My son loved these. Wore them right out of the box in complete comfort. Arrived less than 24 hours after we ordered them.

My first pair of Doc Martens. Amazing fit. Worked well with orthopedic insoles.

I purchased the Dr. Martens 1460 8-tie boots for my teenage granddaughter for Christmas, and she was beyond thrilled. She put them on immediately and swore she may sleep in them! They were a huge hit!

Fit great, slightly wide but that’s to be expected in a unisex boot. Leather is very stiff and will need to be broken in slowly, as is the usual with Doc Martens. The look is awesome, love the all black stitching.

Bought as gift for daughter who is typically a size 8, sometimes an 8.5. I used the reviews as a guide to sizing and unfortunately it worked against my better judgment. I ordered the Mens 8/womens 9 for fear these were running small. She loved them, the very smooth & shiny leather, the all black heel and stitching, etc. but said they felt HUGE. She claimed possibly a whole size bigger. Since there are no half sizes, I am trying one size down to Mens 7/womens 8 and we shall see. Thank goodness for the free shipping and returns or I would probably opt for searching a store out. I did really appreciate how they arrived so quickly and on Christmas Eve!

I’m normally a 6.5 U.S in sneakers and sometimes a 6 in other footwear. The 5 fit just right with room for either thick or non thick socks. They are a bit stiff for the first couple times wearing them. I hope they get more comfy after breaking them in. They are awesome quality.

Fits true to size so get your size. Not comfortable like that cuz i mean it is a boot not orthopedics

So i got this today in the mail and i always have use size 9 on Dr martens until this one came along. The size 9 of this particula 1460 feels like a size 8 instead of a size 9. I have 2 dr martens size 9 and they fit like the suppose to. This ones not really. Sending them back.

Love these ! Purchased them in a women's 8 men's 7 and they fit me perfectly I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9 in certain styles so I went with an 8 since I read they run large and they were a perfect fit for me ! Love the mono black no other color on them very sleek

These were purchased for my 14 yr old daughter. I ordered her a women's size 8 & they fit with room(she usually wears an 8 to 8 1/2). She says they feel wide, but she usually wears converse, which are narrow. The ankle area is quite stiff right now, so she has issues walking up stairs in them. I am sure the leather will soften over time. She loves that they do not have the yellow stitching.

These boots are awesome! Order one size up if you follow UK measurements. I ordered a size 11 UK as I wear a 10 men's US. I love the all black look. I took a few walks to break in but they are only getting better the more I wear them. Zappos' shipping was fast as always which is great! I would definitely order again!

I got these for my 12 year old daughter for Civil Air Patrol. It was hard to find comfortable combat boots that met the requirements for CAP but these fit the bill. She loves them and is very particular about shoes.

I wear 10.5 medium in all shoes & boots. Rainboots sandals that are in full sizes only I go up too 11 with no problems. I bought the Dr. Martens in size 11 good fit for me. I found this mens chart on another site. For n-width half size order next size down. M-or w half size order next size up. I'm happy with the purchase they need few hours to break in.The color is more ox-blood than cherry red which is okay. I never owned pair Dr Martens and the reviews made me crazy. I did lot research with other retailers reviews were same to small to big. I'm a male and I wear 10.5 medium in all shoes, rainboots sandals that have whole sizes. I go up to 11 and no problems. I decided to go up too 11 what you know they fit. These boots do take few days to break in, first day I wouldn't recommend to work 8 hrs in them. They do break in quickly and the squeaky noise goes, away about hour of wear. I found this mans Dr. Martens foot chart after I ordered mine. Men for N-WIDTH HALF SIZE ORDER NEXT SIZE DOWN.FOR M-OR W WIDTH HALF SIZE ORDER NEXT SIZE UP. Nice fit. Can wear with anything! When you put those Dr. Martens on you will have everyone wanting them. Great pair of boots. Plan on buying every color. Patent leather such a classic look. Buy several pair while you're at it!

These were SO STIFF. And the leather was just shinier than I was expecting. They didn't really translate in person for me.

I was SO EXCITED and SO DETERMINED to make this work but they're just too small. The toe box is tighter than I expected, but I know that will stretch. Unfortunately the length is the fit problem - I measured my foot and went with the recommended size, but my toes hit the top of the boot. Of course in my excitement I tossed the box, so now I'm trying to pawn them off on my small-footed friends. Buying a size up AND KEEPING THE BOX.

I love the shoe, but, sadly, I have flat feet, and so, the area with the stitching across the top of the shoe, feels quite tight. And, I"m not sure its smart to go up a whole size. Wish there was a 1/2 size!

I'm a true 8.5 and have the Dr. Martens problem of size 8 being too short for my longer foot but size 9 feeling like clown shoes (too big). I try every few years hoping to find a pair that miraculously fit but they never do. Seems to me the company would greatly increase their customer base if they added half sizes. And no, innersoles and/or thick socks don't compensate enough for the extra length from sizing up.

They fit a little bigger than the 2976. I get heel slip wearing these even when laced tight. I wouldn't suggest sizing down though because Docs don't do .5 sizes.

Super excited to get these, but unfortunately the fit didn't work out after break-in. The boot quality and leather finish was spot-on and as expected from Dr. Martens. I wore them (x3) times and walked approximately 6-miles total in 'em. As expected, they loosened-up, far more than I'm accustomed too...think rain boot fit. I guess my visit to Dr. Martens after a 30+yr hiatus didn't prove successful. These poor older feet needed something better. Loved the look, but couldn't get past the fit. :(

Fit true to size I wear 11 in shoes and these boots are 11 fit great. But let me say how dope these all white docs are , real dope they look crisp with every outfit iv rocked them with. Dr martens should try doing all over colors as an item in future like all over royal blue I would def buy a pair js. Thanks zappos team for the plug.

Haven’t had a pair of Docs in over 30 years. Loved the concept of the mono color theme, but the materials seemed a little cheap and the grips on the sole too small. Haven’t used Zappos in a very long time but fantastic service, quick delivery and great customer care will be back.
