When I first put them on they felt a little narrower than most 4E's that I've worn from New Balance. All I had to do was loosen up the laces and they now they feel pretty good. Very comfortable shoes. Nice and snug. Will definitely purchase these shoes again in the future. I want to buy another pair in black (I bought the brown ones) right now, but it's a little more expensive than I normally buy.

I ordered half a size bigger after reading some comments and had to exchange it back to regular 11, so I would say it's true to size! I gave 1 star for style, because I personally do not like the look of these shoes. But my husband loved them! They are made for comfort and hard work! They are like heavy duty trucks and not terribly fashionable but certainly functional to do lots of walking! Fast to put on, easy to clean and really comfortable!

My husband's foot was swollen because of a blood clot, and these are the only shoes I have found that fit.

These shoes offer great support and comfort. I'm a big guy 6'5+", 330lb and need all the support I can get. I have long narrow feet with low arches and have trouble finding shoes that fit. I ordered both 14 and 15 sizes because many sports shoes run a bit small and these do. My last pair of New Balance MK706's also ran about 1/2 size small. These shoes have much more support than the MK706's ever did while remaining fairly light and very comfortable. Thanks New Balance for making shoes to cover the entire size spectrum. Also, thanks to Zappos for the quick, fair, and accurate service.

This is a super comfortable shoe. I wear a 15EEEE and have difficulty locating shoes that fit and with a high arch, it's even more difficult to find a comfortable fit. Zappos' excellent service got these to me right away, I put them on, wore them around the living room, and they were great. Have been wearing them regularly now with no aching feet or cramped toes. Highly recommended!

I have been a long time customer of Zappos and by far of all the shoes I have worn the 928 is the best of the best. Lot's of support, great for walking and good looking.

Great shoes. Use the shoes for work just like previous models. Feet do not hurt at the end of the day.

Just what I needed - a walking shoe that I can wear anywhere and still look good. Also, it was available in a narrow width, which I require. Very comfortable shoe, well made and at a reasonable price.

Been having a very hard time finding shoes wide enough for my feet. These fit the bill. They are a bit heavy compared to running shoes, and are a bit slippery in the wet, but with that said, I walk 3-4 miles a day, every day of the week, outdoors on concrete, and after a month, they show no signs of wear. I don't love that they are such a bright white, but they do the job.

This is the shoe company to use. They went out of there way to make sure I had what I wanted, needed and were wery helpful. No need to go anywhere else.

Iam just returning this pair because of the (my mistake) ordered the wrong size. I have since reordered the correct size and the shoe fits great! New Balance cannot be beat for sure fit from the box and are comfortable as heck to wear all day. New Balance is my work shoe of choice. thanks

This is my 4th pair of this shoe with the first being a 926, then 2 pair of 927's and now this 928. I've spent a small fortune on shoes looking for something that my flat arches could tolerate while being on my feet 10-12 hours a day on concrete. Bar none these New Balances are the best I have come across so far. A motion control shoe that provides plenty of lateral stability and arch support. Combine this with a Superfeet or Sole insole and you have just the ticket for anyone who has flat arches or over pronates. I also am unlucky enough to have a bunion and need a wide toe box for comfort. This shoe fixes that problem as well. I haven't worn all the shoes out there, but I'd be hard pressed to find a better fitting more comfortable shoe than the 928 or any of its predecessors. Worth every penny, in my opinion.

Great shoe. Great fit. I am a diabetic and have a few problems with my feet. This shoe is built the right way to give support and comfort. Zappos filled and shipped the order quickly.

I purchased these for my husband who has severe arthritis and these are the only shoes that are always comfortable. He has no complaints at all.

I purchased these for my Dad. He has ankle problems and even has to wear a brace on one of them. He loves these. They are super comfortable and provide great stability.

I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes helped a lot. Very comfortable. Only negative is that they are not waterproof. Toes get wet in the rain. For this price they should be waterproof.

I ordered these because they offered a narrow width which is very difficult to find in an athletic shoe. Actually I could not find availability in A New Balance store or at New Balance's website. Zappos had it!

I like New Balance shoes already, but I love the two velcro straps for ease of putting on and taking off...the sole is comfortable, like walking on air, and overall this shoe is sensational. I don't run or play sports in these, so I'm not sure about the support for those kind of activities but as far walking, traveling and wearing around the house...5 stars!

I was surprized how light these shoes are. My biggest concern was the amount of room I'll have for my toes to be free and comfortable, and they were. Great Walking Shoes.

Great shoes with great support and no break-in needed. Stand on a hard surface all day and the support makes these a great choice.
