CLEARLY larger. I immediately stuck my sock-covered foot in with no problem, no shoving, no forcing. I also have 17 inch calves and these easily accommodate them with velour pants and jeans. I spent 40 minutes shoveling in 5 degree weather in Denver and my legs and feet were warm and dry. This was a great purchase. Ladies with wide feet and large calves will love these.

I've had my pair since 2010 and love them. This has been a rough winter but it's nice to know I can pull these on over jeans and step in any slushy puddle/tromp through snow and my feet stay warm and dry. They've held up great, I don't do a good job of cleaning salt or anything off of them but you'd never know it. I suppose for some they might seem bulky but I like that they feel substantial, and with skinny jeans I've worn them in New York City and felt fashionable. I get a lot of compliments on them so would really recommend them if you want something that looks funky and really stands up to the weather.

I live in Chicago. Between walking my dog and walking to work I can easily walk 7 miles a day in these. My toes stay warm and dry in the extreme ChiBeria (er, chicago) winters. Worth every penny! I am always an 8.5 and these fit perfect. The first few times I wore them, they felt a little snug on the top of my foot but have broken in nicely.

I absolutely love the boots. They came in a timely fashion. These boots are well made and very warm. Stiff when you first wear them but a few days in the snow you'll break them in. These boots are going to last me a very long time.

Absolutely love these! I did go down a half a size as seems true to the other Sorel's I own. They really don't feel bulky on, great traction, and love this color with the purple stitching!!

They're a little stiff at the back of the ankle. However, I've had them on a little bit now and they are perfectly comfortable. They don't slide up and down when you walk. I'm a true size ten and they fit just right. They are not dainty, but they're stylish enough for winter boots. I love them so far and am glad I coughed up the bucks!

Love, love, love these shoes and love, love, love Zappos. If every company treated its customers like you do the world would be a happier place. I live in the Colorado Rocky Mountains and these boots are excellent for cold days and trekking around in the snow. Couldn't be happier.

The boots are adorable and so comfortable! I just moved to Montana and needed to get prepared for the cold snowy winter. I haven't had a chance to try them out yet but they fit perfectly and are super cute!

I bought these boots for my daughter. I have always loved Sorel, they last forever. My daughter wore these every day for two weeks straight and said they kept her feet warm and toasty, comfy cozy; she's ten.

Love these boots! I have been waiting forever for them to go on sale, as soon as they did I snapped me up a pair. They do make your feet look wide and are heavy but if you need a really warm, really weater proof boot these are the ones you want! I love the thick liner, I have thin feet and they feel close but not tight. And on top of the performance they look GREAT! I wear them with anything and people always compliment them. I can't wait to get another pair!

This is a serious boot. It will take a while to get used to how big and clunky they are, but it's well worth it. I live in Colorado, and the snow is just as serious as the boot! The lining is nice and thick, so there is no need for a super thick sock. They actually run true to size, even though some of the reviews said they run large. I wear a 10, and ordered a 10, and they fit just right. Haven't tried them in the snow drifts yet but they are sturdy and well made so I'm sure they will be fine. Comfy from the get go. Only thing I would say could be improved is a finger grip on the outside for when you put them on. Overall, I'm super excited about this purchase!
