These are great shoes for hot weather and travel. Very lightweight and very comfortable. I got a half size larger and used padded innersoles which you will need if you are walking a lot.

This is not a serious walking shoe by itself. I got a sore spot under one foot after a 5 mile walk with socks. I have since put in orthotics which makes for a tighter fit in an already shallow shoe. I normally wear an 8.5E, but got a 9X(2E) because reviewers said they were a bit short. The 9X(2E) fits like a C/D for sure, but this may improve if washing them loosens the mesh. The mesh is very forgiving of corn or nail issues (I have a sensitive bump atop my pinky toe) because no rigid materials are on your upper foot.

These shoes are so comfy, and cute. Everybody loves them. The tongue of the shoe needs to be a little wider to accommodate my extra wide foot. It fits fine but my foot shows about a half inch where the tongue does not cover and may be uncomfortable for sensitive feet. I also added generic inserts for heel comfort and arch support.

Love these shoes - like walking in bedroom slippers. Very comfortable, soft and lightweight. Perfect for Florida weather. However, do not look to these shoes for long walks - they do not offer a lot of support.

These shoes make you feel like you are walking barefoot with a glove on your feet. I thought I needed a lot of support but these are great.

Overall, these are comfortable shoes, almost like wearing slippers. They are really lightweight, but there is very little cushioning on the bottom. I would not want to stand on a hard surface for a long time in these. They do not have a lot of arch support, but the little arch bump on the insole dug into my instep and was uncomfortable. My feet are pretty flat and wide. I may try to swap them out for different inserts. The shoes are made of mesh but they did not feel very well ventilated to me, they felt a little sweaty. I swapped out the bungees for proper shoe laces, like another reviewer suggested. The toggles and plastic bits on the bungees are very prominent. The extra wide width is great, my toes have plenty of room to stretch out. They are not perfect, but they are keepers.

The narrow fit was great but the shoe length was not quite long enough for me. I looked for an 11.5 but didn't see half sizes so I will have to return and try a different shoe.

I bought these shoes 11 months ago (my second pair) and I absolutely loved them. Unfortunately the construction of the sole allowed for segments of the sole to lift after about 7 months of wear. ShoeGoo took care of the problem, but after Gooing the soles several times I decided to buy Propet's TravelActiv sport shoe instead. In Propet's defense I wear the shoes constantly and they are very comfortable. I'm just getting tired of having sections of the soles come loose.

These shoes are nice & light and cool to wear because of the mesh uppers, but I usually only wear them when I'm in a hurry and want something that I can slip into quickly. I can't recommend them to anyone who will be on their feet for any length of time. The soles are lightweight but very thin, so there they have no real arch support or shock absorption.

Great light shoe for traveling. Unfortunately I have high arches and along with being a narrow fit the shoe ends up being tight.

I love these shoes for traveling because they are lightweight and slip n and off easily. HOWEVER, they have bungee-type laces, and these broke after only three months. I contacted Propet and Zappos to see if I could buy new ones. Propet never responded and Zappos told me to try a local shoe store because they don't have them. So you're on your own when it comes to replacing the laces. Otherwise, this would be a 5-star review.

These shoes fit well on my wide foot. They are light and the breathable mesh keeps my feet cool. They are great for around the house and trips to the store. The lack of arch support, however, is obvious on long walks.

There is absolutely no way that this shoe is a 2E width! I couldn't even get my foot into the shoe. Loved the look - very disappointed with the size!

Super cute, but they are so thin-soled and have no support. Not very good for any significant walking...despite the name. In the picture it looks like there is a thick rubber sole, but the cushioning is more like an old pair of Keds than a modern gym shoe.

Very light weight and perfect for travel. But their 2x wide really isn't very wide in the toe box, and I don't think it's able to be stretched. Returning the shoe.

I really wanted to love these shoes. I was really excited with all the reviews I read. Unfortunately, they did not have enough arch/heel support for my feet. My heel spurs act up. I was very sad to have to return these shoes. They are a very cute style.

These shoes are super comfortable. But I am returning them. Why? Because they are just too plain and it makes me feel like they are old lady shoes. So sad...hope I can find something as comfortable!

I bought these about a year ago and I'm really not enthused. However, I wore them the first time recently on a rainy day. I got out of the car to walk and my socks were instantly soaked. As soon as I could I checked the bottom of the shoes to see if somehow they were worn out. I found out something interesting. There are small pinholes in the bottom. They are water shoes. This is not mentioned in the shoe description. It was 43 degrees and I had errands to do on a rainy winter day. Couldn't wait to get home and put something warm and cozy on my feet. I'll try them again in the summer.

These are so comfortable I ordered several pair. The mesh had enough give at the toes for my extra wide feet. I put insoles in them to give them a little cushioning. If I were traveling in the city on sidewalks, I could wear them all day. They have two huge drawbacks here out in the country where I live. They pick up dirt with the tread. No matter how much I wipe my feet with the brush mat, they shed dirt on my floor for the next 24 hours. Since they would otherwise be the perfect boat shoes, this is a doubly bad defect as there is no practical way to clean a boat. As many others have mentioned, the second problem is that, if it is damp outside, your feet are wet all day. They are my most comfortable shoes, and I wear them a lot. But there are many many occasions where I don't go outdoors on a beautiful day because I don't want to keep changing my shoes. That shouldn't happen. I would ask the Propet people to make exactly the same shoe with a nubby rubber sole.

I have ordered 2 different sizes and both were too small. Normally I wear a 7 1/2 N. I tried 8 and 8 1/2. With the 8 1/2 my toes hit the end. Unfortunately, they do not have a 9N right now. I did love the style and the weight of the shoe for travel. I have such difficulty finding shoes for narrow feet. I love Zappos!

These shoes wore well until they passed the three month mark and the treads on the bottom separated from the sole. I didn't realize it until one day I was walking around at work and the rubber part that separated got caught and rolled under and I almost tripped and fell. Not good. They were very comfortable and I loved them until they started to fall apart. Poor quality is the reason I give them three stars. Sorry. Won't be buying these again.

The size was a little small. I wished that I had ordered half a size larger. Then the sole on the bottom started to peel off after two days of wear.

Loved the shoe, if only I didn't have to walk/stand. So light-weight, loved the "shoe strings", felt good on my feet. Then I wore them for an hour, around the house, and wasn't able to stand the pain in my knees and legs any longer. I'm still looking for something, anything, to replace the Washable Walker! Please, Propet, do that. This shoe just didn't provide enough support.

The mesh uppers are just too lightweight (as in they don't feel like they would be durable). Also, I really dislike the shiny toe.
