Wow, just a couple of minutes walking around in our house and I think that Ecco has reduced the cushioning in the sole and I don't want them. The leather seems excellent.

Boot is so comfortable! Put them on and wore them three days in a row! They fit like a glove! Wore them to work on Thursday day, then again for casual Friday and then downtown Friday night. Very versatile boot if you want to call them that. The only negative is that they are very pricey, but if you are looking for a boot to wear walking downtown in inclement weather and keep feet dry while still looking good and feeling comfortable they are worth it!

Very comfortable pair of shoes. My husband loved it from the moment he put it on. Highly recommend.

This is a great pair of boots! I love Ecco, and have a pair of nice shoes for work but they aren't waterproof. I was looking for a pair of shoes/boots that I could wear through the rainy season, and these are the solution. Highly recommended.

Very good looking shoe. Very comfortable and typical of Ecco quality. Also, for me, I always order one size smaller on all Ecco shoes as compared to other manufacturers.

Sizing chart accurate. Classy, stylish: look good for moderate dress up. Feel good on feet -- lighter than my other Ecco shoes.

Great shoe from a great brand. Foot doctor turned me onto ECCO 5 years ago and they are the only brand I buy. You can't beat the support.

I really like these shoes. I've been looking for a pair of brown Chukka boots for awhile now, even ordered 3 or 4 through Zappos that just weren't what I was looking for. These are awesome. Soft leather, yet strong. And the leather looks good, not cheap or shiny. I wanted these to wear with khakis or cream colored dockers. Though black is passable, brown looks so much better. Will also go well with olive drab, black jeans, blue jeans, etc.

Can't beat ECCO. I own several pairs and the fit and quality are always consistently great.

Great fit and great look. I needed about a day or two to break them in and now they are super comfortable.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. No break in period necessary. I have a high arch and these fit perfectly. The toe area is very roomy. I'm saying felt wider than marked because all the other shoes I tried marked "M" were very tight. Hard to know which one is true to size. Could be mine are true to width and everyone else was too narrow.

Oh my goodness these boots are comfortable. I might venture to say they are likely the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. And this is right out of the box. I'm very impressed and only hope they hold up well. They are very attractive/stylish and fit a business casual outfit nicely. I'm wearing them tomorrow in yet another Boston snowstorm and I'm sure they'll keep me as warm as they did today.

This is a very stylish and comfortable shoe. The only problem is with the type of shoelaces that came with the shoe. In my humble opinion, the shoelaces were the flat type and looked bad on the shoe. I switched to a round shoelace and the shoe looked much nicer.

Very nice shoe. Shoes came out the box and instantly became my favorite pair of shoes. Ecco makes a great shoe - i have not been disappointed. Shoes are supple and very light.

Great boots. Comfortable right out of the box. Pricey, but Eccos last forever.

I bought these for my husband to wear for our terrible winters and for work. He loves and only wears Ecco's he says they fit his feet well. We have had a bear of a winter in Ohio and these have kept his feet dry while looking good for work. He said they are pretty warm, all the way down to about 10 degrees. Then the cold starts to creep in. He has been wearing Eccos for years and loves them and these are no exception.

I have owned this boot in black for many years and decided to have it in brown as well. This Ecco boot is very comfortable and I didn't need to break them in to begin with. Most importantly they always keep my feet warm and dry which is particularly welcome during this brutal winter where I live. I highly recommend this Ecco boot.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas. He loves them. They look great and he says they are very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Look great, feel great! Got these for my shoe-loving dad for Christmas, and he couldn't have been more pleased. He loves the looks and says they're as comfortable as any shoes he's ever worn.

One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've ever worn, including other Eccos. Zero break in required. Light and flexible and totally waterproof. Only downside: a bit wider through the toe box than many current "stylish" shoes I have, so my wife thinks they're a little clunky. But they still look good, and all the rest of their positive attributes definitely make them a great pair of versatile shoes to wear.

Very comfortable boot, perfect for daily winter wear. I'm a regular bike commuter and walker and wanted something to deal with New England winter wet weather but that would still be suitable for casual office dress. These fit the bill very well. In fact I've worn them with jeans and a jacket at a recent professional conference and they were just right. I wouldn't mind if they were a tad sturdier, and don't know how durable they'll prove to be. But they're perfectly comfy even after all-day wear, with the look of a classic oxford.

These are high quality, water-proof chukkas, with leather that looks better the more worn it becomes! The size is true, I can wear them with the innersole they came with or remove and put in my othotic. Look great with jeans, any casual pants, could get by with business casual, anything other than a suit that requires dress shoes. A rounded, neither pointy nor square toe, fashionable but not trendy.

The most comfortable pair of nicer boots I've ever worn. I use them for work, job interviews, casual get-together sand anything in between. I absolutely love them.

I love these shoes! They feel great, look great and perform great! They are warm, waterproof, and so comfortable on my troubled feet. I have been disappointed to learn that some manufacturers, notably Camper, vary the lasts on shoes so that a 44 in one style fits very different in another style. Ecco, like Zappos, is consistent: reliably high quality and great commitment to customer satisfaction. These boots are great in the office, with a suit, with jeans or khakis. I walk for exercise for miles at a time and these shoes are more comfortable and supportive than any others in my closet!
