I love that this coat is so pliable. Most coats make me feel like I am in a straight jacket but this one is so comfortable. The temps have been in the low 20s and I am perfectly warm Love this coat!!

Great jacket! Very light but keeps you very warm.

I have not yet worn this coat because it will be a Christmas present, but I did try it on once it arrived. I ordered the small. Athletic build 5'4, 130 pounds, short legs. After reading people's reviews I was slightly apprehensive about ordering the small because everyone said it ran small. Good thing my sister has the same coat in black and I tried hers on for size. I am not sure what people were thinking when they said it runs small. I have a Northface winter coat, size medium and it is snug in the arms/shoulders. This coat, a size small, fits exactly how I would want it too! Cannot wait for Christmas so I can finally wear it!

I've wanted a longer winter coat for some time now amd this one is great! Not bulky amd heavy, since I'm 5'4" and doesn't look too long on me either. It's been pretty warm too although it's been a mild winter in Minnesota so far this year. Plus, bonus thumb holes in the sleeves are awesome!

This is my second omniheat jacket. I was looking for a long version and found it in this lightweight and very FLATTERING jacket. The hood and the monkey grip liner is an added bonus. The Omniheat jacket is superior in warmth. It's very packable and perfect for travel!

I purchased this coat before winter in Wisconsin and was a little skeptical about how warm it would be since it is not a very thick coat. However, the omni-heat works very well as an insulator! Sometimes I even get too warm if I'm wearing a sweatshirt underneath. The coat is also very flexible - even making it easy for me to bike while wearing the coat. Overall, this was a great value and exactly what I was looking for.

I ordered this coat because it is a little longer than the others and i prefer a coat over a jacket, although columbia calls all of its coats jackets! Now i see there is a "deluxe" version of this, but it is shorter. When i saw the tiny package and pulled out the the thin jacket and was worried ... until i tried it on. Warmest coat i ever had. OmniHeat is not just a marketing ploy. It works. Some people apparently want a thick coat for the sake of a thick coat ... not me! I gave this five stars in spite of the fact that it does run small. I'm not altogether sure that's not due to holiday weight gain. At least i won't have to layer. The zipper ... a little difficult, but not so bad once you get used to it. And i do use the bottom zipper when i sit in the car.

I bought this jacket for a weekend trip to NYC, knowing the weather can vary quite a bit. Great purchase - not too bulky for travel. Fit was excellent - I wear an XL and that's what I bought.

After reading other reviews about this product, I was trying to decide if I should order a size Small or Medium. I based on other reviews, I ordered the medium at first, but I returned it for a small. The small fit a lot better. Even with my thickest fleece underneath (which is what I assumed would be as much as I would need to layer under this very warm coat) it fit. Even though I knew it meant paying shipping and return fees on the item (!), I didn't see myself wearing the bigger version. We just had an unusual cold spell here. I have been wearing the small for a week now and have been very pleased.

I impulse purchased this coat and almost returned it, but decided at the last minute to keep it. I cannot be more thrilled at my decision. This coat is amazing. I get so many compliments on it, and although I don't think it will handle January-March winters here in Minnesota, it has kept me toasty warm so far this season. The thumb holes are my favorite, and the length is awesome when I want to run out in my yoga pants. Love this jacket!

I love my coat. It feels warm even in cold northern Michigan weather! Fits good. Size is true to my own.

This is not a bulky coat. It is perfect for cold weather.

I absolutely love this coat. I am 5'6", 140 pounds and bought a medium. It is a slimmer fit but room to wear long sleeves. The coat is nice and toasty warm, wore it to a cold and windy football game and was very comfortable. The hood is fantastic, does slide off a little but if I wear a scarf around my neck and it stays on great. I love that the hood is not too big. Long sleeves are terrific! O love the snug soft wrist wrap with thumb opening. The coat is a great longer length without looking out of proportion. The bottom is about 3" above my knees. I would highly recommend it.

I am 5'4"/115 lbs and got the medium size in this jacket. It's perfect because I can wear a sweater underneath and it still fits. I love the fact its so light weight. The length reaches near my knees. I've been wearing the jacket in Chicago's current 40 degree weather and it has kept me warm.

I am a college student and I bought this coat last year and I am still in love with it! It is perfect for walking across campus in the bone chilling wind. It's not too heavy to carry in the mall or pack it into a backpack. Their is enough movement in the arms and across the chest to belay others on a rock wall. The only downside I have experienced is if I am standing still, I get chilly. So if I am going to be in my car (I don't have heat) driving home I wear I different coat. Overall I would buy it again and highly recommend it to others.

I love this style jacket. In the winter, it keeps me warm without the bulk of traditional jackets. And I live in Northern Michigan = COLD! The longer length helps when getting in/out of the car.

Right out of the bag I thought, "My this is thin!" But I tried it on and immediately was struck by the great shape (design) and warmth. Today was my first day outside with it (as its been unseasonably warm), and in the 40 degree rain I was both warm and dry. We shall see how it feels in the 20's and 30's as I stand out at the bus stop in the morning.

I am 5'2" and 110 pounds, I read reviews and although I like things roomy and wear big sweaters, the small was too tight. Returning for medium right now.

This coat rocks! I will forever be a Columbia coat buyer after purchasing this. We live at 7000ft so its normal to wear coats for 7 months out of the year in CO. This coat is just what I was looking for- VERY warm, light, well-fitted with length, and of course cute. Although we haven't officially started winter, this coat is super warm on our 8am walks when it's 30 degress out. I have no doubt that it will be perfect when we drop even colder. I am 5 foot 3 about 115 and an athletic build-the small is perfect.

This is a well made coat and super light weight. I thought it might not be warm enough for cold winter days. However, I have a jacket that has that great lining and, yes, it will be warm enough! First time I wore it was raining and it worked perfect and the hood really came in handy. Just buy it.

Nocturnal, size S. I am just under 5'5" and weigh between 123-125 lbs. This fits perfectly with a little extra room to layer if needed. The color is great. I haven't yet worn it during the cold but I have other omniheat attire that works wonders. My only worry is wearing my work bags/backpacks over the coat. I hope it doesn't wear down the material or cause a tear. But the coat is awesome.

I am 5'6 155 pounds and I ordered a medium and it fits great... even with a layer underneath.. I havent had the opportunity to wear it in the cold yet, but it looks great

I find that omni-heat products always amaze me. This coat fits wonderfully (is a little loose but just enough for moving comfortably) and has awesome features. The pockets have zippers, hood is comfortable and a perfect size. My hair fit perfectly in the hood when I tried it on while having a ponytail. The thumb holes are a nice touch, especially for those with Reynaud's, like my sister.

Very lightweight, not bulky, the material feels thin but the omni heat keeps you warm. I didn't want a bulky down-filled coat. I am 5'5", 114 lbs and ordered a small, fits great. I still wore a fleece on -30 deg days and was plenty warm and coat fit well. I currently live in upstate NY, wind chills hit -20 to -30 this winter... although i wasn't outside for extended periods of time, the coat was warm as I layered with a light fleece coat underneath. I typically feel cold indoors, so warmth was a big deal when purchasing a coat. This did the job without the extra bulkiness. Love the hood and the attached had warmers under my gloves. I did go sledding with kids (prob ard 20 deg out) and coat was great. Love the longer length to cover backside, the coat falls just above my knees. It is April and still wearing it bc its in the 30s here. Good investment in my opinion- I recommended this coat to my sisters in Michigan!
