My husband bought this style about 7 or 8 years ago. When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he said, 'Another pair of Eccos, but in brown and black. I bought both pairs--a little pricey, but worth it. Both pairs look great, feel great (according to him), and need no breaking in. I think this gift is a good value for the money--it figures out to be about a good price per year for 8 years! He is well worth it.

These are great! I have them in all 3 colors. Highly recommend them. Very comfortable and stylish.

Tried two different sizes and did not fine the shoes all that comfortable using mid weight wool socks for the Fall weather. Too much of a struggle putting them on.

I use these as my day-to-day shoes for work. They are amazingly comfortable and look very nice. They also keep water out, although this is not a boot you'd use for really slushy conditions and/or hiking.

These are a great shoe! Comfortable, great looking and great color. I have foot issues, however as soon as I put these on, I knew I had a winner! HOME RUN!

The shoe is very comfortable and goes well with business casual. My only compliant would be the support, it's not there. So if you need a business casual shoe with good support, this is not the shoe for you - otherwise, great shoe.

The boots look great and were wonderful once I put my arch support in. For winter use a little slippery a better fall shoe.

I've had a version of these shoes before. These are very comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide foot so finding shoes that fit that only come in medium width is challenging. Because of the European sizing, it may be hit or miss. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 and chose the larger recommended size. There is more room in the toe than I need but the width is fine.

I bought these shoes to be an intermediate between my lighter summer sneaker-like shoes and my heavier winter boot-like shoes. So in this sense they have served a purpose. I wish that there was some arch support in the shoes. I also wish that they would be easier to put on and take off; the opening is not very large. They do seem to be waterproof, but they are not warm, so I use my winter boots when it gets down to freezing.

I bought the boots before I left for Germany. I traveled there for a week. I found them very comfortable enjoyed the manufacturer and style.

It's a great shoe and it'll probably last a good while. These are my first ECCOs so, it's hard to comment on longevity but, so far so good!

The shoe is quite comfortable but a little hard to get on. At first I thought that it was the wrong size but it is actually a very tight tongue that makes it hard to get your foot into the shoe. Once it's on though, it is comfortable.

I have these in the brown color and because they were so comfortable I decided to get a pair in black. These boots are extremely comfortable and can easily be worn everyday. I wear them with jeans and with dress pants at times. They are a little pricey but your feet will thank you.

Great shoes, well made, comfortable after a day of breaking in. Beautiful leather, attractive boot.I'd say these shoes are good for all day wear but not so much for extended walking on hard city surfaces. Travelling I'll often walk 8 to 10 miles a day exploring, and I'm not sure the thin (but well-made)soles would provide enough shock resistance. As far as Zappos delivery, I ordered on a Monday and didn't receive them till the following Monday. Guess I'm spoiled with Amazon. Even without paying extra for next day or two day delivery, I often get items in that time frame, which is enough to keep me repeat customer.

No surprises with this shoe when it arrived. Looked very much like the photos on the website. Similar to other Ecco shoes I have worn, sizing seems to run slightly smaller than US equivalent size. A little stiff out of the box and not much cushioning inside the shoe but good quality leather upper. I imagine they'll be very comfortable after they are broken in. Simple styling so they are pretty versatile casual boot.

While the boot didn't go up as high on the ankle as I expected (trying to stay dry on those rainy days), it did end up being a very lightweight, comfortable boot. If you're not riding a bike, this boot would be perfect for looking stylish & being comfortable in most weather conditions.

A great looking shoe, but the collar is just a bit short so it rubs on my peach stone. This has not done anything to diminish my love for Zappos - world's best customer service!

I really wanted to love these shoes, they look great. My issue was mainly with the area right before the toes, the in-sole seemed to drop off causing the front part of your foot to rub in a strange and painful way when walking.. Almost like you were always walking down a steep hill. You can literally feel the dip if you rub your fingers near where your toes and middle of your foot would rest. I usually love Ecco shoes too, these disappointed me though as everything else about them was great, but if you can't walk comfortably then they are no good at all!

I didn't get to trying the boot on, I was hoping the textured leather wasn't so pronounced, but in person, it has the texture of a football and wasn't really what I was looking for. The boot was very light and looked extremely comfortable.

I am disappointed in the width sizing of this shoe. I have numerous other Eccos that run a bit on the wide side of medium and have a more fuller toe box. That is not so with these boots. Comparing the foot bed inside the shoe confirms, at the heel that it is significantly narrower than other Eccos that I have. And they were not as roomy in the toe box, hence they were very uncomfortable to wear.

Pros: Clean design. Waterproof. Comfortable out of box. Quality materials. Full grain leather. Cons: Runs slightly small and also shallow in the toe box. Thick shoelaces seem out of place and frumpy. Midsole under the forefoot is very flimsy which makes for lack of support.

Buy a the next size up! I'm a 11.5 U.S. and had to go with the 46 Euro size. I'm not crazy about the pebble texture to the leather, and while the heel has wonderful cushion, the ball of the foot seems to have none. Feels very odd. The foot liner is thin, with little arch support. A disappointment compared to my Ecco boots that I own. Not sure I'll buy Ecco again. I can't understand why show manufacturers put so much time and money into a shoe and then throw in a thin, cheap foot liner. The look of the shoe is so-so, not real stylish.

This boot was far too wide and did not fit. It seemed like it was a size to large. Most of my Ecco products are excellent but this boot was uncomfortable perhaps because of the size. I am returning it.

I have had these shoes for about a year. I never really liked how they felt. The soles on these shoes are very soft and provide little support. It is almost like wearing a pair of moccasins or a cheap sneakers. If you like this sort of thing, buy these shoes. If you prefer a stiff soled shoes for walking further than to your car in the driveway, I would suggest avoiding these shoes.
