This is a great bag. It is basic and doesn't have tons of pockets or zippred areas but if you are looking for a basic bag, this is the one. The straps are good, can hold a lot without looking like I am moving out. (I am 5'2" so many bags look big on me but not this one.) I got the reptile multi colored one and it is a great color. Not too bold but different enough, I don't like having the same bag as everyone else. It can hold a good amount of books and binders and it can also hold a laptop. My laptop is 15.6" and it is snug but it is able to slip in, anything larger won't. There isn't a place for a laptop or padding but I keep it in a case in it. The bag also went on a weekend trip. I was able to put a pair of jeans, sweatshirt, toiletries, undergarments, three shirts, a towel, bathing suit, my kindle, wallet, keys, chapstick, and a pair of shoes and flip flops. I was also able to fit gifts for the way back in it. Love the bag, always have loved Jansport great bags!

Bought this for my 13 year old daughter and she loves it! Build quality seems to be good, she is tough on stuff and so far so good! Perfect size for her and she weighs in at 95lbs at 5'4" tall.

Great backpack for the price, a few things to look out for on the white one, the Jansport logo isn't silver on mine its the normal maroon and navy, and from the picture. I was worried the backpack would be almost transparent but its not at all, looks great, comfortable, very stylish, not too hard to keep clean. Overall great product. I was not disappointed!

Very pretty backpack and perfect size for my 7 year old, but how in the world does it not have a water bottle holder on the side? What an amazing omission.

The bag itself is cute, but the orange team color is not what you think. Online it looks like a cute yellowy-orange color, but in person it's an ugly bright neon orange.

I bought this backpack for an upcoming trip to St. Lucia. I was looking for a "personal item" for the plane that zipped so my stuff wouldn't fall out everywhere. This size is perfect for what I wanted - not so big that it equals a carry-on but big enough for an overnight bag or day bag for excursions. Chose this over a tote because a backpack is easier to carry and more versatile in my opinion. Jansport makes quality stuff, I used their backpacks for years as a student. I got the navy moonshine and it's super rad! Adds a little personality. Great bag!

The backpack is true to it's pictured color and the size it great. I am a graduate student and it is big enough to hold a whole lot of my books while not overwhelming my 5'3'' body. I appreciate the bag's simplicity for me, I didn't need a bag with all those fancy shmancy pockets and zippers and this one was just right.

First - JanSport is a very durable book sack and this size is perfect for grade school to high school. Zappos is the best company to order anything from hands down. Their customer service is unmatched in many ways including: shipping, returns, quality and phone representatives. I highly recommend choosing this website for many of your needs. By the picture I wasn't completely sure but it's the perfect size to hold all my notebooks. Way roomier then you'd think! And the purple sky color is just what I wanted. (The lifetime Jansport warranty only sweetens the deal!)

I got this backpack for my 8th grade year and can I say I absolutely adore it! It's so perfect, fits all of my books, and super stylish at the same time! I got so much compliments and it lasted me so long! And still does I am so happy with this product it's not like those cheap Walmart ones that break in 1 month. I highly recommend this!

I love the color and the size. The strap is not necessarily comfortable, and the bog is pretty thin, but it seems pretty sturdy.

This bag is great it is simple lots of space in the bigger pocket and the little pocket has space for pens abs everything

Love this little backpack. It fits my laptop and books without looking huge. It's also the perfect size carry-on for budget airlines that check for bag size. I do sometimes wish it had a strap across the waist to balance out the weight.
