I do 3-5 mile walk/run combo workouts 4 times a week. Love Asics and love this shoe! Lightweight, good cushion and stability control. I am a neutral pronator - if you need more motion control, this might not be the best choice. Styling is great - don't hesitate on this one!

I bought this sneaker for my 8 year old daughter. She loves all Asics sneakers and I wear them as well. Great sneaker, true to size may want to go 1/2 size up for a growing child. As always Zappos customer service is like no other. The best! Got sneaker the next day!

Excellent shoe...great arch and heel support...too bad Asics doesn't offer any better colors (more subtle, get rid of the pinks and baby blues, offer some earth tones). That would then make them perfect. These shoes are a relief for my plantar fasciitis and heel pain.

I am an Asics fan. I have tried other brands in the past but Asics stay true to style fit and comfort! The comfort is a must because I am on my feet at work for 10 hours a shift and I also have arthritis in my feet, so once again all my Asics have stayed comfortable to the end.

I wanted to like these - fun colors and great price. I severely over pronate and these did stabilize my ankle. I just don't know if I have the faith in them to last like my Mizunos (I'm training for a 10-mile run and need shoes that will last). The biggest negative to these shoes though, has to be the laces. They're thin, short, and flat. They make your foot look like it's too fat to be in the shoe (and I'm a size 5.5 shoe with thin ankles and feet). Unfortunately, these were returned.

I bought these to replace the Kahana 3's that I've had for years. I work retail and had come to rely on Asic shoes for very hard to fit feet. I use custom orthotics and wear heavy socks and the Kahana 6's are still too wide across the ball of the foot and the heel was wide as well. Seems Asics has lost the recipe for these. I figured they would stretch out even more in a short time so, unfortunately, am having to return them. I may have to go back to a Brooks shoe.

If you wonder if you should order wide, then do it. I wear only Asics for running and have never had to order wide. This time definitely, could feel them being too narrow before I stood up.

My go to shoe. Great for my feet as I have a bunion. That said every pair I get frays around top of the shoe (where you put your foot in.) It does not affect the usage of the shoe but is annoying to have this happen on such expensive shoe. That said, I will continue to order them. I only by the ones on sale.

Had to go up a half size...my feet have been going numb on runs and i figured that since i have been on my feet all day by that time, my dogs are swollen enough to need bigger shoes! I miss the gel nimbus 9 so much, and unfortunately, though I've been running in kahanas for the past 4 years, they are getting worse. Out of all the models asics makes, i can't find one that stays consistent. I have run in asics since high school...but now my eye is wandering from the brand! The cushioning in this kahana is not as good as the model before, though the thinner tongue on this one keeps it from always sliding off to one side.

I loved the ASICS 2160 series, and have been disappointed with the flimsiness of the newer gt-2000. I need a supportive, sturdy shoe. This one is great! I like the gt-2000 trail, but I like this one even more. Great support for my orthotic, and not flimsy at all.

Pro: lightweight for a trail shoe. Flexible, but with good padding. Narrow heel, but wide toe box. Con: slippery on wet surfaces - even on a sidewalk! Tread carefully.

I really like this shoes. They have good bounce for road running and they are comfortable. Good support and they're hot pink... so DUH, there's awesome. I would recommend them!

I really like the look and overall feel of these shoes. They are my first pair of Asics. I bought my normal size and width. I did purchase these for the added arch support, however I will have to get inserts for my flat feet. I like the colors. I didn't want anything too flashy, but I love purple and like the pop of some color. Not having white soles helps to not show dirt.

I bought the Asics Gel-Kahana for a little more stability than the low profile, light weight shoes I had. Running on a combination of asphalt and trail demanded a more stable contact surface and inner arch support and these shoes provide that. There is sufficient room in the toebox while still offering comfortable arch support. They are true to size. They feel a little stiff but I need to get some mileage on them before committing to that opinion. This was one of the few pairs I investigated on line before purchasing because there are so few women's ANYTHING I can purchase that doesn't scream PINK or LAVENDER. Get with it, already, product designers! We don't all need pink surfboards and running shoes.

This item was returned simply due to color; not as dark as depicted online. They're much more grey than black.

True to size and width. Overall fit is snug without being overly restrictive, the shoes feel one with my foot. Cushiony and stable. No complaints except that the laces are too short to use the very last holes used to prevent heel slippage. Asics could have provided laces with slightly more length to allow bow ties. Otherwise, I have to make knots or buy longer laces and my only complaint.

For reason, these look a lot more masculine than in the picture. The toe box is too narrow for my foot. The half size bigger looks and feels too long. :(

This my second pair of gel-Kahana 6.Inbedded gel sole gives my heels to sink in a bit. That is what these shoes do best. I used to buy Earth shoes which had negative heels, but they are no longer available. I wear these shoes 9 hours a day and they are comfortable.

I really like this shoe - great arch support for running and good treads for trail running. There isn't a toe guard, so if your toe tends to pop out of sneakers after a time, that will most likely happen. I recommend it overall, though.

My foot is average in the front and narrow in the heel, high arches, size 6. The toe box was roomy and my foot actually sunk down into the shoe so that the heel was cupped and didn't slip. It has good arch support. I was ready to say "yes, this is it" but then noticed that there was some kind of uneven pressure being exerted on the ball of my foot that would have felt uncomfortable over time. It may just be that it was this pair or maybe I just don't have enough "meat" on my foot but sadly they're going back. Nice looking shoe and otherwise comfortable.

I have worn Asics running shoes for 10 years and never had to buy the WIDE size. But, after reading other reviewers, I decided to order both the regular and wide in my size. (Thanks Zappos for free shipping both ways!) I sure am glad I did because the regular in this style totally squeezed the top part of my foot. Love the rest of the shoe and glad I ordered the wide.

Ordered 9 pair athletic shoes. Really wanted this pair to work, but it was the only one that did not fit. So it runs small. Great looking shoe.

These kicks are great! I have narrow feet and these fit perfectly. They also have a high, roomy toe box. Many other sneakers that I have worn tend to slip up and down on my heels. Not these babies! They are stylish and fun with that great purple color. You also cannot beat the price. I would buy a pair again.

Super comfortable shoe. Just had my (second) knee replaced a few months ago and the gel insole really helps. If it was water proof I would have given it 5 stars. Other than that it has been great for someone who is on their feet most of the day, often on concrete.

Holy crap - these shoes are awesome! I have never had Asics before and now I'm looking back to question some of my life choices. I am glad I read the other reviews and decided to order the D width. My feet are not particularly wide, but they are definitely not narrow. The laces are extremely bright it's true but I'm okay with it. I'm wearing these mostly for walking right now and I'm pretty happy with them. I have paid 2 times more for shoes that were much less comfortable.
