At long last!
For the first time ever, I think, I have found a pair of sneakers which looks cute on a size 13.5 ladies foot. A decent, unisex, stylish, sexy and mega-comfortable shoe.
Alas, I am not a trail runner or a dedicated athlete of any kind, but I love these shoes and they will be my go-to brand for comfort, commuting and going to the gym.

These were the best and most comfortable style that Hoka ever made. They were durable and sturdy but soooo comfortable and provided a cushioned walk. I’m a nurse and stood on my feet almost the entire day. I wish I could find another pair that felt as good as these did. Why did Hoka stop making this style? It was perfect! I need another Hoka like this one.

Unbelievable. 25+ years of multi day racing and training has beat up this body. Running became painful. Had a couple of ultra distance runners that told me to try these. Divine. They take some getting used to - work up to long runs. The heel is lower - read more about it on the website. No more pain and long runs are back on the schedule.

I cannot say enough about these shoes. They really have changed my life. I had horrible foot pain (Morton's neuroma) that had gotten so bad that I could not run anymore, without excruciating pain. On a whim I went into a local running store and talked to the owner , he recommended and sold me my first pair of Hokas. Long story short I can now run as much as I like and my feet feel better then they have for years. Thanks, Hoka!

I got my Hokas and was scared and excited at the the same time. Are they going to fit because this was a last resort? They are awesome looking. I read the little instructions and wore them in the house. Comfortable like a glove. They are keepers. I went out to do errands and first to the post office. The lady walking out as I was walking in says, "I love your shoes." Hey, I tell her that I just got them and adore the shoe. Like walking on air let alone running. Replenish some of the popular colors.

Awesome shoe. Only shoe I can wear right now due to achilles issues. With this shoe I can run again!

What I'm going to write is pretty much what everyone else who's review the shoe on this site has already said. AWESOME SHOE!
In January of this year I went into my local trusted shoe store and explained to the salesperson that I was only interested in a shoe that provided maximum cushioning. ( I am a neutral runner although +220lbs at the time) I could not string back to back runs on consecutive days because the leg pain made it feel as if something was going to give. He told me that he had a solution that looked a little unconventional then showed me the HOKA Bondi B's I was a bit skeptical at first but that did not last long. Within a month I was logging 25 miles per week and now do roughly 35/week no problem. These shoes do what they advertise! I am now approx 195lbs and running a solid sub 9 min/mile at age 45. I can run like I did 15 years ago!

I'm really happy with these. I was a skeptic but they are a great tool for long runs with less impact. That first step out of bed in the mornings is not as bad as it had been after running in these for a couple weeks. PF sufferers- you know what I mean.

It looks like a bulky shoe but is anything but. Very light and not as tall as it appears. It is a nice bit of cushion but doesn't seem squishy. I have only put a few miles on them so far with just a few trail runs. So far so good. The only drawback I would say is the price. A bit steep as there are probably shoes just as good for a lot less.

LOVE these shoes!! The thicker soles provide great cushioning. It's like running on memory foam. All I can say is try a pair and you will be hooked. Before I switched to Hoka I had been wearing the same brand of shoes since 2006. The Hoka shoes are light years beyond anything I've ever seen. Can't say enough good things about them. My review says no arch support but I wear orthotics so it's a moot point. Without orthotics I'd say this is probably a neutral shoe.

These shoes rock! Kudos to Hoka One One! I had two knee injuries in the past year and a half - and I ran today with no pain at all! The only thing painful about my run was being out of breath from being horribly out of shape and 40lbs heavier from immobility. If you have any kind of joint injury and wish to become active again, give these a try. I won't guarantee they'll do the job for you since I don't know your situation, but they worked for me and reduced the impact to almost nothing. Yay for Hokas! And, no, I am not part of the Hokas sales team.

A friend who is a physical therapist and a runner recommended Hoka's. I'd been using New Balance running shoes (for walking, as recommended by my ortho doc, for extra cushioning), and had been happy with them, until I put the Hoka's on my feet! Love at first step! Expensive? Since they were only cheap a pair more than the New Balance shoes I was using, not really. The day I got them, I did a 3 mile walk on gravel trails. Not one blister, no knee or back pain! I'm converted! LOVE my Hoka's! And I keep thanking my friend for recommending them!

Awesome for trail running. Much lighter than they look. Maximalist outsole is like running on a monster truck. Easily bomb down hills and run over rocks and roots without feeling a thing.

Second pair, great shoe, older runner, has helped with minor knee pain. Well worth the money, very different feel, love this shoe, used on trail. Will buy again.

I bought these shoes because my sister loves hers. They are very comfortable and they come in a 10½ size, which I have never seen. I have wide feet and these seem to be wider than most. What I did not expect was compliments on their appearance, but my trainer loves them. They are very comfortable.

Bought this shoe last March and have been using it since. I have mixed in the use of other shoes as well - but this shoe has been a work horse for: Long run time, extended run days, and mildly tired legs days. I do mix in the Sportiva Vert K and Asics Fuji for runs up to an hour, with lots of climbing - beyond an hour, and with no concern about gnarliness of terrain, I use the EVOs. Fairly neutral shoe - no lump of an arch support and no pronation control stuff that I can notice. Shoe fits (for me) 3/4 size large - I almost went down a full size. Toe box is roomy, definitely not tight like their initial Bondi. And for me, an important feature is the non-agressive heel-cup area: Like La Sportiva, the EVO has a very mellow/mild cup in that zone which keeps the heel in place during climbs. I'm not sure how necessary these things are. La Sportiva barely has them, whereas many of the big companies place these deep padded shelf like structures at the heel in an attempt to keep the foot locked down. The EVOs don't irritate my heel with extended, multiple climbs. The speed laces: For me, the locking mechanism was the weak spot. With the height of these shoes, trail running will place more torque on the upper - the cinching mechanism wasn't bombproof for me. Replaced laces with NewBalance bubble laces. I got used to running with the Hokas with the Combo XT units over a 3 month duration. A runner's fit must be good with the EVOs - can't be loose. Yes, you can run over any rough stuff with these shoes with no problem. However, stay in control of your downhill running form: Every so often I'll switch to my lower profile shoes to mix it up because I'll start noticing a mild tension behind my patella if I've been using my EVOs for a 3+ weeks. Shoe construction is awesome - still have a little tread left from shoes I bought in March - no major tears.

These are very unusual shoes. I have worn a multitude of different running shoes and there is nothing else like these. Very roomy in the width and like wearing a bouncy cloud on my feet. I am experiencing a number of issues that leave me unable to wear pretty much anything else except these save for my Teva sandals. You gotta try them. I am a hiker and trail runner but have not tried these on trails due to current injury status.

LOVE THIS SHOE. If you have heel pain this shoe will help you enjoy running again. My feet were hurting every morning and then I started wearing the Stinson Evo. My knees had to get used to the extra height and the neutral pronation. I typically run 20-30 miles a week and with this shoe it is truly freakin' awesome.

I just want to echo the other excellent reviews/observations. I have severe plantar fasciitis and old knees. I took these right out of the box and off I went. I went on asphalt, gym, and off road. All surfaces were easy on my knees. My plantar fasciitis lessen right away. The shoe even looks good.

This year I ran the North Face Bear Mountain marathon(most technical trail race I have ever done), Ironman NYC/NJ, and the TransAlpine(8 day trail stage race) in these shoes. Ok, there are much more nimble shoes for trail running but for me, the cushioning and comfort of these shoes more than make up for it when doing longer distances. They also grip surprisingly well on slick surfaces. This was the first year I've been able to run significant mileage without injury. Not all, but much of the credit I believe is due to the Hokas. They might look a little dorky but your legs with thank you for wearing these.

I love my Hokas but they aren't for everyone. The higher heel naturally leans you forward and I like that as I am trying to improve my running form and run more on the balls of my feet. The cushioning is incredible especially for the technical trail runs. The trail sole maximizes traction. I feel like I am almost cheating when running downhill as the cushioning allows me to open it up BUT you have to pay attention to your foot placement and form!

This is my 2nd pair of Hoka One One. I also have the Bondi B. I run on sidewalks and roads, but also have to quickly jump into the grass from time to time so I thought I'd give this shoe a try. These shoes are truly heavenly. You can feel the cushion every step you take. It's like running on 3" of dense marshmallows. My feet feel great afterwards and they are so unique looking that I just love them! I'm not hooked on the quick laces, but haven't found a way to remove them to try out the standard laces that came with them. I'm a regular to high arch runner and these are a great shoe for me.

Great shoes for hard trails, I was concerned that I would turn an ankle in these but it has not been a problem, I run trails in the Portland OR area and have had knee and ankle issues like most runners, this summer Portland had an unusually dry period and the trails got rock hard, I saw these in a magazine and after a bit of a search was able to find them on-line, after trying them for a few weeks I bought another pair as well as a pair of the Mafate's for the small amount of hard surface running I do, i am a average to big guy '6 and 195 lbs and these will be my grab and go shoes for about anything, size is true and I do not care what they look like so their oddness is not a problem for me, I recommend them for large runners or people with joint issues

What an amazing shoe! I've been running regularly for over ten years and have tried almost every popular brand of shoe on the market during that time. But none of them can compare to the comfort of running in the a pair of Hoka One One's. All the little nagging aches and pains that I used to experience are gone and my running experience as a whole has improved. I would recommend Hoka's to anyone who wanted to enjoy running again. The Stinson model felt true to size but it took me a few runs to adjust to the lower drop and, especially, the speed laces (I had never used them before). Hoka's definitely feel different the first time you run in them, but, after three or four runs, they will feel completely natural and supremely comfortable.
