Not big enough for a junior high student. Cannot fit two three-ring binders with spirals. Pretty narrow toward the bottom. The shipping was a disaster also; arrived 4 days late.

Seems like a nice bag, I love the various pockets for organizing. It was the perfect size for my stuff. Unfortunately, the overall length and rigid back support construction of this backpack is too long for my torso, the bottom of the bag sits and digs on the bones of my lower back, just above my butt. It will go back.

I resisted this backpack for a long time because of the price, but when I finally felt one in person I couldn't wait to give my money to North Face. It has a lot of nice organizational details, is super sturdily constructed and holds a ton of stuff. Plus, after feeling how heavy my kiddos backpacks can get, the back padding is a must. I can tell this will last for years and years. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

Daughters school backpack

I ordered this backpack to function as a work backpack and a day pack for hiking trips. So far, it has been perfect at protecting my laptop and providing enough space for everything else I need in the day. I am excited to bring it on a day trip soon. I would highly recommend purchasing it!

The book bag was everything my granddaughter wanted. It's durable and very nice looking, she is excited to use it for middle school.

Great backpack for traveling with a laptop. Holds my 16" laptop, plus files, kindle, etc. Has a a couple handy zip pockets on top and front.

This is not very big for school in my opinion, the mesh ripped when I just put a small BOOK in it, now the whole mesh part is ruined. I promise I was not throwing my backpack around, I tried the be careful and I only had it for one year of school. I don't recommend now I have to find a new backpack

I use this backpack for school and trips. The front visible pocket now has loose threads, rips, and tears in it. The damage on the front happened fast and I expect it to get worse. I don't like wearing it now because people walking behind me can see that it's damaged. I'm a very good customer of the North Face and would not expect the quality of the front pocket to be so low.

I am a college student and have only ever used North Face backpacks!! The one I had previously still looks pristine after two years of use! It has the perfect amount of room for all of your books/electronics and the computer sleeve compartment is nice. The backpack is very aesthetically pleasing and well made.
