I bought these specifically because I have wide calves and they fit! I must have ordered at least nine other pairs and sent them back before finding these. They are beautiful! The lacing in back allows me to loosen or tighten them so I can make them perfect with jeans tucked in or over leggings or tights. The leather is very soft so they are really comfortable! As always, I ordered them on Thursday and received them on Friday. I love Zappos!

So cute! Love these. Wish they fit. Too wide at top. I'm 5'4", 116 and exercise regularly. I laced them up tightly but had about 2-3" extra width at top in the back. Wanted to wear them with skirts and dresses.

Really fantastic boots, the ones I've been seeking forever. I have big, short calves, rendering most knee-high boots impossible. Not the Wolky Pardo. The fit beautifully and are super cute. The lacing down the back of the shaft makes the circumference expand significantly. There is a leather flap under the lacing, giving a clean, gap-free appearance. I could also adjust the lacing at all points of my calf, giving the perfect fit. And you can easily adjust the lacing, making the boots wearable regardless of what's on your leg. The leather is beautiful, excellent quality. It has enough heft to give structure but supple enough to feel luxurious. Very cute styling as well. The stitching on the sole adds interest and the grey is exactly the perfect shade I've been chasing. Regarding sizing. I wear a size 6.5 in almost every brand and style of shoe. Other customers said these had odd sizing and that you should order up. Then it seems like the Zappos team changed the usual Euro sizing chart to reflect the odd sizing of the boot. I ordered both my size as usually defined by Euro sizing, a 37, and a size up as reflected on the Zappos size chart and suggested by other buyers, a 38. The 37 fit perfectly and the 38 was substantially too large. I love this boot so much that I'm considering buying a second pair in black. Totally worth the price, especially when considering how maddeningly hard it is for me to find knee-high boots.

They easily fit over my calves with room to spare thanks to the lacing in the back of the boot. Comfortable boot with good insole. I ordered a 40 which Zappos said was equivalent to size 9 (usually a 39 equals a size 9). The boots were way too big. Going to return them for the smaller size and black instead of brown.

These are incredibly comfortable boots which actually fit my wide calves even with my jeans tucked into them. I was able to adjust the laces on the back to make them comfortable. I had expected they would be too casual to wear with skirts, but the lacing really ups the style factor and makes them look very feminine. I ordered them last night around 10:30 pm and they were at my door by 3:30 pm today. Way to go, Zappos!

Beautiful boots made out of beautiful quality leather. The icing on the cake and they fit my muscular calves!

These boots are nice. Good quality leather and stitching. The string holes should have been reinforced since it seems like they might tear over time. But I am keeping them. I have wide calves (15 circumference in a size 7) and skinny ankles and it is nearly impossible to find a good fight in a tall boot. These boots are great to accommodate both with the lacing up the back. Also, the Zappos sizing seemed off. I always where a size 37 or 7 (which Zappos has listed as a 6) and that is what I ordered and it fit as usual. There was a slight piece of material that looked unglued inside the boot but I think this was a glitch and my cobbler should be able to glue it back.

These are beautiful! I had pined over these for a couple of years and finally made the decision to buy. I am not disappointed. Beautiful leather and I love the detail of the lacing on the back. It will make it easy to adjust whether I'm tucking in jeans or just wearing with tights. Classic style, very comfortable. Love them!

These are my holy grail knee high boots! I'm 5'1", with slightly large calves, but most wide calf boots don't fit because they're made for women with longer legs. These let me custom-fit the curve of my leg, and are not only flattering and sexy, but so, so comfortable. The laces don't slip at all (though I've had a couple issues with the bow at the top coming untied). I haven't tried adjusting to fit over skinny jeans yet, but I can tell it won't be a problem. Love these - absolutely worth the price!

Nice leather quality and color (I have been looking for a grey boot)and liked the heel height. Did not like the way the stitching on back looked after trying it on-- loop holes not close so the back is all stitching).

I can't believe the quality and look of these boots. I hesitated a bit at the price, but the boot was totally worth it. Fits my wide calves perfectly, due to the laces at the back, and totally adjustable for either tights or skinny jeans. Highly suggest these to anyone with hard to fit calves.

This boot is adorable! I'm 6' tall with muscular calves and they fit me perfectly. I would highly recommend.

I ordered this because of the adjustability factor, but I really didn't like the boot. I felt the leather was too heavy, the cording in the back was a nuisance to adjust and I didn't like the look of it and I found the footbed uncomfortable. I wear a 10.5 and ordered an 11 - which was fine, except too loose in the heel. My calves are 16.5, and this was fine for adjusting. So, I think it comes down to taste and what kind of footbed suits you.

I absolutely loved these boots for the first two months...then the right boot fell apart. The glue between the sole and the shoe (the stitching on the sole is clearly just for looks) completely let go while I was walking through the grocery store. For over this cost, I expect a boot that lasts more than 6 weeks. I will try to get these repaired, but I will never purchase shoes from this company again.

I've had these boots for about 2-3 months and I love them. They are very comfortable. They fit my slightly-wider-than-average calfs just great. The laces in the back have to be tied in a double-knot or they may come loose while walking around. The leather looks very nice.

These are gorgeous in person and very well-made. The gray is a beautiful color and a very interesting neutral. I thought these might be very casual, but the quality of the leather and design of the outsole make them workable for lots of business casual looks. I didn't think I'd be a fan of the laces, but they look great on and it gives the boots some interest. I have skinny legs and most boots are too wide in the calves for me, but these fit well with just a bit of room to spare and yet could easily be expanded several inches to accommodate many different calf widths. I typically wear a 37 (6.5-7) and Zappos is correct that this pair of 37s fits more like a size 6. I could get them on but they crunched my toes. Sadly the 38 isn't available, so they're going back.

These are the only boots that will fit my large calves. The laces allow me to adjust depending on the type of pants I wear. The leather is great quality and gets softer over time. I own several different colors and plan to get more.

I have had these boots for a little over a year and they are holding up well. Granted, they are not my every day go-to boots because the style is so unique. Basically, I don't feel like I can wear them all the time, but rather that they are a great accent for an outfit sometimes. Style aside, they are quite comfortable, run true to size, and if the world ended and I had to look badass to survive these might be the boots I grab.

These are my second pair...not because my first fell apart but because they are the BEST boots I've ever purchased! Beautiful! Wear well, perfect my thick calves, and this color goes with everything! Love them!

Gorgeous! The adjustable lacing and back-facing independent tongue give you any calf configuration you might wanna muster. I normally wear a 10--went for the 42 and they are PERFECT. I don't have super wide calves but I'm 5'11 (your typical, garden-variety Amazon.) I also have wide foot ball with incredibly high arches and my feet aren't terribly long, so it's nearly impossible for me to find boots (other than Fryes and Ariats) that fit my funky combo-platter of needs. On me, these are snug in the footbed but not tight. They are in no way sloppy in the ankle. I HATE sloppy faux-cankle boots like Uggs, and these are the anti-Ugg. Tailored enough for the office, but casual enough not to feel like a dork afterwards at your favorite dive bar. I got the grey and liked them so much I doubled down and got the black. One other thing to note, the sculpted toe is beautiful. These boot RULE.

Good quality boot - nice leather, all the big calf talk can be disregarded these lace in back and adjust. a little below knee for me so sadly returning.

The boots are very cute. The leather is soft and flexible, and the laces on the back make it so you can adjust to over skinny jeans or thicker socks--or if you just have a wider calf. I love that flexibility. The footbed fits well, but is a little hard if you walk on it a long time. They are well made.

Classic lines. Fun and useful laces. Seemingly solid soles for snowy weather. Gorgeous leather in and out. Pricier than I'd normally invest but I wore my last pair of tall black boots for 6 years. I think these will last at least as long.

Yes!!! Total LOVE with this boot. I am 5'5ish but have short legs that are athletic. This boot not only fits around my calves thanks to the flexible lace it also is not too tall! I also have a high instep and sometimes this makes boots hard to get in/out of - but because of the zipper- these are no problem and are not tight across my instep. Once you get the laces the way you want them, you just leave them and put them on & off with the zipper. The vintage grey color is perfect - very neutral and worn just enough. I may be back next fall to get the black. Don't hesitate - this is a GREAT boot. p.s. - people stop me every time I wear them to ask where I got them. Zappos - you are the best!

These are one of the best pairs of boots I've ever purchased. So cute and very comfy. I have a larger calf - not quite super wide and not quite regular and they work great. You can adjust the back to allow for some room where you need it without getting any slouch, and to allow for different thickness of pants. Would definitely recommend!
