Great material light weight and very warm. Well, Columbia, I am truly impressed with the style and fit of this jacket it is even better in person! I would highly recommend this jacket. I read all of the reviews on this jacket and did buy one size larger than I thought I needed. I should have fit in a 2X based on the sizing guide but I am glad I bought a larger size. It's very warm (despite its thin nature and lightweight). I love the sleeves with the thumb holes. Honestly, that probably sold me on the jacket. I have long arms and the sleeves are actually long enough. The thumb holes are a little tight for my long arms but useful for short wear. I don't think I'll always use them though because I feel like I am pulling on the jacket a little. It's stylish and not too billowy. I really wanted a jacket that was lightweight, warm and not bulky and I found it!

I bought this item after I'd purchased the vest version a while ago; its quality, fit, and features had wowed me enough that I treated myself to the jacket. It's a great outerwear with a lightweight feel. While I almost live in hoodies, this item is a fashionable change up. I got the jacket in a 2X so I can wear bulky clothes under it; I haven't worn it in freezing conditions, but I don't think it would give the maximum warmth for 25 degree (or lower) weather without something warmer worn underneath. I love the snug cuff lining at the wrists with the thumb-hole; I slipped on my gloves over them and there is no gap for cold air to get to my arms! The tip of the zipper has an ergonomically shaped rubber tip for easy grasping, even with gloves on; smooth action on the zipper, no snags! The reflective dot lining helps me stay warm without over heating, nor do I get a static zap when I slip out of this coat like I do with other like coats. I know most of my points are little details, but it's the little things that round out a great jacket. The only thing I wish for on this otherwise great product is a detachable hood. I was very surprised at how warm this coat is given how thin it is. It is less bulky than your average sweatshirt, and very similar I'm feel to wearing a wind breaker. However, it keeps me warmer than my bulky wool coat. I was out in the snow for two hours and didn't get cold. I love this coat, and I should highly recommend it.

I wanted a warm jacket, without bulk and too much weight .Hate driving with a restrictive jacket. This jacket is great for driving and keeps me warm on cold days. Only wish it was a little longer.

Perfect errand jacket and wearing while working out... light-weight incredibly warm and always getting compliments (purchased the jacket in coral glow) - warms up the grey dismal coloring of a Chicago winter.

I got this jacket delivered today and LOVE it!! It does run a little small. Usually I wear a L or XL, and i purchased a 1X and fits perfect. Maybe with a little room for a sweater underneath. I am tempted to buy another!!

I had been wanting this jacket for some time. It is very lightweight that makes it very packable for traveling. But don't let that fool you in to thinking that this is a lightweight jacket. It is very warm and comfortable. Had to order up a size to fit comfortable with layering underneath. Love the Omni Heat. I have slippers and vest that also has the same lining.

This is a great jacket. So light weight but nice and warm. I don't like heavy restricting jackets so this is perfect. I originally bought the Mighty Lite 111 vest and liked it so much that I bought the jacket too for an Alaskan cruise I am going to be taking. Love the weight and the cuffed sleeves with the thumb holes. Would highly recommend this jacket as well as the vest for slightly warmer uses.

I do not like wearing jackets/coats but this is SO comfortable it's like not wearing one at all. I'm actually going to purchase the long one too.

I ordered up one size because I wear layers here in Chicago. That being said, love this jacket because it is so lightweight, but very warm. If you put the jacket on a few minutes before going outside - it is toasty.

The most comfortable winter jacket I have ever had. Lightweight not bulky and keeps you warm. Live in Minnesota and this jacket is a must for any cold climates. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

I love this coat! It is bright(pink) and it is light in weight and keeps you warm. Great for shopping and doing errands when you don't want a bulky coat. I do wish it had a hood and I am not thrilled with the weird inner sleeve hand thing with the thumb hole. It just gets in the way.

This is the second Columbia coat I have purchased. The first one was about 15 years ago. I am still wearing that one by the way! I wanted a lighter coat than the one I already had and chose this one. I could not be happier with it! I purchased a size larger so I could wear sweaters and sweatshirts underneath if I wanted. The size is just right. It is large enough for a hoodie, but not so large that I can't wear it alone.

When I first received it in the mail I thought, oh no this will never keep me warm. What a nice surprise! It's light weight and yet keeps me nice and toasty. I shoveled snow, kept warm and didn't sweat. Perfect for outdoor sports. I ordered another in hot pink!

I purchased this jacket in Quill in 2x. The fit is a little small, but it is perfect under a light sweater or tees. The color is beautiful and a have received many compliments already. It is warm.

I live in Wisconsin so I am anticipating a very cold winter this year. I bought this coat in the coral glow...absolutely beautiful! This color is bright and bold so know this when you buy it it's not a boring coat. Everyone will notice you. Had several people ask where to get it! I also like the fact it is not bulky like down..so you won't get the Michelin man effect. The only issue I have with any of the Columbia jackets is the arm openings are way to small. I bought a 3x in order just to be able to move properly with a sweatshirt or a thin sweater. This coat can not have a bulky sweater underneath. It would be too cramped.

Received my jacket today in the coral color. I knew it would be bright and I love it! Wore it outside with cold and heavy wind and it felt great! I would recommend to anyone. It does run a little small. I'm glad I ordered a size bigger so I can wear a heavy sweater under it.

I've been searching for a nice light weight, but warm jacket for several years and never found the right one. I was hestiant to order online without trying it on - but fits great. I ordered the size I typically would, but I tend to order a bit larger anyway. Extremely warm, but not bulky, and didn't get feathers all over my sweaterh when I wore it!! Definitely worth the price

Being in the outdoor industry, I've tried several different light down jackets, and this to date, is my favorite. It's breathable, packable and is perfect for chilly mornings and nights. I bought it a little larger so it's longer and more space to bundle layers underneath it, and so far, is holding true to it's value. Sometimes I wish it had a hood, but it's the perfect addition to my street-wear wardrobe and my new go-to-jacket! I love it so much that I may buy another one in a different color.

I love my coat! My husband bought this coat for me after looking for one for over a year. I had a hard time finding a coat that was flattering and fit comfortably, this one is perfect. It's not boxy at all and is very low profile for a 'puffy' coat. It is also very warm, especially for being so thin. I highly recommend it!

I am 5'8" and normally wear a 1x/2x in clothing. I bought this in size 2x. While it fits, it's a bit snug in the chest/hip area as the jacket is fitted. I am sending it back and ordering a 3x, unfortunately. I want to be able to wear sweaters/sweatshirts under it and there is no way any of that will fit. The jacket itself is gorgeous, I absolutely love it. I bought the Quill color (purple) and it's a bit darker than the picture, which I'm fine with. I can't wait for my new one to arrive so I can actually wear it! No complaints, but maybe Columbia should adjust their size charts so I don't have to order this twice?
