I bought these in Driftwood. These shoes are a work of art, the workmanship is just beautiful. And so cute! They are almost perfect in every way. My only slight complaint is that they are very slippery. I roughed them up on the bottom with sandpaper and that helped a bit. I hope they get better with wearing. They feel a bit narrow to me but I think they will stretch with wear as well.

I ordered 1/2 size larger than normal. It took about 5 days of wearing on and off for the leather to stretch to form my feet to perfection and the ultimate comfort

Gorgeous, beautiful shoes. I can stand and walk all day in them. I wear them with my wide leg trousers for work and they give me a fantastic menswear inspired look.

I'm normally an 8 narrow, which makes it really hard to find gorgeous oxfords in my size but based on the reviews I thought I would take a chance on this one - I purchased a 7.5M and sure enough, it fits narrowly enough that is was a perfect fit for my 8N foot! The shoe is just beautiful - the detailing is really lovely, and the heel is a lot cushier than I expected. I haven't done much walking in this shoe yet (it's still fairly warm where I live). I anticipate wearing this with no socks because the 7.5 is a snug fit on me, but the heels don't slip at all (my heels are the really narrow part of my foot, esp the left heel), so these are big winners for me. Super happy with this purchase - they were a splurge for me but well worth it! I am gonna build my whole fall wardrobe around these shoes! :)

I ordered the brown, and these are gorgeous shoes, well-made--the workmanship shows! My feet are different sizes, but I ordered 8.5 as I usually do, and the shoes felt tight. Also, the soles are slippery, and I'd have to do something with the bottoms to accommodate for my natural clumsiness.

Beautiful high quality hand-made 100% leather shoes. I love the smell of real leather! the medium width is too narrow for me so I used a shoe tree and blasted the top of the shoes with a blow dryer on high and cranked the stretcher as far as I dared. the leather was real responsive and now the shoes are a perfect fit. Worth the money.

Had to send the 9 back because my foot was swimming in it, I really thought I would have to go down to an 8 that is how much room I had, but I went with the 8 1/2 and they fit perfect. The last pair and this one feels a little big on my left foot, but I think it has something to do with the way the shoe creases in the front. Either way, I love the shoe. It fits beautifully now, they don't feel like they need to be broken in and i think I found a new favorite brand.

Thank God for your return policy, only disappointment is that I have to return them for a different size and wait longer to get the right fit. But literally felt like a whole size to big. In addition my left foot felt even bigger than the right. So going to try half size down and go from there.

Members of the Zapporati, I need you to know that these shoes and I are going to get married. That's how much I love them. We just started dating, I am already concerned about what will happen at the end of their life. I was nervous that they would be too narrow for my slightly wider than the other left foot, but they are not. I intentionally bought this mottled color so that I could wear the shoes with both dark and light colors. I am actually now going to start wearing them not just with work clothes, but casual ones, too. Bed Stu, thank you for your craftsmanship and style!

I really wanted to keep these shoes. I loved the look and the leather was so soft. But the 8 1/2 was too small and the 9 was way too big.

These are lovely comfortable shoes that run true to size. The slick sole inadvisable for me. I know that I would slip on hardwood stairs and spin out on carpet. Otherwise they were sure keepers.

These shoes are some of the most comfortable I have ever owned. Right out of the box, they fit perfectly and feel like butter! Excellent value and great style.

Just arrived today and they are awesome. I had initially wanted the tan leather but my size was unavailable, so I ordered the black instead; the distress is certainly a look, but I didn't notice any funky smell. Excellent quality and comfort (so far). My only complaint is that they run large -- I mean these are massive -- so, I am returning this pair and ordering a size down.

The construction of these shoes reminds me of my best pair of Justin cowboy boots I purchased years ago - all leather. They look and feel great.

Just received these yesterday and have exceeded my expectations. They are beautifully crafted, soft leather uppers. Stiff, but fit true to size. Toe box is narrow. Looks great with jeans and slacks. Love the leather soles, but will need to be scuffed up a bit so you don't slip. I ordered them because they had a hard leather sole and seem to be difficult to find.

Love these shoes! Can wear with socks, tights or no socks even. Dresses, pants, skirts; they're a great work shoe.

Love. Great menswear style that is surprisingly hard to find done right, cool busted up finish - and the big surprise is that they are super comfortable. Bed stu, please keep making more shoes like this!

I bought these shoes in an 8. I am normally and 8 or 81/2. I don't notice an odor at all. They appear exactly as pictures. I chose the black lux. I love them. I wore them for the first time and walked 12 blocks in them without socks and they are extremely comfortable. I love the way they look. I am planning to buy a second pair. The soles are slippery but as others have said either put a rubber sole on them or scuff them up on the sidewalk and you'll be fine.

Color is different than what is pictured more of a black and light tan, in the picture it looks black and brown. The most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. Super cute, goes with everything. Will buy more from the brand.

Give these a chance! It took about four long wears to break these in, but they now fit like they were made for me. Cool masculine style that mixes well with ankle-length skinny jeans and sweaters. Gorgeous, supple leather. Worth the price!

This is a beautiful shoe and I'm keeping it....FYI...the shoe looks exactly like the picture (and not the video). The burnishing is nice, but I expected it to look a little more like the video. I love Bed Stu quality and that rich leather smell and look. The heel is a rich mahogany brown and really sets the shoe off nicely. They are comfortable and true to size. I'm going to get some of those rubber stickies for the bottom, the sole is extremely smooth and with my other pair of Lita's I routinely almost busted my booty on the first few wears, so be careful with that ladies and enjoy!

These shoes are everything I expected! Great quality, feel, fit, appearance, and style! Real leather keeps feet warm, but able to breathe. Nice construction with vintage/rustic feel. Very comfortable!

Great menswear style for women. Fabulous quality distressed leather. Width of shoe is a little wide like an actual men's shoe. Not for narrow feet. I found the roomy fit to be comfortable and works with thicker socks. Disagree with reviewers who fussed about leather finish stating it was too distressed, too brown and black was peeling off after they scrubbed shoes with water. Mine look just like the picture. They look like messed up old shoes and I'm fine with that.

Just received these shoes today. Had to look twice at the photo as I was unsure if it was the correct shoe. The white stitching appears more prominent in person than in the photo. This can easily be fixed with normal wear or shoe polish to bring down the brightness. The leather overall was not quite as distressed as the photo. All the cosmetics aside, the shoes are extremely comfortable when I put them on but they do seem to run narrow for a medium width. This seems to be the case in hand made products and will give a bit with wear. The bottoms are very slick as others have indicate so will scuff them before venturing out in them. Definitely a keeper and will be ordering some Bed Stu boots when I decide height.

Firstly, Zappos continues to provide unparalleled customer service! Secondly, these shoes are amazingly beautiful and well made. They have the perfect cross of masculine distress but very buttery and elegantly feminine as well - the leather is so soft and they feel amazing. They are flattering to your feet. I haven't taken them off since they arrived!
