Overall, very comfortable leather. A little tight, I think they run about a half or quarter size too small. The leather cushion on the inside is amazing, makes wearing on concrete much more comfortable.

I have worn the traditional Sperry boat shoe for the past five decades and thought I would upgrade to the Gold Cup shoe. The quality of this shoe is outstanding but I found it to be a little narrow even though I ordered the wide. I also did not like the extra cushion in the sole. I will definitely reorder the traditional boat she over and over.

After a few orders came too narrow I finally got it that I needed an XW sizing. My shoes are great. Really appreciate the simple and fast return/refund policy. Mucho goodwill over that to Sperry. I've been wearing the Original Boat Shoe now for over 50 years [not the same pair, mind you]. I would like to see XW in the Gold Cup line. The Crepe Sole Gold Cup Captains Oxford seems like something for me ... but, I need that XW width.

This is one of the most comfortable uppers on a mocasn that I have worn, the upper is buttery soft. The outsole is flexible, but thick enough to absorb impacts from day to day walking outdoors.

These are the most comfortable shoes you will ever wear. The leather is the softest; the inner-sole makes you feel as if you're walking on a cloud. The styling is traditional, but Sperry uses some subtle shading in the color to give the shoes a unique look. The shoes are for boaters, but you can wear them to any casual event; you will not be out of place. The quality is superb; I haven't bought any Sperry shoes for a while, but if past purchases are any indication, these shoes will last a long time.

I bought these shoes for my husband who loves the gold cup shoes. They fit him great and he is very happy.

Absolutely amazing shoe. I never thought it would be so comfortable and look so good. My girlfriend has always liked boat shoes, so I decided to buy a pair and see how I liked them and how she liked them on me. Needless to say, we both love them!

I wear boat shoes almost all of the time now and have reached the point at which I purchase Sperry Gold Cup Original exclusively. The shoe is extremely comfortable and - for me - well worth the additional expense. Fit is consistently spot on and they last me a long time. I highly recommend.

Bought for my husband for Father's Day. He's been wanting these shoes for so long and happy to report He is extremely happy and can't wait to wear them out. He especially likes the softness of the leather and is extremely happy!

These are my favorite shoes and they are only better as gold cups. Highly recommend for anyone who lives in their topsides.

These are literally just like my old original sperrys, but with much nicer material. The interior is much more comfortable and the outside is just as stylish. My first few times I felt underdressed, because the interior was felt like I was wearing a great pair of slippers, and I kept forgetting I was actually wearing sperrys. I haven't even gotten any blisters on my heel while breaking them up. It's definitely a bit more expensive, but if you can afford it and take care of your shoes I would recommend it!

I find the arch support is great Very comfortable and can be worn for a long time

Not disappointed with these new Gold Cups. So many companies cheapen quality of their products over time for the sake of margins. Sperry appears to buck that trend. These are true to the originals... comfortable right out the gate. I will be ordering another pair in a different style.
