While this is not the athletic shoe I was searching for, it is an extremely comfortable "all day" type shoe. I have very painful, slightly wide feet with a high instep. I bought the wide width in a half size larger than usual and have plenty of room for my feet to spread out in without it being too loose. I will say, I was concerned that the thinner sole worried me as I was afraid I might feel the stones and sticks in the streets where I walk so I tested them today and had no problem with that. I really would prefer a stiffer sole for walking....these are very, very flexible...but it was still a reasonably comfortable walk and wearing them around the house all day was a pleasure. I usually wear Birkenstocks or Keens that I can slip off easily when my feet get too hot. These shoes were well enough ventilated that I didn't feel the need to take them off. Very nice shoe...especially for the price!

Wonderful walking shoe. It is lightweight, comes in many colors, packs easily, and can actually be worn in the evenings for a casual night out. Very comfortable and comes in wide sizes. Have used this shoe on many vacations.

These shoes are amazing! I have wide feet so I ordered the WW. They fit like a glove. Great support. Like walking on air. Wish they came in Navy or Purple.

I really love the feel of these shoes. They are light weight, comfortable, and the style is great. I especially love that they are breathable because of the mesh style. I normally just slip my shoes on without unlacing them. It drives my mom crazy, too. But I love these shoes because I do not have to deal with the shoe laces. It is very hard for me to find shoes that I like and are comfortable because I have wide feet. I have tried to find shoes at so many other stores online but I always ended up returning them because the sizes they say were off. But with Zappos, I do not have to worry. Their shoe sizes always seem to be spot on. I am definitely going to shop for my shoes at Zappos from now on and I am getting another pair of these shoes. Did I mention that I love them?

These are terrific sneakers. I got them before a vacation and wore them immediately -- no "break in" needed. Comfortable, light-weight, flexible, just the right amount of cushioning. This is my second pair of travel walkers -- and I'm sold. Will buy more colors as available in my size.

Totally love these shoes. Comfortable, cute, light-weight. They have zero arch support, so if that's important to you, use an insert (which is what I do). These are really great shoes. Highly recommend.

I love these shoes. I have not been able to wear a women's sneaker in about 20 years, just not wide enough. These ww are great, don't seem to run small to me. Since I take a 10 WW I have not been able to get all the colors I would like, only red and white so far. People stop me when I have the red ones on to ask where I got them. They also got a thumbs up from my foot doctor. Please, I would love to have the pale yellow, the light blue, maybe the coral. I have notification on, but its been a couple of months. Only problem is the tie with my high arch, gets kind of tough when my diabetic feet are swollen. Thinking of changing it out.

These are great when they’re new but they get beat up so quick even with just regular walking. They’re comfy at first too and then you start to notice the lack of support. I really wish these could stay the way the are when they’re brand new!

These sneakers are absolutely the best that I have ever worn. They are light, cool and comfortable on my poor, diabetic, nerve damaged feet. The pull string ties are easy and fast.

These shoes are darling! I ordered a 7 in extra wide, but they are a little too big. I would probably order a 6.5 next time. They are very lightweight, the tan and red are true to the picture as far as color goes, and they have removable soles for my orthotics. My one criticism is the shoes aren't particularly soft soled like an athletic shoe. If I have to stand for 6+ hours at work, I will wear my Brooks running shoes instead.

The shoe is very cute and very red. It's lightweight. It's comfortable. It's easy to get on and off. The toe box is wide enough. I don't find that it offers enough support so that I can wear it for hours at a time. I can wear it around the house and to the grocery store. That's it.

I would give these shoes 5 stars, because they really are great shoes, but they offer no support at all. Fortunately, I was prepared for that from reading other reviews. Immediately after trying them on, I pulled out the insoles and replaced them with my Orthaheel insoles, and they work perfectly.

Pros: Very light weight and comfortable except for comment below in Cons. Feel cool due to mesh type material. Cons: I didn't like the shiny toe covering and dulled it down with steel wool. Also I bought a different insole pad that was thicker and softer as the inner sole seems somewhat thin and I needed more padding on the soles of my feet. Probably made this way in order to make them light weight. Purchased them to lighten weight of luggage.

These are definitely the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They don't hurt, rub, pinch anywhere - like putting on socks only you can walk on rocks without hurting your feet. Only problem I've had is that the very bottom layer of tread came unglued in one spot and I glued it back on, so maybe they're not for some of the hiking I've been doing in them. Great for mall walking or work - normal everyday stuff.

These are great for the gym, but I didn't care for the shiny toes. An emory board and pumice stone took care of the problem in a few minutes. Probably true to width, but I could have used narrower.

This shoe is very light-weight and comfortable. The mesh design makes it a good summer shoe. I loved that the fact that it came with the bungee laces for easy on/off. The overall feel of the shoe was instantly comfortable except for the fact that I felt it was a fairly narrow shoe. I had to go up one size and width before my foot no longer felt pinched across the ball.

The sizing on these is either variable by color or growing increasingly smaller with each batch. I first bought a pair of Travel Walkers here in 2011 (before Travel Walker II). I got them in 7 wide, which has been the right size for me in Propet since I started ordering them in 2002. After not being sure how I felt about them, I started wearing them more as almost a 'barefoot' walking shoe in hot summer, and really liked them. So I ordered another pair in navy in 7W in July 2013, the Travel Walker II, and this pair was both slighty smaller and slightly narrower than the first pair, both by feel and compared to the first pair. They weren't exactly uncomfortable, but they were a little too tight for exercise walking. I ordered another pair last week in black in 7W, and these feel a full size shorter and narrower than the first pair, and are smaller again than the second pair compared sole to sole. I'm hoping going up to a 7.5W will do the trick but we'll see.
Apart from the sizing issues, which have arisen with other Propet shoes, and other shoe brands, increasingly lately, this is a good shoe. It looks pretty good, is comfortable to wear without socks so long as they fit correctly, and is well ventilate for cool wear in the summer. They're also washable, which is a wonderful thing. The lacing, which is a continuous elastic loop that's adjusted by a sliding lock button, is great! No laces flopping around (you can tuck the end under one of the lace crossovers), the fit is highly customizeable and the shoe is easy on/easy off without having to constantly readjust the laces.
It's true that this model doesn't have a lot of support, which was one of my first concerns, having problem feet. But I found that after I'd been walking for exercise for a few months and my feet got stronger, I preferred less aggressive arch support. These shoes have a removable insert that could be replaced with a purchased sport insole, and might even be able to accept thicker orthotics. I will be replacing the insoles in my first pair (ratty but the soles are still fine) just to extend the life a little. The sole and upper also stretch with your step, so if you like a snug-fitting shoe you might not like this. As mentioned, I go for exercise walks in these sometimes as a 'barefoot' changeup walk, to strengthen my feet and use more of the muscles in my calves. Two miles is my limit and I can't go as fast but I have found them beneficial.
Once I figure out the correct size on the current batch, I hope to enjoy these more in the warm months. They are very practical and comfortable, and if not exactly 'cool' (compared to my Vans, Pumas and the once-awesome Crocs Hovers) they are a decent-looking shoe with a good selection of colors. I've gotten a couple of positive comments on them.

Yes, it is the lightest shoe I've ever had. It's like walking barefoot, except that somehow, magically, there is arch support. The red is lovely, and the shoe is cool in summer. I wear 8.5 AAAA. There is room for an extra shoe liner, if one wishes. It is fine without socks also.

I purchased this particular shoe because after fracturing my pelvis and lumbar spine (prior to finishing physical therapy for the former, I needed a shoe that did not require tying, but would be easy to get into in order to exercise. This seemed to fit the bill. These are very comfortable shoes. The mesh top is great for my feet --leather or plastic is too warm. The shoes are flexible. The tie mechanism works for me because they are easy to put on and tighten without extended bending. My only problem with Propet is that the sole of the shoe wears out. The glue gives out, hence causing detachment from the shoe within a year, or as in the case of this (Propet Travel Walker II) within 6 months. I wish this style were available for the uppers and fast lacing down ability, but with soles that lasted for more than a year...even if they cost more money. Having to buy a second pair within 6 months makes for an expensive shoe.

I was so disappointed when these shoes arrived today because I CAN'T KEEP THEM! In most sandals I wear an 8 and in tennis shoes I wear an 8 1/2. My feet have several issues like 1 foot is smaller, 1 foot is wider, I have narrower heels and duck feet in front, higher arches, PF and big toes that tend to point up! Need I say more?
I purchased this shoe in an 8 1/2 2E and to me they ran short and not very wide. The upper portion of the shoe has lots of give but that doesn't make the footbed wider so it still really didn't feel wider to me. My toes on my wider foot were still pushing against the side of the shoe and uncomfortable.
As far as looks they are very cute and very similar to the Skechers Go Walk. Very light and if they fit you they should be comfy. I don't see any arch support at all unless you put in your own. The footbed is flat with just the regular flimsy removable liner. I was planning to use my orthotic and they did fit inside.
Now I have to decide whether to try a larger size. Since Zappos has free shipping I probably will try it.

Like the style and comfort. Shoe runs a little short so had to order a half size larger than normal. When walking or standing for long periods I use my orthotic inserts in shoe.

For a sneaker, this is fairly trim looking, not bulky like many sneakers. Because the body of the shoe is soft mesh it doesn't press on any problem projections, like bunions, hammer toes, etc. that many of us have as we get older. There is less "spring" to the sole than other sneakers, but overall comfortable to wear for extended periods.
