The fit and size were perfect . I have a very high instep no problem . The boots are quite light considering the support they offer and their general durability for mountain hiking . My second pair in a year however, the soles at the toes on pair #1 were separating after 4 months and were sent back for repairs . Needed sturdy boots for ongoing hikes so bought same boots again .Zero break in time , totally waterproof. Hopefully the toe separation was a "one off". Otherwise perfect.Fingers crossed .

I am a solid size 11, just got them in the mail today and I say they run a whole size small. I'm sad, wanted to use them right away but now I have to find a narrow men's boot. Wish me luck. :(

My foot that has a very high arch and completely caves inward wearing this shoe. I put in my own arch support but the shoe insisted my foot rest on just the heel and the ball of my toe mostly just the ball of the foot. I can see how people develop knee pain when shoes are made like this one. many shoes do fit this way. Other than that Huge flaw its a nice shoe I think. I took them off pretty quickly when my foot collapsed inward. I hope the fix the engineering on these shoes if they are going to ask for so much money.
