Construction quality's not as good as previous NB shoes (USA made) I've bought, but those were twice the price. I immediately put in dark blue laces. The shoes are glaring silver and white, sort of an inexpensive sneaker look. For doing one's daily walk in the park they're ok, very practical.

I wound up having to return the regular width version and order a wide version of this shoe. (I'm usually borderline between wearing regular and wide.) Since switching, this shoe has been surprisingly comfortable and supportive. It's an amazing value in a walking shoe.

Fantastic customer service. Received product in two business days. 665 reasonably priced. Feels comfortable for someone like me with high arch and instep. Although I normally wear a 9.5M in casual or dress shoes, I ordered a 10EE and feels very good with thick socks.

This show runs narrow. i wear a 14 2E in most New Balance Shoes but this one is narrow.

Overall it is not a bad shoe for the price. . I like the service at Zappos. I intent to buy more shoes from Zappos

Significantly smaller than prevoius New Balance shoes. Am returning.

My husband likes these shoes. They are comfortable and he can wear them all day. The shoelaces were about 20 inches too long, though. That was odd.

I have another New Balance pair of shoes and didn't find this pair to be comparable. Not very much support.

These are nice looking shoes. They are super lightweight. I was really in love with these after years of wearing heavy cross trainers from New Balance. After wearing them for a while though, it felt like there was not enough cushioning in the sole under the ball of my feet. I will look for a gel insert and this might improve the result. It seems New Balance shoes have dropped in quality.

My pair (9 EEEE) felt more like an 8-1/2 EE. There was also a noticeable hump across the insole of the left shoe (but not the right) directly under the ball of my foot, suggesting poor quality control. May try a 9-1/2 inn this same model, but for now will try on other brands at local shoe retailers.

Although labeled width of 4E the shoe fit more like a medium. I had to return them.

I was not impressed with these shoes. I've bought New Balance shoes for years and have always been pleased until now. First, the shoes smell bad. I thought the smell would dissipate with time, but after two weeks I still smell an unpleasant rubber cement-type smell. At work, I found myself apologizing for the smell coming from my shoes. Second, the shoes are not very comfortable. I am used to New Balance shoes providing a positive out-of-the-box experience. These shoes were a disappointment. The cushioning seems to be lacking and the materials don't appear to be tough enough to hold up as well as shoes I've bought in the past.

These shoes ran very small and needed to be exchanged, but Zappos always makes it so easy to fix a problem. I am always very pleased with the customer service and return policies.

VERY disappointed in this shoe. Virtually no "cushioning" or support...if you have any knee issues forget this product.

These New Balance were really good right out of the box, but after about two weeks, the cushion went bad. I started developing hot spots on the pad of my feet when walking about two miles.

This is the second pair of NB 4E sneaks that I ordered that are D at best. What is wrong with NB's sizing standards?

I bought these shoes to take on vacation. I figured I would use them for a day of walking in New York City. Let me tell you, do not believe the glowing reviews. My feet hurt so bad I had to soak them when I finally got home and was able to take them off. I have been a New Balance user for years and these are by far the worst shoes they have ever made. If you have problems with your feet, spend the money and buy a better quality pair with all the support features like New Balance 928 for walking. I kept the pair I bought because my wife threw out the box with the receipt or I would have sent them back. Again nice looking shoe but that's about all it has going for it.

I bought these shoes based on the reviews. Well I can tell you for a fact these shoes are not worth the money or the rating they get. I wore the shoes all day in New York City and I could feel the pavement through them. My feet hurt so badly that I had to take Ibuprofen to relieve the pain. I do not recommend these shoes to anyone that has trouble with their feet. I am a long time New Balance buyer it is the only brand that I can buy that fits correctly. This is by far one of the worst shoes that they have manufactured. Do yourself a favor if you are going to believe any reviews on these shoes believe this one and save yourself the hassle. I would send them back but the packaging was thrown out with the receipt.

I have worn NB for years. No longer. Except for their shoes made in the US, their shoes are very poorly made and even the sizes can't be relied upon which is why I gave Comfort a 1 rating.
