I just ordered this backpack for my 15 yr old daughter and she loves it. It is very lightweight and has good support. The backpack feels lighter than her other one even though she has the same amount of stuff in it. Also the shipping was great and quick. Ordered on Tuesday and had it by Friday.

Great product! True to it's color, made very well! Will be buying a 2nd one for my other daughter.

My 15 year daughter carries her back pack all day long . She had a different brand at the beginning of the school year and it completely ripped on bottom. We chose North Face for it durability. What we got when it was delivered was not only the durability. It has comfort straps that feel so good on her little back. and it's so stylish! She is so happy . This pack carries 3 huge textbooks, folders , water bottle, pens, pencils,calculator snacks and change of clothes for soccer practice. She is definitely hard on her back pack and it stands up to all she puts it through ! Very pleased. It's worth the money. Wishing we would've purchased it to begin with instead of the other.

This backpack is roomy, but not too heavy. My daughter is going to love it for veterinary school!

I LOVE THIS BACKPACK! Before it came in, I just thought that the pack was a gray color. Nope! It's this neat matte shine silver! It's the right about of structure and tons of storage. Being a college student, I carry around a lot of supplies and books. There's room and a place for everything. I'm an organization freak, and this makes me oh so happy. There's a good sized laptop and tablet sleeve. You can fit both in the sleeves, plus books! The front pockets are great and I love the water bottle pockets on the side. Perfect for an umbrella, especially with the pack's straps so the umbrella won't fall over. The back is padded and the shoulder straps are really nice. It's easy on your back. It is well worth the money! I wish I would've found this sooner.

I love my new backpack! I've gotten so many complaments on it and my friends are now starting to buy some too! Thanks for some awesome gear!!

Both for college and hiking. Withstands alot of torture

I've been borealis fan for more than 7 years, and i've had 3 borealis backpacks, and this is my last borealis model, i wanted to try it because i'm a women, but i fact i prefer the older models, i'm not happy with this, the only thing that im glad is women structure. Materials are cheapers, for example, i have only 8 months with my backpack, and the internal supports of the closures are ripping out , the front pocket it's not good, its too small, sides pockets for botles are not good because everything fall out all the time, i prefer the older model with elastic cord, and back panel, i mean, part that is in contact with my back is not a good material, also the reflective part that is located near borealis name is starting damaging. As a north face client, specially as a borealis client i would like a mix betwen a borealis 4 years ago with current one.

I purchased this backpack for my daughter who was walking to classes, carrying everything, including her laptop in a tote. Now she can carry everything she needs easily on her back. Protecting the laptop was most important. With 2 1/2 years left for her doctorate, I'm confident it will outlast her years of school. Very well made and comfortable for her. Many pockets for all the little things as well.

College daughter loves it! Score! Not only cute and bright, but it has good pocket placement and space inside for her 15 macbook pro. She uses the outside laces for her hat and mittens when not walking to class.

I bought this backpack for my sister who is in college. It's GREAT! Has a ton of compartments and is extremely well made. The straps of the bag has almost like a memory form material to them--perfect for when the bag is packed with heavy books and a laptop. This will be a bag she will have for the next 3 years of college for sure! Must BUY!

This backpack is deceptively small. It has a lot of useful room and held a lot more than I thought it would. Overall, this backpack is very functional and well made.

I actually purchased my Borealis in January 2011 and she is still like new even though it is used every day. It is the perfect size for my college classes and my first full year of nursing school. It's still in such great condition I'm handing it down to my sister since she is starting college. My next bag will definitely be a North Face!

It was exactly what I needed for school. Has plenty of room for my laptop, binders, and text book. It's not to bulky, which I like. It's very comfortable for your shoulders also
