My daughter has been wearing this as school shoes. Great shoes for their feet. It's so much better than ballet slippers everyday. It's waterproof! Great purchase. Would buy them again, and again.

This is about the 9th pair of these I've bought - both of my kids love them. We dont wear shoes inside so my kids love slip-ons. These are warm, waterproof, and confy 3 seasons - not a summer shoe though.

My son has been wearing these shoes for the last 4 years, and they are his favorite by far. They hold up to the winter weather of the Pacific Northwest, and last nearly a year with everyday use. My son has narrow feet, and his heels do not slip out of these shoes. He likes them because they are easy to get on and off, comfortable, and supportive even for running. I like them because they are sturdy, versatile, and affordable. Size 6.5 fit his 11 year old feet perfectly with a little room for growing. Great shoes!

The fit and the size seem good - our disappointment is the durability. After less than a month (of being worn only a few times a week), these shoes are showing significant wear. In particular, the elastic is starting to unravel and some of the stitching is coming undone. My son loves these shoes - we get them every Fall, but this year they have definitely been a disappointment.

The shoe fits to size and keeps my feet warm which was the primary reason for the purchase. Wish there were more color options.

Absolutely love these shoes for my 5 year old son and he loves them too. He can put them on himself and they’re super comfy and WATERPROOF! Amazing. Perfect everyday school shoes.

I have gotten these every year for the past 8years for my son. Sigh he is 13 now and wears a size 7. I guess this is the last year for this

My kid wears shoes every day- and he’s very rough on them. They are perfect for kids who are too busy to tie shoes. And did I mention he hates wearing shoes? This is the only shoes we get no complaints about. We get it a size larger, because he has a high fore steps. They last until he grows out of them.

These are my daughter's everyday school shoes during fall and winter. They're well made, warm and dry. They look a bit ragged by the time she outgrows them (the soft upper part shows scuffs and fades to white), but kids are hard on shoes. My only complaint is that if you wait until it starts to turn cold to order them they'll be out of stock. We have to order in the middle of summer and either get two sizes or hope she doesn't go up a size in the middle of winter when you can only buy sandals for some reason.

Love these Merrells. Get them just about every year for my boys. Great for winter time. Easy on off. Waterproof and nice looking.

We've been buying these shoes for my son's school uniform for the last 5 years. They fit well and last a long time despite being worn 5 days a week. We go up a half size whenever he grows out of the old pair and have never been disappointed. We buy the waterproof shoes for the winter if we have to replace them in the fall/winter and the regular ones if they need replacement at other times.

I had bought my son a pair like this, but not waterproof. When I saw the waterproof option I ordered 2 different styles. The waterproof size were about a half size too big. I kept both pair knowing my son will fit them probably within 6-8 months if not sooner, and ordered a new pair a half size smaller. Perfect for. He loves them because they're easy to slip on and off. I love them because his feet stay dry and they're very durable.

These look like great shoes but they were too big and too wide for my son's feet. He wears a size 4 in New Balance, and we tried on a size 3.5 and a 4 in these Merrell's. They were both far too large for him. Even in the 3.5, his heels would slip out of the back as he walked. We had to return them. I might have tried a size 3 but it's too late to order another pair for our trip. Too bad!

The quality of this shoe is so poor that my 10 year old had worn them, literally, five times before the seams on the top of one ripped all the way through. Disappointing, Merrell, I expected better from you. Zappos rules though!

This shoes are for my 8 year old grandson (size 3.5) but I have not yet seen them in person. His mom says they are great and that he has wanted to wear them to school every day since they arrived.

These are beautifully made shoes. There’s such a difference in quality from the cheaper foam shoes we usually buy. My son doesn’t have much of an arch and tends to walk with his weight on his toes. I hope these might give him more support and with a more rigid sole it might help correct his gait. They look really cool and I like the waterproof aspect. He’s leaning towards the other shoes we bought because they’re sporty and light and closer to his usual shoe but I’m going to hang on to these. Since he hates getting his feet wet he’ll give them a try then for sure. I think with a few rainy days he’ll have a chance to get used to them. We’ll see. ( btw: my son is 12 and has autism so changing shoe brands is a bigger deal for us than most)

I've been wearing these for years, and know that a big kid's 4 is equivalent to a usual women's 5-1/2. They're great shoes, and hold up well.
