The shoe is okay except there isn't enough cushioning for me. I bought a drug-store brand insole and that made them perfect. I'm training for a marathon so I wear them pretty often. Once I added the extra insole, they were good to go.

I heard Nike runs small so I purchased a 6-1/2 wide instead of my usual size 6 wide, and my toes are pretty close to the end. I am considering exchanging for a 7 wide, but I want to walk around a bit to decide. The width seems ok. They are nice looking and feel comfortable; however, they don't feel as stable laterally as my prior leather shoe.

Very good looking shoe -purchased in the obsidian/violet. Unfortunately had to return because felt there wasn't enough heel support - even made me feel like I was leaning backward - very strange.

I have to agree with the negative reviews on the 29. These just feel flat with barely any cushion in either the forefoot or heel. A short run in these resulted in hip pain, which I never experience when running. There was no energy return and I felt like my feet were "flopping" on the pavement. I found a pair of 28's at my local Nike Outlet and I wore them out of the box for a 10K yesterday with no pain or sore spots, and I couldn't believe the spring and bounce - which is what the the Pegs are famous for! Nike please bring back the incredible cushion to this classic shoe. Nike discontinued the Max Moto which I also really liked, and it featured similar cushion/feel as the Pegasus. I fear that Nike is moving all models toward a more minimalist shoe design, which doesn't work for me. The style of this shoe is ok but I have the grey/blue and it does look a little like some of Nike's cheaper shoes. I do like the soft, breathable materials used in the upper and it overall feels very light. Hopefully Nike has realized the error in their ways, and made the 30 to be more like the 28.

I loved these shoes. I have a short wide foot (6W), and so have a lot of trouble finding comfortable shoes. However, after about 4 months, a hole wore through the mesh above my right big toe. Zappos was wonderful about it and refunded me for them, but I am reluctant to try this style again.

I kind of hate these. I've worn Nike shoes for years and have had previous Air Pegasus models with no issues. A hundred miles into these shoes, they still hurt my feet and knees -- I thought I just needed to break them in, but they should be broken in already. Wish I could send them back. Hate wasting money.

Boooo - Nike! Pegasus wearers beware! I have to agree with the previous reviewer who says they changed the Pegasus - they did! I have been wearing this exact style (Air Pegasus) for 30 years. Really. Since I was 14 and first began long distance running. This was my shoe. I always knew if I could not wear anything else I could rely on the Nike Pegasus for perfect fit, comfort and I always thought the style was great. I don't know what Nike is thinking, but I went to pick up this year's Pegasus and it's completely changed. My size and style - doesn't even fit correctly, let alone being suitable to run in. I went to a local sporting goods stores to try on some other Nike styles, hoping they had just changed the old style Pegasus to a new name. No such luck. The new styles are all wrong for my feet; and for a distance runner with very narrow feet, my options are now very limited. Thank goodness for Zappos, and the ability to order narrows online here. The only reason this has 2 stars, is because I accidentally clicked on 2 stars and now it won't let me remove one. Otherwise this shoe would have zero or no stars. It's very uncomfortable, and I can't imagine running even around the block in these.

I have been running in the LunarGlide 2's for about a year now and was looking for a new shoe that is geared more toward neutral runners. This shoe was a big disappointment. They felt nice and soft but I didn't get the chance to run in them because they were WAY too small! I wear a 10 in the LunarGlides, and per reviews I ordered a half a size up. Even sitting down, my big toe was pushing against the mesh at the front of the toe box. Why did Nike make these shoes so small? Very frustrated. There is no reason to have this much size variation between styles. Also, the shoes looked very clunky and cheaply made. I can't speak to how they feel on a run because I never got to run in them, but overall I'm very disappointed. I will be switching to Mizuno running shoes from now on. A little pricier, but you get what you pay for. With that being said, I can't say enough good things about Zappos.com. Shipping was super fast and returns are easy and painless.

I have been running in Nikes for 20 years and usually go with the Air Pegasus. I agree with the reviewer who said Nike has screwed up a great shoe. I was wearing my old Air Pegasus shoes (about 6 months old--way overdue for new running shoes) when these arrived. I slipped them on, and not only did they feel less cushy in the front compared to my worn-out pair, but they also felt smaller in the length. Over the last couple of decades I have gone from a size 9, to 9.5 to 10 in Nike running shoes. Will 10.5 be next? What's the deal? I never wear anything larger than a 9 in dress shoes. I like the neon yellow for running in the dark, but that's the only thing. I am sending these back.

I was very disappointed with the cheap quality and lack of support in this shoe. It's a bummer because I have been a loyal Nike Air Pegasus buyer for years! In the past, the air Pegasus consistently accommodated my orthotics with comfort and support... not so any more. The real weird thing is that after I wore them in the house for an hour or so, underneath the insole of the toe box was damp/wet - like condensation and 'did not seem like a good thing to me! I'll be shopping for another brand and style.

I have four pairs of previous models of Nike Air Pegasus and love their comfort and fit. The +29 model however just doesn't measure up--these shoes don't support at all and allow my feet to pronate.

Awful, awful. Sizing is way off and the look is unattractive. I'm a true size 7 and ordered size 8, yet these were small. Should have ordered 8.5, but, even if I had, I wouldn't have liked the style. The gray/blue looks so cheap and ugly. Nike, what's up?! Huge disappointment.

THIS IS A HORRIBLE SHOE If you want a cushioned shoe do not buy. Under the insert is no cushion at all. Hard as a rock. Waste of a lot of money.
