Very well made product, keeps my feet pretty warm as I work outdoors at the airport. The only issue I had was they felt a little roomy on me, I ordered a 7 which is my size but since it's the winter I don't mind so much since I usually wear 2 pairs of socks. But probably will have to buy a different pair for the summer time.

After trying on various boots in store, I was instantly pleased with this pair. I sized up after reading guidelines for buying hiking boots. After initially walking around in them, I was a little bothered by the crease in the toes but after putting on proper socks it was not a bother at all. I tried them out on a sandy 7.5 mile hike and they were fabulous, great support but could have used a little more cushioning in the sole.

So I received these boots as a graduation present because I now reside in Colorado for college, and I love the outdoors. There are a few specific reasons I rated them 4/5, so i'll explain. They are my first pair of hiking boots and I made a very rookie mistake in not breaking them in in the slightest before heading out on a medium/moderate terrain 7.5 mile hike. Literally took them out of the box and headed out to the mountains. I did notice right off the bat though that even though I don't have a high arch, the arch of my right foot was aching within half an hour of the trek from lack of support there. I brushed it off and realized too late that preparation should have been taken beforehand, so I didn't have to suffer through 5 hours of being on my feet with this. The crease did hurt my toes, although I did expect at least that since the leather/product is brand new and needs time to soften. My hiking socks are also Columbia brand since it's been my favorite for winter boots etc, but I will be looking for new socks with more cushion to help with the lack of arch support and overall cushion in the sole of the boot, as well as looking for in-soles for more support. I really enjoy the aesthetic of the boot, and wished there was more support in the soles, and that the tongue of the boot didn't stick out funny as it did after being laced up, which may have played a role in why i'm a little sore around the ankles as well; the boot itself was a smidgen loose around my ankle because of that. If you have more of a flat foot, are ready to spend a little more money on some in-soles, or are just looking for a good quality boot with less cushion, these are right for you. The omni-grip is amazing and I didn't slip once whilst scaling boulders and they were a breeze on uneven terrain. I also got size 6.5 (quarry/ blue wave) as I usually wear a size 6, and I have the perfect amount of space for thick socks. Overall I feel very hopeful with these boots and that'll i'll be able to break them in and modify them to fit my needs because in a few weeks I am planning a 14er mountain hike, and these boots have a good frame to my standards, and I would love to actually be comfortable in my boots. I hope this review is helpful!

I read the reviews in this page and decided to buy a number more than I usualy get (I`m a 6 and got a 6.5). I can`t use them, probably will have to sell them. Do not make this mistake. I`m very sad because I loved this boots, they seem to be very confortable and I won`t be able to use them.

I bought these to replace my favorite pair of "hiking" boots that I don't use for hiking, but for snowy & icy weather without having to wear full snow boots. These definitely fit the bill. The uppers were a little stiff at first, but are loosening up with wear.

Lightweight boot with a well padded tongue. I'm not certain how sturdy it will be, but it only has to last for one season. I bought the brown boots and the color a particularly ugly shade of brown if you care for such things. I do wish manufacturers would realize that just because someone's foot is long, it isn't necessarily wide.

Since I'm a beginner, I wanted a hiking boot that was less than $100 and decent to look at. This shoe was great for what I was looking for. Very comfortable. Nice gray color. Kept my feet warm in the very cold weather, and gave me good ankle support too. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

These are nice looking and flattering shoes. I'm an 11.5-12 and they don't look huge. As others said, there is a creasing at the toes, which I think would break in -- I noticed it more the first time I tried them on. They are very stiff, which also would probably break in, but I'm returning and trying the other Columbia hikers that look to have more give.

I bought this boot for weekend hiking, but it fits perfect as an everyday boot for fall/winter. I use number 8.5 but bought it 9. It runs a little bit small. Even for me, I have a narrow/thin foot. Very comfortable and very good material.

These are well-made hiking boots and I really wanted to like them. I kept trying them on and walking around the house with thinner and thinner socks. They were still not wide enough, so they are going back.

I also noticed how it creased and pressed on the toe area but with a little time and some mink oil in the area it will be fine. Today we walked about 2 miles down by a small lake and up over rocks and through a dry creek bed. They are breaking in very quickly. They are very comfortable for my feet so I guess I made the right call. That crease on the toe did worry me but is going to be okay.

These hiking boots are cute, and kept my feet dry when hiking in wet grass. The boot did crease and bend in on my toes, but did not hurt, or affect my hiking in any way. After they were broken in you don't even notice they crease. Also, the design of the boot made my foot look smaller! Great ankle support as well. Overall, nice boot!

Women's wides are not wide enough. My toes squished together which ultimately would be painful. Had to return.

these shoes are super cute and over all pretty good. they are a bit stiff and sometimes the top makes a crease on your toes which can cause some pressure there. they also run a little small so i would maybe size up half a size if you’re between sizes.

I ordered these after reading the great reviews, and I think they would've made sturdy and long-lasting hiking boots; however, I ordered my traditional size of 5.5 and they were too big. The boot creased down on my big toe when I walked and it was very uncomfortable. I was sad to return them, because they're so cute, and maybe they'd work with thick socks. But if you're not hiking in a cold climate, maybe order half a size down.

I liked the overall look of this boot, and the fact it came in Black W. Comfortable flex and secure stepping on carpeted floors, but I found that the shaft rubbed against my ankle bone—there was no way to tighten up the lacing so the boot held my foot securely without rubbing (even with thicker socks and a slim arch-support orthotic). Returning because I need boots for rocky trails.
I'd also recommend:
