This is my daughters second North Face bookbag and we are very happy with the product

Bought both the Women's Borealis and the Women's Recon backpacks to compare, and bring the better one to college. The Recon is supposedly bigger and better for outdoors and such, but I found the Borealis to fit the same amount of books/school supplies/shoes/etc. The water bottle pockets on the Recon were too deep for me to get a water bottle in and out while wearing it, but the Borealis's pockets are great and I can easily get water on the move. The elastic straps on the front are also good for holding things like jackets or shoes. I only have two complaints, which are the straps and the fact that the backpack does not stand up easily. It needs to be leaned against something, but sometimes it just falls. The straps, as many other reviews noted, are very stiff and hurt when worn for too long. I have only been using the backpack for a week so hopefully they loosen up.

Very attractive bag...My daughters only complaint was the padding on the straps was hard and not as soft or cushioney. Im hoping with use they will soften up.

I have used this backpack for so many things. Traveling on the airplane was great, going to school is so much more convienet, going camping is no longer a hassle, and just taking anywhere I need it is so much better.

I got this bag for college, and so far it seems to fit everything I need and still be comfortable too!

I can't speak to whether or not it's durable yet, as it's brand new. But it wears comfortably and really was everything we expected. I give it 4 stars because I think it's overpriced, but luckily we found a way to save money using a giftcard site and saved 8%. But other than that, from a product standpoint, so far so good and it seems to work perfectly.

Use this product for school. Everything about is great. The only thing I dislike is the front pouch. Its smaller and only half the size of the other pouches, which makes it weigh down and makes things harder to get into the other pouches. Besides that very spacious. Very stylish.

I love the laptop compartment! It's super protective!

I use this product as my backpack for school. It's a very cute design and trendy. Also the colors are very cute. But I would like it to be a little more roomy in the biggest pocket. I carry a couple thick textbooks and it's a tight squeeze to fit them. But overall amazing! Also, the back is very stiff and would be better if it was more foamy not as cardboard.

I use this backpack for school, so this backpack does the job. I just wish it had more pockets, or at least more space in the pockets. Overall it's a good backpack.

Great backpack. I do wish it had an interior laptop sleeve, but that is it.

the back of the backpack (the part that touches your backpack) is kinda hard and not really comfortable. you gotta adjust to it but then you stop noticing it. The backpack isnt that big. i could only fit like maybe two-three text books. But the backpack does look really nice though. v stylish not gonna lie

Good Solid Product with lots of color choices

Using it for school.

i used it for school to hold all my notebooks and thing and there is a lot in there. it took some time for the straps to break in, because it really hurt my shoulders at first, but super comfortable now, with lots of room. i wish the laptop pocket wasn't its own pocket because it's kind of wasted space. other than that, lots of great things!

I use it for college and it fits all the things I need.

It's beautiful color, better than picture online. I'm using this backpack for commuting, enough room for crrying my daily items such as lunch, shoes, etc. Only doesn side is the shoulder strap - in first 5 uses, it was hard as iron, not comfortable to on and off, and finally it's getting a little softer, & flexible, staying on my shoulder comfortably.

I like the color and overall design. The pockets are roomy and I am able to fit three large binders and my computer.

Bought backpack for my middle school daughter. She love she it. Sturdy and plenty of room inside for books and binders. Especially with the water bottle holder on the side.

Back pack is well made and has held up to school books binders.

I use this product for school and find it to be a great bag to put all of my stuff in and still have it feel light weighted. The only problem I have is that the straps are a little uncomfortable.

Let's see if it lasts the entire school year!

The color is wayyyyy darker than in the picture, but the functions seem of it seems devent

I love it I just wish it was a bit larger so I could fit more in it
