Very comfortable. I use them with high-ankle socks. Love them! Water proof is real.

Originally bought these for a trip to the western USA. Decided to break them in a bit by wearing them around. Took them to a beautiful disc golf course on a super rainy, flooded day. These babies held up so well. Waterproof for sure! Fairly comfortable if tied tightly and with longer socks. I had no issues with them! I look forward to taking them out west and seeing how they do.

I buy these for daily use and I'm about to buy my third pair because I've about worn a hole in my current pair. My absolute favorite shoes for daily use and hiking.

Great boots! Hiked all over Yellowstone, boots supported my bad ankle and kept my feet dry in the mud, and did not slip on the snow.

These are comfortable from initial try on. Taking these babies out on a two week camping excursion with the family. They are easy to put on, not too heavy considering that they are hiking boots. I love the color vibe and they will be going with my hiking "color story." My husband is laughing about it but hey, the vibe matters. Happy with the purchase and the price.

I have shark blue in same size and those fit great. I ordered these green ones in wide, and they are much bigger in length, a size too big.

I don't normally order a wide, but I have bunions so thought I'd try after reading other reviews. Happy I did, because they are a perfect fit! Just enough extra in the toe box but not to wide in the ankle/ heel. I will probably swap out an insole with an arch for even better support ( they still fit well with these in). Have not tried them yet as I just broke my foot, but looking forward to getting out there in these! I think they will provide the support I need getting back into hiking. Absolutely over the moon about the fun color too!

So comfortable and sturdy. Fit is perfect. Ordered my standard size 6 for closed to shoes and they couldn't fit better. Wore them all day without any discomfort. Highly recommend for hiking or as a work boot.

I was a little nervous to order online without trying on but I decided to go for it. I'm usually a 7-7.5 depending on the shoe and these run 100% true to size! I ordered a 7.5 and they fit perfectly. I have really slender feet so there's a little bit of wiggle room but they are still very supportive. I'll definitely able to wear a thicker sock in the colder season without issues. Now I can't wait to get out on a hike with these!

I purchased my first pair of Newton Ridges last year. I needed them for work as my job involved hiking every day into remote areas in Yosemite's rocky terrain. These shoes were put through the wringer, serving as my main shoes through flood evacuations, working in blizzards, wild fires and evacuations. I can definitely attest to the waterproofing capabilities, even as I had my doubts upon first glance. Obviously not for deep snow, but the sole grip on these is great, and the shoe does not feel heavy-when you're exhausted with more terrain to cover, you become acutely aware of sensations like the weight of your shoes as you lift your feet to walk(strange but true).I'm normally a women's 9.5 bought 10's. If you buy a 1/2 size up, you're going to have to wear thick socks (ex. Balega socks) If you usually wear the lighter socks (smartwool's, standard no-show socks, etc) I would recommend ordering your true size. These lasted me about 6 months, because I used them every day in backcountry conditions so I wore down the soles and 2 pairs of laces pretty quickly. For your average hiking normal use, they'll last you way longer. For the quality, I can't believe these are priced so reasonably. Highly recommend!

I'm a size 8.5 in virtually every shoe brand I've tried (Steve Madden, Brooks, etc). Bought these for a hiking trip, these didn't give me any blisters from roughly 1.5 hours of hiking up the Sandia Peak in New Mexico (through mud, snow, etc). Fantastic traction.

I've been wearing these daily since they arrived a couple of weeks ago. I LOVE them. I did not have some of the other problems other reviewers had with the shoe pushing on the big toe. Odd thing about that, I have giant size 12 pudgy and wide feet and I've had no fit issues whatsoever. I had some foot fatigue the first day, then I remembered I had a pair of powerstep inserts so I swapped insoles and they are a perfect pair. Very comfy. Also the colors are dead on. The photo editor and photographer should be applauded.

I normally wear an 8, but I ordered 8.5. It's perfect for when you wear heavier socks. Very comfortable and there was no breaking-in period.

These boots are awesome. This is actually my 2nd time purchasing them. I had the first ones for about 5 years and wore them for daily walks until I finally wore them down, so came back for a second pair. I love them. I have a wide foot and the 8 wide fits me perfectly. They really are a comfortable, well fitting, durable, waterproof boot.

I am rough on boots, as I work outdoors a lot of the time. It is so nice to find boots in a smaller size that don't cost a fortune. I haven't tested them fully yet, but so far, my feet have stayed dry. Once I have worked the initial new stiffness out, I am sure they will feel even better. The only thing I am not crazy about is the laces, which seem to come untied easily- not a big deal.

This is my 2nd pair of these and I really like the way they fit and wear. I wear them in the woods and on paved surfaces. I tend to wear thick socks and it seems size runs smaller than standard, so I order up 1 full size.

Although these are not as wide in the toes as I would prefer they are quite comfortable. I only have mildly wide feet and purchased my shoes size in wide (8W) so if you have severely wide feet I'd say size up or try something else. I've hiked in them twice and did not need time to wear them in. No issues with blisters or discomfort.
