I stayed with my usual size for high wedges and I'm glad I did. This way you have room to customize this shoe with arch supports and other inserts. The blue is a lovely classic color. I also purchased the adobe (nude) patent leather from another shop. For women who aren't used to this high of a heel I encourage you to wear them around the house a bit each day before you decide to return them. You will use muscles you didn't know you had, but this style is worth it! The cork is very light weight and is a stable platform that you don't find in a high stiletto heel. I noticed after wearing these that when I wore my 3 inch stiletto heels they were much easier to walk in! It's sounds odd but practicing in heels does help, as I wear clogs all the time at the hospital. The style being closed (meaning no strappy heel or open toe) makes this a shoe you can wear more days of the year which with the price $ is a great option. And it goes well with everything, skirts, shorts, and skinny jeans. Zappos has great return shipping so give them a try!

Amazing! This is the most comfortable pair of shoes at this height that I have ever put on. The other reviews are right though, I went with my usual size 7½ and I need the 7. Now I will just have to wait for them to come back in stock! They are so beautiful, it will be painful to wait!

They are so very beautiful!!! They are true to size, at least the pair that I ordered. Saw some reviews prior to my purchase about running a bit large, but I ordered 7, which is what I usually wear, and they fit perfectly. Love the color and the height, and they are so comfortable even if you have to wear them for a long time. They go with causal and work outfits, no wonder Kate Middleton wore them so much during the 2012 London Olympics and Asian tour. I admire Kate's fashion sense so I ordered these wedges, but they are absolutely gorgeous, love love them!!!

I love them! While they were shipping out, I told myself that I was going to send these right back because of the height, but when I opened the box, I fell in love. They are so comfortable for being so high, and easy to walk in. I'm just going to get a pair of heel grips to prevent blisters. I went true to size and they fit fine. Thank you Zappos!

This shoe is fabulous but I did not find that they run a half size large. I read the reviews and ordered an 8 instead of an 8 1/2, and gosh darn it! They are too small and now I have to start all over again.

These shoes run half a size small. They are very cute despite being very stiff and heavy. Because of the platform, the heel hight is OK.

These are very cute shoes that give you a lot of height with relatively little discomfort. I am normally a 7. The 7's were huge, the 6.5's were a little tight- the shoes definitely run narrow. I went with the 6.5 and with a little shoe stretch they fit great.

These are gorgeous shoes. I wear a 6 and I thought these were a little big. However, if I went half a size down I think they would be too small. When I put inserts in, they were fine. As long as I do not speed walk in them (and why would I speed walk in heels?) the backs do not slip off. I am definitely going to walk around the house in them for a few more days to see how I ultimately feel. I want to make sure that they fit right with the inserts while my feet are shrunken in the morning and swollen in the afternoon.

I ordered these at the Stuart Weitzman trunk show in my normal size (7.5M) back in March. When I got them I was very disappointed that they ran large. The 7.5 was way too big. I always wear a size 7.5 in Stuart Weitzman so I was very surprised that these were too big. I tried using inserts and heel grippers to solve the problem but it didn't fix it completely. I tried to exchange them for a size 7 in the SW store but they did not have any in stock. When I saw that the 7 was available on Zappos I was thrilled. I got them the other day, only to find that they are not EXACTLY the same as the originals. The insole is cheap PU in pink, the counter is much stiffer, and there is no overlay with the silver grommet on the heel. Very disappointed SW is trying discretely changing the style. I would have given these a 5 star overall rating because I love the look of the style but they are not the same as the original.

I wear an 8W in Stuart Weitzman shoes. The 8W in this style was too narrow. Otherwise, a nice looking shoe I was sad to have to return.

The wedge is too high. This shoe runs about half a size bigger, not terribly comfortable for terribly high price.

These are the most beautiful and comfortable pair of wedges I've ever owned, they do run a half size big. I love them!!!

I wear a 6.5 and ordered the shoe in both 6.5 and 6. Like the other reviews noted, the 6.5 was WAY too big and the 6, since the heel is very high seemed a little big - I was worried the toe area would expand with wear. I ordered a 5.5 which was too small - especially in the toe area. So I returned both the 6.5 and 5.5 - thank you Zappos for making online shopping so easy and seamless! I've worn the shoes out a couple times and LOVE them - they are comfortable enough to walk on the streets of Manhattan (at least for a few blocks!).

Beautiful, classic, elegant, relatively comfortable. I am planning my spring/summer wardrobe around these shoes. I did feel a hot spot on the outside of my big left toe. I am hoping that breaking them in will help with that a little bit.

The shoes are great. I agree with others saying that they run large. They are the perfect height and shape. Well worth the splurge.

Thank you Zappos reviewers! Based on reviews here, I ordered a 7.5 instead of my usual 8 and they fit perfectly. If you are on the smaller end of your size, you might even need a full size down. There's a reason these shoes cost what they do; they are perfect. They are gorgeous. They are great all around shoes that aren't too dressy and aren't too casual. They are well made and fit like a glove.

I wanted to love these shoes. They were so stylish and sky high, but still seemed walkable. However, they were so narrow, they pinched my small toe. It was just too tight to bear. Gorgeous shoe for those with narrow feet. I went down 1/2 a size as recommended and ordered a 4M. The length was perfect, but the width actually felt like a narrow. I can't imagine what a 4N would be. Sad.

Shoes are nice! Not terribly comfortable, but I guess that was to be expected. They run a little big, so definitely go with the smaller size if you tend to fall in between sizes.

Great shoes. Very comfortable, very stylish. Was looking at these for a very long time and finally decided to splurge on them and so glad I did! I am sometimes a 9 sometimes a 9 1/2. Ordered a 9 and they were a perfect fit.

Great shoe, looked great on! I am returning though, due to size. 100% of the shoes in my closet are size 7 medium, I have the easiest foot to fit. These however are too narrow, the length toe to heel is normal, but my toes are squished. Other than that they are very comfy.

I've been dwelling over getting those (the blue ones) for a long time and finally made the decision to go for it. I am normally a size 9.5 or 10 but lately I've been consistently finding the size 10 as a better fit. So despite all the warnings from the other reviewers that those run big I decided to order a size 10. Well, I have to say -- I never expected a designer pair of shoes running THAT big. Those are seriously huge. You can even tell just by looking at them when you have them on (sometimes big shoes don't look that big)since there is space at the back of the shoes, the way a sibling's hand-me-down pair of shoes would look like while your feet grow into that size. That being said, the shoes are an absolute masterpiece! A piece of art and comfortable beyond belief. I was also hesitant to order them because I felt that at this heel height even if they were comfortable they might be too fancy to wear around here. I live in Massachusetts and people dress very conservatively here, even when dressed more towards a chic look women never look chic. Dress up is either trashy or very uptight (and frankly often very manly) but nothing in-between, a casual elegance with a kick to it is very rarely seen around here. Well, those are just that -- there is an understated elegance to them that makes them perfect for dressing up or down, just the way Kate Middleton has been wearing them and making them known to most of us. But it's strange because they are elegant but not too elegant, very high but not out of place. They are just perfect. The material and the blue color has a lot to do with this as well. So thanks to Zappos' free return I sent them back and ordered a pair in size 9.5 also medium. Hopefully they'll be just right. The other thing that was super-surprising was that indeed, they are extremely comfortable. I have no fear that I'll twist my ankles and fall while wearing them. They are well balanced. And very light. A true masterpiece in every way. Despite the size issue I'm giving them 5 stars overall because they are a stunning pair of shoes in every way.

These shoes are so versatile. They are very comfortable and look great with jeans or a dress. I would recommend ordering a half size smaller than your regular size. You will love these shoes!
