The winter of 2013-14 was brutal in Chicago and I wore my former boots so often they finally expired. I tried Vasque (brutal to my ankle bone), Wolverine (weighed a ton and not suited to long walks) before ordering the Ecco Track 6. These are substantial, thick and better quality leather, comfortable amount of cushion, but not overly heavy. They are black and have a fairly clean look and don't look horrible with my suits while walking to and from the train each day. It finally stopped snowing and I haven't worn these a lot, but assuming they break in a bit I think these are winners. They're worth the extra cost.

I own four pairs of Ecco Track 2 Hi Mocs and two pair of the plain toe style (that they stopped making five years ago). They get better with age. I need a pair of Ecco Track 6 Boots 2 in brown or new buck color. Once they become available in colors besides black I will buy three pairs so I will not have to chance the possibility that they may go out of stock. I am 53, so three pairs of new Eccos should last until I do no need anymore shoes, if you get my meaning...

I have been a longtime fan of Ecco shoes. As a resident of Oregon the Goretex lining in these shoes is a necessary feature. Excellent comfort for everyday wear and long walks. As opposed to the previous model of Ecco hightops, these are much easier to put on, no shoehorn needed.

The only reason I bought theses boots is because I have 3 pair Ecco golf shoes.. They r by far the most comfortable shoes I have.. So with that in mind, plus others reviews I decided to try them. Guess what, these are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I ride a Harly and have had many pair of boots. These are worth the money. You won't be disappointed. Also, Zappos is by far the best co. To do business with.

I like these boots so well I bought a second pair for a back up since Zappos if famous for not having what you like a year of so later. the boots are great. The fit well right out of the box with very little break in time.

Perfect fit, not too tight nor too big. Most importantly, they are very easy to slip on and off. Quality construction!

You get what you pay for. I have been in law enforcement for the past eight years and I'm on my feet ten hours a day. This ECCO boot is what I have been looking throughout my career. Comfort is my number one priority to be able to walk on a daily basis. These boots are very comfortable, upper leather, I wear them everyday for work. Nice arch support. Order your size not a size bigger or smaller perfect fit.

My husband has worn this model boot for years. He is on his feet all day (construction work), and says they are the only boots that he will ever wear. I just bought my son his first pair and he says they are so comfortable. He loves them.

Warm, comfy, stylish and waterproof! What more do you need for winter? Love 'em. Will buy again when I've worn these out!

These boots are amazing and I have owned several pairs of various Ecco boots in the past. Every complaint that I have about each model is addressed in the next model. I always email my concerns to Ecco and they always improve. Each pair lasts at least two years so that gives them time to make improvements. These have eliminated all the knee and back pain I used to have and are comfortable to work in. They are the best boots that I have been able to find and well worth the cost.

Comfortable yet supportive boot that you will not want to take off. Best boot I have even owned. No break in required.

I currently own seven pairs of Ecco shoes (work, casual, golf, chukka, etc), and these, like all of the others are terrific. Also, if the bottom wears out, send them back to Ecco and they will fix them. If the style is no longer available, they will give you a voucher for a different pair. Amazing!

Bought these for my husband. They fit him perfectly out of the box. He says they are very comfortable. Great purchase.

These boots are very comfortable. It took a day or so to break in but they are worth it. I wear these everyday to work alternating between the black and brown boots. I am on my feet 10 hours a day on concrete and they are very comfortable. I also commute to work on a motorcycle for 40 minutes in 25 - 30 degree weather and my feet stay warm.

I agree with others a great boot comfortable and looking forward to wearing as the weather gets worse. Fine quality leather and good workmanship. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting comfort and quality in a boot.

Probably one of the best quality boots I have ever purchased. My feet will thank this shoe every time I wear them.

These are very comfortable boots and a must for my job. I am a delivery driver for UPS and work 10-11 hours a day with lots of walking. These are incredibly comfortable, but the downside is the Ecco sole is not slip resistant, which really sucks on the diamond plate metal floor of our trucks when it is raining. Also, I wore through the soles in about four months. I was able to get them re-soled (despite what some people have said) and was able to keep wearing them, almost a year now. The Vibram half soles the shoe repair guy glued on lasted about six months, so not any more durable than the Ecco soles. I guess it has more to do with how much more abuse I give them due to my job. Still, I love these boots and will soon be buying my next pair. It is worth pointing out too that about half the guys I work with wear Eccos.

A+. These are very well made and comfortable boots. Very sturdy and almost no break in needed. I use these exclusively for motorcycle riding. I used KG's Boot Guard (best there is in my opinion) on the toes as a scuff and wear protector. I happened to buy my pair during a sale at a local retailer. It'd be nice if this boot was also made in a 10" height.

I purchased my first Ecco Boots 11 years ago and I still have them. Since that day I bought another pair. The leather is the softest and most comfortable I've ever owned. Last year I bought a pair of golf shoes. I love them.

This is the best boot I have owned, I'm in law enforcement and my last pair was bought in 2009. Ordered these boots on Sunday got them two days later.

I totally love these boots. My favorite boot this year. Extremely comfortable, great support, nice leather. They are my foot's best friend of the season! I wear an orthotic insert and I'm very particular about what I wear. Now if I could only find a dress shoe that feels as good as these boots I'd be in great shape!

Because of a chronic ankle problem, I need to wear boots that provide higher support. The Track boot is the best I have found and I have had maybe a dozen pairs over the last few years. They are lightweight but sturdy and I have been very happy with them.

These boots are the best quality boot I have ever owned. The quality and workmanship sold me on the boot. The heels and arch are very comfortable. The only problem is just behind my toes. The insole feels like there is too much there making the boot very uncomfortable. Still I am willing to get some custom insoles to try to salvage this boot. If I can, this boot should last for years.
