Cute shoe but even though I ordered a half size up, I need to return and order a full size up.

I normally wear a size 8 shoe and have tried both the 8 and 8 1/2 in all the styles/colors of this shoe and am now going to work on trying size 9. I like the colors and style but fit is way off.

These shoes run small and narrow. I tried ordering a full size up and they still were snug across the toes. In terms of appearance, they are fantastic. Coolest shoes ever. But I just can't find a size that fits. (I generally fit average to narrow shoes.)

Great looking shoe, but the sizing is way off. In the Driftwood color way, I came across some darker shoes and some lighter, so be aware that the color value in that colorway can vary greatly.

Love me style, but there super tight and I'm afraid they won't break in enough.

These seem like super quality and craftsmanship. I loved the look, but I am a size 11 and while I'm reconciled to having large feet, they look like skies in these shoes. They are also definitely on the narrow side. I assume they will loosen with wear, but that won't be with me.

These may be the most beautiful shoes I have ever seen. Sadly, they rise too high beneath my ankle bones and are so perfectly fitted that I had no room for an insert to raise my heel. I often have this issue with shoes and it's likely a matter of my design and not the shoe. I am heartbroken to return them.

They are definitely very stiff when you get them and need to be broken in, but they look great and I always get tons of compliments.

These shoes are very well made. When I first started wearing them they were pretty stiff and a little uncomfortable (but I never got blisters). With time they have softened and molded to fit my feet and are now one of my go to dress shoes when I know I'll be on my feet all day. I love the color and detailing but did change the laces as the ones that come with these shoes are ridiculously long and made me feel like I was wearing clown shoes.

Nicely constructed, high quality shoes. A little rough looking/antiqued to wear with your slickest CEO work clothes, but perfect for rocking a vintage/edgy look with a suit or with jeans and a cool jacket

Beautiful shoe! Quality leather! Unfortunately, they were a bit tight in the heel, yet long in the toe box. I did get the 8.5 (I'm an actual 7.5), because Bed Stu runs very small. I have another pair (Mary Janes) in 8.5 that fits like a glove.

I get tons of compliments on these shoes! They do get more comfortable the longer you wear them but if they don't fit out of the box get a different size. They were true to size for me, didn't smell funny, excellent quality!

True to size and width - size 9. A little lighter than picture, but adorable (rustic tan). Love laces, leather, and comfort. Very slick on sole when walking on wood floors, so be careful. These add a lot to an outfit. Definitely recommend.

Gorgeous style and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, it size seemed small. I am a 6.5 and the 6.5 that I ordered felt tight. Will order a 7.

These shoes are trying to KILL me! Don't get me wrong - I love the fit and the look, but the smooth leather soles are freakishly slippery. I have seriously almost landed on my butt a dozen times. I'm not an accident-prone person normally, but in these shoes, I'm walking and all of the sudden it's like I'm walking on an ice rink and my feet start to slide out from under me. I've slid into an almost split, I've slid down to one knee, I've slid forward like I had wheels on my feet! Out of desperation, I bought sandpaper-y grippy things to stick on the bottoms of the soles, and those help a ton, but it's hard to get them to stick really well to the smooth leather bottoms of these shoes. That means that after just a few wearings, they peel off and I'm once again in danger of breaking my neck. I love, love, love these shoes, but I'm seriously afraid for my life. Help?!?!?!?

I've been sitting with these for a week because they are not a great fit on my foot. The toe box is extremely narrow as other reviewers have stated, which I thought would be a good fit for me since my feet are very narrow. However, it is a very unusual fit with the rest of the shoe a normal width...that narrow toe box makes it hard to tell if the shoe is too small...or just narrow at the toe! I finally decided the leather is such a high quality, it will soften and stretch out in the toe. The length is perfect. I am a 6.5 bordering on a 7, so I went with the 6.5. I think the 7 would be too long for me and my heel would end up slipping. Aesthetically this shoe is absolutely beautiful! I love the masculine shoe that is clearly a feminine shape and style. I've never owned a Bed Stu shoe, but I will definitely be purchasing more. It's a work of art.

I've got a narrow foot, narrow heel - I generally wear a 8.5-9, and the 8.5 worked well once I added an ankle pad. I was hoping the "distressed" treatment would look a little more real than just painted-on, like Frye does.

These are adorable, handsome shoes. I normally wear a perfect 9½, but even the 10 in these is awkwardly narrow. I am sorry to say goodbye.

I am so disappointed. I love the design, the quality of the materials, the color - everything. But it doesn't fit! I have a narrow foot, which was fine for the toe box, but the hell was way too wide and my foot just kept slipping out. I normally am a 9 narrow; after reading other review I ordered an 8. I think an 8.5 would be better but the heel would be even bigger. Sad I can't keep them. :-(

Right out of the box, I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of these shoes. The feel of the leather is way superior to any leather shoes I've owned. They look amazing on. As the pics show, the sole angles upward from the ball toward the toes, giving them a springy, sharp look. I WISH I could keep them, but the M is way too wide for my N foot. Even pulling the laces as tight as they go, the upper still moves too much around my foot, and I predict that as I break them in, they'd get even looser-fitting.

These shoes are gorgeous. I have bedstu boots which I would wear every day if I could get away with it. I am between a 9½ and a 10, going higher for heels or narrow tight shoes. I thought the size 10 would be about right because of my boots. But these were way too big. So I am going down a size. The shoes actually look small on my boat feet. They have a great leather and finish.

Overall, I think the Frye wingtips are more well made, but this is a cool, funky shoe. This shoe is very slick on the bottom, even after wearing them for awhile. The pair I received look more blue than black, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but just to give you a heads up.

Well, all the reviews were correct. The shoe is very narrow! I brought it to my shoe repair man and he stretched them for a couple days, one shoe fits nicely now but the other still needs some stretching. I am keeping them because I love the look, hope they work out.
