Great backpack for students or anyone needing a backpack to travel with. Can fit books and has practical compartments to store other small items.

I brougth this bag for my daughter she love it

Purchased this North Face as a gift for my middle school daughter. There is ample room for all of her large binders, books and a small computer. She uses the side pocket for her large water bottle and storage is plenty in this bag. The bag also fits into a normal sized locker while at school. Very impressed with the lifetime guarantee of the product and this is our second North Face backpack in our family.

I bought this backpack planning to use it for school and ended up using it to pack for a weeks trip to New York!! It fits SO much stuff in it!! And it is not too bulky, I have already received compliments for it, and I have only had it a week!

I use this for college but you can use it for anything really. It's so comfortable and has many zippers to put your stuff in.

I use this product to carry my books around my college campus and it works so well! Very spacious.

Good for school

My daughter has scoliosis. This pack was recommended to us by many parents of scoliosis kids. It is well constructed, lightweight, and the clasped straps at both the sternum & waist keep the pack situated and not lopsided. From what I hear, it should bring her through high school (currently in 8th grade). Thank you, North Face, for creating a winner!

Straps provide great support. Ample room for storage of items, large and small. Comfortable for active lifestyle

Bought it for my daughter. She loves it, but it is heavy once she puts her stuff in it.

Very attractive bag...My daughters only complaint was the padding on the straps was hard and not as soft or cushioney. Im hoping with use they will soften up.

Bought both the Women's Borealis and the Women's Recon backpacks to compare, and bring the better one to college. The Recon is supposedly bigger and better for outdoors and such, but I found the Borealis to fit the same amount of books/school supplies/shoes/etc. The water bottle pockets on the Recon were too deep for me to get a water bottle in and out while wearing it, but the Borealis's pockets are great and I can easily get water on the move. The elastic straps on the front are also good for holding things like jackets or shoes. I only have two complaints, which are the straps and the fact that the backpack does not stand up easily. It needs to be leaned against something, but sometimes it just falls. The straps, as many other reviews noted, are very stiff and hurt when worn for too long. I have only been using the backpack for a week so hopefully they loosen up.

My daughter loved the colors! It looks so cute and it so comfortable.

For a high school student with big binders this product is not the best. I used it on my first day and could on fit three binders, 2 inch binders will definitely not fit in this bag along with other binders. My school doesn't not use their lockers so I had to leave a binder at home. Very stylish though.

this backpack will be used to carry all that I need for high school.

I love this backpack. I have to carry my laptop and books to class and this is the best option comfort wise.

I've bought several of these for my kids over the years, or rather, I've bought 1 for each child and they have for years and years. Longest I think is going on 6 years so far and still loves it. Make the investment, go with something they'll love for years to come, well worth it!

Great for school! The water bottle pockets are very convenient and durable. Plenty of room for books etc.
