Got this for my high school daughter. This is what she requested & she loves it. Says plenty of room for books, laptop, etc. Very happy with quality.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She really likes it, and it is perfect for her small frame. We both think it will get her through her four years of college because it is very well made. She may get tired of it before it wears out...her words not mine.

I like how this backpack looks, but I ordered it and when it got here it was way too small. I measured it and the measurements were not the same as above.

North Face, just make sure you get the right size!

So far I am very pleased with this backpack! You can tell its very sturdy. I have 2 teenagers that during an average school year go through at least 2 to 3 backpacks each. I have decided to go for quality, backed by a warranty. We will see, but so far, so very very good!

I just bought it yesterday and I have not used it. stitching is already starting to fray :(. I used my savings to pay for it thinking it would be a good fit for school. Sadly it is already going downhill before I even used it.

This backpack can fit sooo many things it's amazing. I love the color, size and the fact that no matter how many textbooks I carry, it's is still not heavy to the back. Will def recommend this to college students!

Absolutely love this bag. The pink was on point. Initially I thought maybe it was a little to bright but I love it. I love the compartments. They really keep ur stuff organized. Bag was a little stiff at first but I guess after a few times of stretching with books etc. it fellas a little bigger. Only thing is I believe the laptop compartment was made for a Mac so if u have an ordinary big laptop, you might have trouble fitting it in the spot. Overall I still think it's a great bag. Spacious, organized, strong, feels great on the back even when stuffed. Just an awesome bag I think.

I love the backpack and the colors it is offered in. But if I have to spend $90+ I should be able to fit just about anything I need in there.... And I can't. It is incredibly comfortable making it worth it for me.

I just ordered my Borealis Backpack a week ago from here and I was so happy I did! Ive gone through many different backpacks throughout high school and college and have always been disappointed. I had an Underarmor one and a target brand one and both hurt my back and shoulders a lot! they hung so low and the straps ripped with in one year at least! I finally decided to take the plunge and buy this $90 backpack since everyone had one on campus. Im so glad I did, its light weight but still feel super durable, the padding on the back part and the straps are super comfy! No longer are the days of saggy sadness! I am able to carry 2 medium size books, 2 1 in binders, my Lilly Pulitzer agenda, my 13 in MacBook Pro (which btw fits perfectly into the laptop compartment, so anything bigger might not be ideal), a folder, my mac charger, plus many other small nicknacks like pens and stapler. I ordered it in the Passion Pink and its the mod perfect girly pink ever! I am in love, and will only buy North Face backpacks from now on!

I bought this as a daypack and a bag for school. The laptop sleeve is a bit small and at MOST fits a 15" laptop. There are plenty pockets to fill with school supplies or gear. When I pick it up and it feels really heavy when I put it on my back I barely feel it at all. I have a bad back so carrying a backpack is usually hard but this is the MOST COMFORTABLE pack I've ever had. It's breathable and has the best support and has plenty of room without feeling big and bulky. I have told all my friends about it, I've forced them to try it on and they all agree how amazing it is. I'm 5'6'' and it fits me perfectly.

Love this daypack in the Premiere Purple color. Perhaps my favorite daypack in my middle-aged life! (Didn't like the Magenta Distressed Plaid at all.) It's well-designed and comfortable for my 5'2", with lots of organizing pockets, and a neoprene laptop pocket that's padded at the bottom. The bungee cord keep it evenly compressed and compact when it's not full. Just please realize the pack is not that big and only 25 liters. It's a good thing it has the bungee cord to hold jackets, etc.

I can carry 3 1 inch binders, 2 folders, 1 spiral notebook, 2 small books, and a pencil case in the big part. Then my lunch box, and my iPad in the other. It's a great backpack for school and feels so light when you carry it. It's vey roomy.

I chose this backpack very carefully and for a number of reasons: I am a hiker, camper, cyclist, and a college student. My main use for this backpack is for school, although I do love that it is functional for many of the things in my life. One of my main concerns was the size of the pack. I am 5'2 with a petite frame. I wanted a backpack that didn't overwhelm me but could still fit my laptop and books. My 15 1/2 inch laptop barely fits in the sleeve, but it does fit. Definitely could not get any bigger of a laptop in here (the corners of my laptop can be seen against the top of the pack). There is a cushion below the laptop sleeve that offers protection from hard surfaces which is a great comfort. Overall the backpack has great sized pockets.I can carry all of my textbooks, notebooks, laptop and school needs with room to spare. It is just a little long on my small torso, comes all the way down to the top of my butt but that is not a huge issue since I'm more concerned with carrying all of my things. The straps are comfortable and secure which is great for cycling or hiking. There is also a place to snap a light on to the back which is pretty cool. One of my FAVORITE features about this pack is that it's compatible with a CamelBak bladder! At first I thought the slot in the top was for headphones, which I'm sure it could also be used for, but then I saw the guides on the straps for the mouthpiece of your CamelBak. Overall, so happy with this purchase and I expect it to last me a long time!

I bought this backpack for college in the ice blue and black color. I am really happy with the backpack fits my 15" macbook pro kind of snug but its no big deal! I like that it is waterproof and has lots of pockets and storage! Love the water bottle side pockets. DOWNSIDE: I do like the backpack a lot, dont get me wrong. I just do not like the strap that goes across your waist. Its really tacky and I'm probably never going to use that. Idk do I just let it hang or cut it off? Havent decided yet.

I'm a nursing student and needed a good quality bag with good back support. This bag has amazing back support and you can't even feel the weight of the heavy books! I got the blue/aqua one and will definitely recommend this bag to anyone!!

I absolutely love this back pack. I use it to transport my laptop to and from work nearly daily. The padding makes it very comfortable. It's also very roomy for plenty of items alongside the laptop. Cleans up easy and has a top handle. Would buy again and again.

I really like this backpack. When I got it I expected it to be smaller but since I use this for school I really do need all the space. What I fit in it: 3 binders A folder with a notebook Macbook Air Pencil case Exta paper Phone This backpack is on the heavy side even without books, but since it has great support, it doesn't hurt while carrying it. Some might be hesitant about the price, but it is worth the money.

It has very comfortable back padding and it looks like its made out of good material. The only thing is that the picture for the moonlight ivory/ miami orange shows the interior as miami orange it is actually grey not the color that is shown in the picture the colors are off. Otherwise it is a very comfortable and snug backpack.

So when I received this backpack it did not look like the picture online. I bought the colour in Moonlight Ivory/Miami Orange, and the organizer pocket was not in fact, orange, it was gray. Also, something not pointed out is that the laptop sleeve, though padded, does not reach the bottom of the backpack. It is suspended leaving an inch of unusable space at the bottom corner of the backpack. Another feature that North Face should have added was to make the padding removable. Because the padding isn't removable but rather sewn in, there is very little room to fit my notebooks and textbooks. Although this guarantees the laptop having space, it is obvious that the sleeve is designed for Macs, not bulkier laptops like a Dell. My school Dell laptop stretches the fabric of the sleeve. Also, the backpack is heavier than I anticipated, and although still very light, not as light as I would have liked. The front of the backpack slouches down in a very unattractive manner, giving the backpack a "beer belly" of sorts. Organizer pockets are nice, they fit everything I need but I feel like they should have been sewn with a little wiggle room, because when I put my Ti-84 calculator and math set in there the math set gets squished and everything feels tight. Organizer pocket has enough room to fit a whole notebook or a few novels. Overall for the money I feel like I could have gotten the Jester II and been much more satisfied. But since the return process for me is too complicated and school is almost starting I will be keeping this backpack and will try to learn to love it.

As someone who has had back problems in the past, this backpack is unbelievable! I received this as a christmas present a couple of years ago and it still looks brand new! This is by far the best backpack I have ever owned and I'm looking at buying another one just for another color!
