This is an absolutely awesome backpack! It is exceptionally comfortable even when fully packed - and it can hold a lot. It also actually keeps your body aligned due to its solid construction. It was terrific for my climb on Mount Fugi - I felt like had nothing on my back. My Zappos representative on the phone was helpful. I received it in 24 hours. This was a great experience as always.

Bought this backpack for my grand-daughter going off to college. She loves how comfortable and pretty it is. It will hold everything she needs securely. The fabric will also be easy to keep clean. Just perfect!

This book bag is an excellent use for your high school year! You can fit as my book you want for all of your periods! This book bag has pads for support on your shoulders and has everything you need such as pencil holders, laptop holder, and may other things!

With 2 children and 6 grandchildren I have purchased a lot of backpacks. This one is their all time favorite and the fourth one I have purchased for different children. They are sturdy, and have allotted spaces for everything they carry. They love the look and usefulness and I love the quality.

Ordered this backpack for my HS Senior. Its perfect size, smaller 'profile' than many backpacks but it easily holds everything she needs. She loves the color and I love the quality.

This is my second North Face bag and I am again thrilled! It is comfy and fits the small frame of a woman. It is vibrant and fits all my stuff. Totally happy!

I really liked the fact that it came with cushioned back padding and strap padding, it really helps when carrying. When I was looking and comparing the bag itself looked like it would be a bit bigger than how it came. I was hoping that the dimensions would be a bit wider so that it would fit things more easily. When reading reviews they made t sound bigger. Maybe in the future it might be beneficial to make the separate pockets for placement a bit wider to fit books etc more easily.

I just started high school 5 weeks ago and was hoping to use this backpack all 4 years. My backpack broke completely randomly. After class, I lifted my bag up and the strap snapped out of nowhere. This is supposed to be a high quality hiking backpack and it couldn't even hold up for 6 weeks with very little in the bag. I honestly wouldn't recommend this to anyone. My friends have $20 backpacks that I would consider higher quality than my broken $90 bag.

I exchanged this for a surge II , even tho I loved the quality and colors. North face really needs to design a 32l pack for women (or offer 32l packs in women's colors) . They told me that women's packs are smaller because womens torsos are smaller, but that's just silly: women need to carry just as much stuff as me , if not more, so have your engineers figure it out. Right now 27l isn't enough for work+workout+shower toiletries, let alone overnights.
