I love the look of these sandals and the basic comfort. Unfortunately, the hard plastic edge hits the side of my feet so it hurts when I walk. Otherwise, I would have kept them. I may order a size larger but I think that they will be too large.

They are so cute and the basic sole is very comfortable; however the plastic around the foot cushion is not protected by the cushion and the edge dug into my foot. I was sorry that I had to return these.

I ordered these shoes not only because they are so great-looking, but also because of all the good reviews. I need an attractive shoe that I can wear with a dress and walk all over Italy in. Sadly, these shoes are not the ones. The front top of the leather band cuts into the tops of my big toes, and the way it's sewn to the sole makes a crease which pushes into the side of my foot. The back elastic part of it fits fine. I am a classic size 7 Medium, so I don't think the problem is my foot. They are also very squeaky to walk in! Sadly, I will have to send these back.

I walked all over Israel for two weeks in these, and from day one they were so comfortable I hardly knew I was wearing shoes! They never needed breaking in. I got the smoke color and loved how they went with everything, and at the end of the day I could dust them off and wear them out to dinner. I took other sandals with me but never wore them. Two years later they are holding up beautifully and are still the only sandals I wear all summer. Highly recommend!

These are super cute. I wore them all day the first time I wore them, and they were very comfortable all day. I have narrow feet, and they fit my feet well without large gaps. I would have liked more arch support. There is a hint of arch support, but the area under the arch is squishy and doesn't provide actual arch support. I have overpronation and my ankles turn in quite a bit, so I wouldn't wear these every day, but they are fine for occasional use.

I wanted to keep these so bad. they are THE CUTEST sandal in style and "not the norm" look, SUPER dressy, yet casual for a festival or outdoor picnic. Probably sturdy enough to take a short hike. BUT...they are just not as comfortable as I need for my achy feet. The straps seem made for a narrow foot, and as they are elastic, they are tight without an adjustment. (think of a "pair of elastic pants that are a size too small", but on your foot instead of your waist). OUCH! Also, as far as size --it seems that the 7-7.5 runs small. It feels more like a true size 7. I am a 7.5 in most shoes, and I believe that I could have gone with the 8. Maybe in an 8 the elastic straps would be looser...IDK...but I am not going to try. I have a side nerve foot injury and I have to use a sandal that does not "rub" against the upper outer side. These certainly worked for that! No rubbing, but the elastic is just too tight, making it uncomfortable at the upper part of the foot and the front. Sort of feels like my foot is wrapped in medical compression tape. That part makes the sandal feel sturdy and snug. Just doesn't work for what I need, comfortable and semi-loose, not vice-grip (I wish the straps were adjustable. That could have worked perfectly.) Probably good for feet that aren't puffy and a bit swollen (like mine). They do squeek when walking, but not too obnoxious like some others. That would be tolerable if all else worked for me. One thing on a VERY positive...the foot bed is so comfy and cushiony, and it feels like the type of material that would eventually mold to the foot. In that respect for sure I wish I could have kept them.but alas! thanks to Zappos, I will try something else.

I purchased this shoe in the same size and width about 2 years ago. This shoe is considerably shorter and narrower than what I had.

These sandals were super cute, but, as others have noted, the plastic edging on the side of the shoes cut into my foot. I have a narrow foot, so this is just a design flaw. It doesn't stick up on the heel, so I'm not sure why it's like that on the sides. Going Back.

Love this shoe, a little tight at first but after an hour it was perfect fit

A cute sandal with a nicely molded, supportive sole makes it a good all-day warm-weather choice. It can go day to evening. The decorative ring could be a bit abrasive on a long humid day, but I haven't had that experience yet. The design of the straps keeps it on the foot.

I ordered the blue ones (Jeans color) but black ones came.

This is my second pair after two seasons with the first. They are comfortable, go with jeans and dresses. I get lots of compliments when I wear them too! ;-)

The first time I wore these was scampering through the airport trying to catch a plane. They are very comfortable!

I read previously posted reviews before purchasing the sandal. I am happy to say that it is comfortable to wear. It is also a nice addition to my wardrobe.

Never had "out of the box" success until this shoe. Have been wearing Reiker for years and this takes the prize. I wish it came in more colors. My fussy feet always prefer Rieker.

These shoes are so comfortable and I always get a lot of compliments on them. Always.I love the comfort of the elastic strap, and really like the metallic design to subtlety add a bit of patterning and texture to my outfit.

I have had these in black, denim, and smoke for years. I wear them out and reorder! I will soon be ordering for the third time. The only shoes I've ever loved enough for this crazy behavior. Lest you think they don't last--not true, they simply have become my go to shoes and I wear them constantly. Having said that, it is the elastic piece in the front that wears out first. For travel, they're incredible. when you need something that looks nice but that can handle cobblestones by day and nice restaurants by night. They go with everything, they're super comfortable, and I get compliments on them all the time. I will say that I have noticed a slight difference in quality over the 8 years that I've been buying them, in that the upper is not as supple as it was on the first pairs I owned. All in all, I am still a fan.

I have been wearing this style and brand for many years. They are comfortable, stylish and Received many compliments. While initially they may dig into your foot, after breaking them in, they are really comfortable .

I love these sandals. Purchased them in navy blue last year and they are my daily comfort sandals all summer long. They are extremely comfortable and the insole is nice and soft. Quality of construction and materials in great!

I loved them for a year but be aware that the elastic wears out and then they begin falling off your feet. For $108 bucks you'd think they replace the elastic with a material that can stand the wear over time. Really disappointing.

This filled the bill for a comfortable, stylish casual shoe. I wore it the day after it arrived, and walked in it quite a bit with no problems. I didn't experience any rubbing where the ring is that some other reviewers mentioned. The fit (my normal is 9.5 M) was pretty true to size. If you're a tweener, you can probably size down a half size. (I could have exchanged for a 9 but I'm still having some post-surgical swelling.) I did experience the rough edge on inside of the right shoe but it didn't detract from my overall experience. Cute, comfortable and reasonably price. I'm good!

Even though they feel a bit smaller, they still fit perfectly! This is the prettiest sandal ; looks so good but more importantly, they feel great! I love Rieker's styles...this is the second pair of Riekers for me in two weeks! From the beads and colorful adornments to the flowered fabric inside on my other pair. Some other reviewer said they made her feet smile, and I do agree!

These sandals are very pretty; quite classy and should be comfortable. I loved the look, and the fit. Thought they would be comfortable because they felt really good when first putting my feet into the sandal. However, after wearing them around inside for just a couple of hours one evening when we had guests over, I found that the round, metal decoration that holds the elastic strap pressed too much on the upper part of my foot and became extremely uncomfortable. I don't think I could wear these unless I put some buffer tape or something between my foot and the metal decoration. This of course would show anyway, but at this price not an acceptable alternative even if a buffer did not show. It really is too bad because they are a very classy looking sandal - I loved them and got compliments from a couple of guests. Sorry to have to return.

I have narrow feet and yet these worked for me. Very pretty.
