First pair of Five Tens I've owned do nothing to compare them to but I've been riding singletrack with them for a solid month or so and they are absolutely fantastic. Super comfortable. After a few rides they broke in rather nicely. I experience zero pain. Great support, heel and toe protected nicely from any rocks etc. pair these shoes with a good set of flat pedals and the grip you get is unreal. Took me a few sessions to get used to them because if you put your foot down and it's not the right place they grip so well you have to lift the shoe slightly to reposition. But once you get used to that they really do lock you in rather nicely. I was using my regular skate shoes before this and must say it's night and day difference. If you want to ride flat pedals, give these a shot. I don't think youlll be dissapounted.

Overall a good riding shoe with good support. Big issue was the soles left black marks all over my house, which means you can't wear these for riding and every day use....bummer.

Perfect fit, solid construction and super comfortable.

I ride dh and skate park with these . There great. I replace them about once a year when they get soft.

Excellent shoe for riding flats

These work great on my flat petal bike. It only took two rides to break them in. My best tip for sizing is the fit is similar to Adidas. I have a pair of Adidas golf shoes and the sizing matched perfectly.
