Iwear a short petitie, and it fit perfectly. No dropping down in the back when you bend over and they hold up great in hot and cold weather. I wear them everyday, especially if I am going to be outside alot and they hold up great. They wash up great in cold water and then I hang them to dry and they are ready to go again.

These are my everyday pants--since I found them, I wear them almost everyday. I like them so much, I bought a second pair so I could wear one while the other is in the wash. It says "skinny" but it is not a tight fitting pant. I don't like to wear snug fitting pants or baggy pant and these are perfect. I usually wear a petite 10 or 12 and the short large in this pant fits me loosely but not baggy--perfect. I do wish there were more pockets. There is pocket about mid-thigh that zips, which is nice, but if you put anything with dimension in it, it will bulge and not look very flattering. I wish Columbia would offer more petite sizes.

I have been searching for years for a replacement running pant and finally I found it. I am 5'5" so that inbetween height and need a workout pant that isn't long and is narrow around the ankle. This pant looks great at the end of a workout too. I also bought the wide or boot cut and I can where them out to dinner. I keep buying them, I know have 6!

One of the best-fitting, most flattering pairs of pants I've ever worn. I normally would not wear "skinny pants" but I was encouraged by the good reviews to give these a try. Really work wonderfully, and work especially nice tucked inside boots. Only wish they came in some other colors besides black.

I'm 5'2" and 115 lbs. The small/short fits perfect. Great for exercise and casual wear. Beautiful fabric and construction.

These pants fit perfectly and are so comfortable. I bought them for running, but bought a second pair because I wear them everywhere! I wish all my clothes made me feel this good.

I was in the employee store and tried these pants on and I told my friend they were the most comfortable pants I had ever tried on. She tried a pair on as well and she loved them. Took them home ~wore them~washed them ~ again and again and they're just like knew! Had to get another pair!!

Most pants are built for flat people, which means they do not fit at the waist, these pants curve nicely, with no waistband pucker or gaps in the back. I would wear them all day everyday if I could. They have tucks in all the right places.

I would have loved these pants but run extremely small. No medium available for purchase..

As my title says - just one pocket would make these pants pretty perfect. Without they are getting just 4 stars. But I liked them enough to pay a second pair so I guess that's a pretty great recommendation. The waistband is just the right width/height, and these pants are snug enough (intentionally) that you can slip something in the waistband in lieu of a not having a pocket. They are very flattering but they do run small. I'm a small (sometimes xs) and I had to return the first pair for a medium. The seams are starting to wear/fray a tiny bit after a few months of use so these probably won't last years and years, but I do like them a lot and will surely get my money's worth out of them.

Fits well, but could have more give at waistline (maybe try on or go up a size). I wear a 6 in Columbia pants and this M was on the small side.

I have a bigger bottom and smaller waist and went with the XS and it was tight around my thighs/bottom but loose around my waist. I bought it for a late October trip to the Grand Tetons/Yellowstone and it wouldn't have been warm enough for the trip so I returned it.

the waist band is not stretch enough to up pass my hip, having hard time to get it on or off. I'm 5'7', 126 lb., slender body.

I initially ordered these in large, but exchanged for an xl since I like them to fit a bit looser. These pants are great for every day wear. They're light weight, so cool in hot weather and very flattering fit. I only wish they would include a Tall length. For reference, I am 5'7 158 lbs my legs are 31" inseam.

Bought these for an upcoming trip to Alaska but have been wearing them everywhere! Good for golf (but I wish there was an additional zipper pocket), good for casual dinners etc. Just the right amount of "skinny" for me at the ankle and good fabric for easy movement.

These pants are flattering, comfortable and lightweight for travel. The skinny legs are perfect for me because so many pants that I have tried are way too baggy in the thighs. I also like how the leg openings are not as wide as many of the other pants I have tried. The only thing that I would like is a pocket that would fit my cell phone. There is only one pocket on the leg that is very small. But that is my only complaint. I have ordered 2 pairs of these pants because they are the best in comfort, fit, and style that I have found. Would give 5 stars all around except for the lack of a usable pocket.

I purchased these pants for travel. They are very lightweight and will pack well. I am 5'4" and I ended up keeping the short length. They hit at the top of my ankles. The regular length were OK with no shoes on, but when I tried shoes with them, they hit the top of my shoes and bunched up. I have a 30" waist and 38" hips. The mediums were more comfortable than the smalls, but if I wanted a tighter fit, I could have kept the smalls. Note that I found the grey color to be noticeably smaller in the waist and hips than the black color. I ended up keeping the black, medium, short length. On the grey pants the pocket on the front of the leg bothered me too much. I didn't like how you could see the outline of the pocket. I think these will be perfect for travel--especially on the rainy days.

Overall, really like these. Easy to get on, lightweight, and will be great for hiking. But, I did have some concerns about the pull on factor and the durability/lasting ability of the waistband.

I love everything about these pants except the length; I ordered the short option because my inseam is 26.5in. The description says the short length is 29.5in, which should bring the hem to the top of my foot...which would be perfect. But it doesn't reach my foot. I would say the hem hits about my ankle bone when I stand and when I sit they are at my shins. So if there's a flood I should be good! Maybe the regular would be better??

Love the fit of these pants and am glad they come in petite. I am 5'2" and 120 pounds. The M fits perfectly. Can be dressed up or casual. The side pocket needs to be deeper to carry a phone.

I like the fit of these pants. The fabric doesn't irritate my skin. These pants are great for hiking. I've also worn these sliding across rock ledges on my bottom and there is no wear and tear on them. The only thing I wish was different was that the pocket is large enough to comfortably fit a phone.

This is my first pair of Back Beauty pants after hearing friends rave about them. They are comfortable and lightweight for spring but they lack pockets except for a small zip pocket on the leg. In my opinion these are more of a woven legging than pants. The fabric is nice and they are comfortable but I have to pair them with a vest or jacket for pockets!

So far I have worn to work and on errands, the pant is comfortable and can look polished enough to go to work in, love the stretch and comfort level of them. So far so good. The waist is a little loose and the knee area a little tighter than I like, so the fit for my body may be a little off my liking.

The fabric and design of the pants are great! Nice and soft, perfect for hiking, traveling, or even a casual dinner out. However, the fit isn't perfect for me. I have narrow hips and the XS is a bit baggy around the hips and crotch area (I'm 5'2" 120lbs). I have an older pair of skinny back beauty pants where the XS fits perfect. The regular length is JUST long enough for me. I'm keeping them because I do love the fabric and functionality, and need them for a trip next week, but I wish the fit was better.
