They fit great but the mesh got real dirty quick and then it tore about a 3/8" hole over where my little toe was. I'm pretty sure I hit a rock or log to scuff but it's a bad design for me and where I walk.

These were a waste of money. The heel cup and arch support are fine. Actually, they're quite good. However, the toe box is either poorly designed or poorly executed. The height or loft of the toe box is tight. My toes also rubbed against the sides of the toe box creating a lot of discomfort. I wear a wide (EEEE) shoe but the width of the toe box was not up to the rated width of the shoe. Very disappointed with this one, New Balance. Folks, save your money. Buy something else.

I have never had a pair of New Balance shoes last for more than one year. The sides blow out and the soles detach from the shoes. The longest a pair of new balance has ever stayed intact has been around 10 months of everyday wear. New Balance shoes are not worth their way-over-inflated price tag! I will never buy New Balance products ever again!

I walk for exercise at a very fast pace every other day for 3 miles. I have only worn New Balance shoes for the 8 years I have been walking. My latest purchase was the 847. I noticed the heels were wearing really fast and then the other day I noticed that on one of the shoes the upper was separating from the sole. I was very disappointed. So much so, I decided to buy another brand. I will see how they do.
