Ok. Was this shoe adorable? YES! Was it super comfortable? YES! BUT I wore it about eight times and the wonderful embellishments started coming off. I am sorry to say that I feel that I must return them. This just should not happen with shoes of this quality, reputation and price.

Unfortunately these sandals, though adorable, do not have sufficient padding towards the front of the shoe. For short periods of time they may be comfortable but for longer walks in city or sight seeing I do not think that they would cut it. At this price I would like to be assured of comfort throughout the day. They are going back.

I have other Rieker shoes, and they're comfortable, but on this sandal the toe box is a little narrow for my foot. It rubs a sore place if I wear them for more than an hour.

Pain - that is the word that I use to describe these. The footbed is so comfortable, and the style so cute, that I made the mistake of wearing them out, and then could not return them. There are so many problems with these sandals. The strap rubbed against the side of my foot, causing pain. The metal ring rubbed against the top of my foot, causing pain. I have never had such pain from sandals. One reviewer said, for the people having pain, you need a size bigger, but I do not agree; a bigger size would be too long.

These shoes are painful. They are attractive, and the footbed is wonderful. But the straps cute into my feet, and the metal ring - ouch. I had to put tissue between the ring and my foot just to get me through the day, it was so incredibly painful. I'm sad that I wore them outside the house, because I could not return them. I'm going to see if I can stretch them out a bit by wearing socks, but I'm not happy with this purchase. Too bad, because I have several pairs of Riekers and they are usually heaven to wear.

The heel strap position is just beneath the ankle bone. Just trying them on and walking on the carpet caused the strap to rub in this position and I knew I wouldn’t be able to walk any distance without causing a blister. I love this shoes but unfortunately have to send them back.

These reminded me a bit of Stride Rite sandals that my 5-8 year old nieces wear. They were very wide cut and the glitter was very glittery.
