This is a great-designed shoe, with one of best fits for me, with one fatal flaw - the arch support is in the wrong place. It's too far back, it's digging into my heel. I will try other models.

Uppers did not last... giving out on both the outside hinge area where toe and foot pad bends, and along sides of both shoes. While this bending junction is where most of my shoes fail first, the sides coming apart (not unglued - material failure) is not. Soles hard to tell about due to relative short time for uppers to come apart. Fit was true to size. Would not recommend this for life off the pavement, mall, nor out of doors. Rated two stars - because for first two months they appeared to be (nearly) as good as other Vasque shoes or boots.

I hiked in the Vasque Mantra 2.0 less than 3 months and already am having the tell-tale flip-flop sound of some part of the sole coming loose in the right shoe. I usually don’t get this until after years of hard use. Very disappointed - this will be my last Vasque purchase.
