I was reluntant to spend the money on good pants but I am so glad I did. The are very light weight, comfortable, and look great. I bought them to wear hiking but they could go almost anywhere. Other reviews said they run a little large so I down sized and they fit great. I like that they don't scream hiking pants.

These pants are great. They can be used for activities from hiking to casual dress up. The material is soft and light. I am 5'3", 150 lbs and the 10 short fits great! So happy they have UPF protection!

After a transplant, I now have an extreme sensitivity to UV sun and I live in Hawaii of all places. These pants are perfect UPF 50 and block 98% of the UV rays. I've tested them with my UV meter. I can wear these all day along with a UPF 50 shirt and hat and I don't break out in a rash. Without good quality UPF 50 clothes I rash up after about 1 hour outside. I've tried other UPF 50 clothes from other big manufactures but they are not as good as Columbia's. I now own 5 pairs of these in 3 different colors. They can be dressy or casual they have a great look and feel. I'm 5'3" and 143# and the 12 Short fits great. My weight fluctuates but they have a draw string in the waste so you can tighten them up if necessary.

I bought these pants to climb in and I absolutely love them! They move with you so well and don't feel heavy. The fabric also feels very nice.

I love these pants so much! I bought them for a summer trip to Europe. Love them so much I own 2 colors and am considering going back for a 3rd. Extremely flattering! Be warned that they do run large because of the stretch factor. I am normally a size 6 and due to recommendations from other reviewers I ordered a 4 which fits perfectly - not tight at all. I am 5'4" and got the short length. I wash in cold water and hang dry, they dry in a flash and are great for hot weather because they are lightweight and breathe. In case anyone is wondering I am over 50 so would say these are great no matter your age.

The products material comfortable and sturdy. I was nervous about doing some climbing and scrambling in them but they turned out to be perfect. The only minimal thing I wish was different is that the pocket was a little bigger. But overall great product!

These were really comfortable pants and would've kept them if they had pockets. If I'd noticed in the photos they didn't have them, I wouldn't have even bothered to try them. Really unfortunate.

I love the fit and feel of these pants. They are quite comfortable, the right length, and they look great as well! I have worn them several times for hiking and birding. They wash well. I think I may get a second pair!

I have never owned any Columbia Sports wear. I had always bought Prana, which i still love too. But, I was gifted a pair of the just right pants. Fell in love with them!!!!! I wear them to yoga, running, hiking!! I had to buy myself another pair. I also bought a pair of columbia running shorts. Love them as well. Yes, i would recommend this product Thank you!

These pants are multi functional. I have others, but needed a smaller. Only wish these had more pockets.

Love, love, love these pants. They are as comfortable as yoga pants, but look a whole lot better. Super versatile. I wear them to work and play. They are my favorite "stretchy pants".

I love the feel, length was good. I ordered a size 6 short. At 5'1" I weigh 129lbs, the pants are too loose. I've tried on pants at their outlet and fit well in a size 4. However one style was way too tight in a 4 so I aired on the side of caution being the material is thin. Other than that I'm very happy with this style. I have a curvy figure little in hip area very round butt. Hope this helps.

These pants were awesome, very comfortable and fit perfectly. I have a difficult time finding pants that fit well due to larger thighs from cycling and weight training. These meet the challenge. Will buy an additional pair.

I bought these pants a couple of years ago to travel. I was immediately hooked. I have bought at least 15 pairs because I wear them almost every day. They are so comfortable and do not wrinkle.

I now own 3 pair of these pants and every time I wear them I not only feel like I'm in pajama pants, but also never fail to get compliments and questions about where I purchased them. They run true to size and wash beautifully (never fade or shrink and dry quickly in hotel rooms). I travel a lot and always take 2 pair with me wherever I go. The price is great, the quality outstanding.

I have never had pants that fit me so perfect. I live in Florida, so these pants are perfect for our very warm weather. I notice the availability of sizes and colors has diminished. I hope this doesn't mean that you will not longer be offering these pants.

Super comfortable pants! Love that they have a drawstring to keep them up. Very lightweight, but were very comfortable in 30 degree weather while hiking. Would definitely recommend them.

Just right is the perfect travel, city pant even for a desert dweller. The adjustable waist & ankle makes it a truly great fit for every day wear. Highly recommend

I love these pants. They're so comfortable. My sister bought some for me originally and I've purchased 3 more pair myself, along with the capris. I have a friend who liked them so much, she bought some for herself.

My quest: to find a pair of pants for work that allowed me to run/bend/be active while also looking professional with a polo or quarter zip. Challenge: I also needed something in a short length and a larger size. I find many women's khakis that should fit the bill are too low in the back of the waist or just don't fit right. I haven't found a pair of golf pants in a short length that also come in a 16/18. Hiking pants also generally don't come above a size 14 (sometimes 16). I first ordered these pants in gray. They fit the bill perfectly. I can be active without any unintended clothing malfunction in the backside (and a drawstring in the waist can help make sure things are secure-no belt needed). The pants looked great with a polo and 1/4 zip or fleece. I generally wear them with tennis shoes or a hiking type shoe. The short length was perfect for my not-quite 5'5" height. The only shortcoming is there is only one pocket and it's about mid thigh on the left side. It's a zippered interior pocket, not a cargo pocket so it doesn't add bulk. It does fit my phone (iphone SE, not sure if it would fit a larger phone) plus a key. I do wish the pocket was placed more like a traditional pocket, but that may mess with the fit-and I love the fit. I am between a 16 & 18 and I went with the 18. That gives me room to layer a legging underneath for when it is colder. Yet they also don't seem like a balloon pant even though I sized up. They have flexiblity, but they also do not lose shape. I love these pants and bought a second pair in black. I've been wearing them for over a month and they have become my favorite work/everyday pant (I'm an athletic trainer).

I seldom write reviews but I have to tell the world how great these are. I have 5 pair and when my sister tried mine on, she ordered 2 for herself. We both took them on our 2 week European trip and left our jeans at home. While getting caught in a torrential seaside downpour in Portsmouth England, our Acadia Columbia raincoat and these pants saved the day. Quick to repel water and quick to dry. Never wrinkles. They are my go to for work, causual and dress, with a pair of Tieks flats. True to size. A bit thin on the panty line, but easily covered with a shirt/tunic.
