I had never worn this name brand prior to this purchase. I have several injuries to one foot causing me constant numbness in one toe and difficulties with my instep. this shoe allowed my foot to feel none of these issues while walking. This sandal is not my look so I am sending it back but I will definitely purchase this brand again!

I became familiar with Alegria shoes several years ago. They are by far the best, most comfortable shoe ever! I have both the shoes in several styles, and the sandals. I have arthritis and with this shoe I can walk for long periods of time without pain. I would recommend these shoes for everyone. Several of my friends have tried them and loved them. People stop me in stores, airports, garden centers and wherever I go to ask about my shoes. I wear them with comfort and pride.

These shoes look nicer in real life than in the picture. I wear an 8.5, sometimes a 9 to accommodate custom orthotics or just allow for my bunion. I ordered a 39 in this style, even though the Alegria chart says I should order a 38. These definitely are a bit longer and wider than the Alegria Verona model. This model fits closer to a size 9/40 than a most other brands "39" but I still am glad I got the larger size. They might end up being wide if the leather stretches, but in the meantime, they can handle my orthotic, or, if I leave in the original footbed, they can handle my bunion protector and foot taping (yeah, my feet are horrible) and are SUPER comfortable. I am wearing them for the first time today and I've schlepped all over philly sidewalks and my feet feel fine. They really protect the bottom of your feet - no pain from pounding, no arch pain, no chafing because you can adjust all the straps.

Best sandals EVER! I bought these earlier this spring and have been wearing them all summer. I have wide feet with one foot bigger than the other; the adjustable straps compensated for that. I worried about the straps chafing my feet on warm days. No worries! I took them with me to Taos, NM and walked all over town on a warm day and my feet were more comfortable than they ever have been in any sandal I've ever owned. No kidding! That includes Keens, Chacos, and Birkenstocks. The foot bed really cushions and the straps keep you secure. Absolutely love these!!!

I bought these for my 33 year-old daughter, who has many pairs of the Alegrias, and she loved them. She's a nurse so is on her feet a lot and says they are the most comfortable shoes she's ever worn. Good quality, good fit.

This is my second pair of Kleo's. Perfect! Wish there were more colors. One of the most comfortable sandals I have had.

I love this sandal for the comfort, arch support, overall foot support, and super cute style. The adjustable straps allow you to find the perfect fit. This is my second pair of Algeria sandals. I bought the first pair last summer in Sedona while on vacation in the Carina style and couldn't wait to get another pair for this summer! I purchased the special serpent and am going to place another order for the white pastel passion in the same style. You can't go wrong with Algeria, especially if you like comfort and cute all in one very well made sandal! I appreciate Zappos' customer service. I received my sandals a few days after placing my order.

I have plantars fasciitis so I love the arch support. It's great not to us an orthotic insert. I gave the style only 4 stars because the buckle strap is taking a little bit of adjusting to.

I had really wanted the Carina Brown Pull-up. But it was not as comfortable as I hoped. I returned it and ordered this shoe. It is a perfect fit. I hesitated at first because of so many straps, but for walking long distances, this sandal cannot be beat. I would recommend it to others.

The stitching in front of the shoe did not catch the material the foot rests on. Fortunately, I ordered 2 sizes and can use the 41.

These shoes are fantastic! I had admired this brand for a long time based on reviews I had read. After a disappointing first attempt (mismatched sizes in the box) I was thrilled to find another pair come available. They were definitely worth the wait...one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever owned! Customer service was fantastic as well - I will order from Zappos again.

These sandals are incredible. They're comfortable, they're beautiful. They can be worn all day and are lovely for a night out. They give excellent support which makes it possible to wear them for hours and hours. I hesitated to spend so much on a sandal, but I am not sorry.

I have been looking for a pair of comfortable and sturdy sandals to wear all day while running around in the Disney parks and chose these based on other customer reviews. I have to say that out of the box, they are very comfortable and sturdy. I haven't yet worn them for the typical 6-mile plus walking I normally do in the Disney parks, but I have been wearing them around the house for several hours a day and actually forget that I'm not in my typical flip flops. Support is good and the shoes look like it's going to take a long time to wear them out. Break-in period so far has been nil. I guess my only hesitation on the shoes is that they are a little bulky and not what I would call pretty, but they should do the trick nicely. I have slender feet and normally wear a 7-1/2, and these fit perfectly. There are adjustable straps to use if you need them, but so far I haven't adjusted them. Overall this was a great buy, especially at the price.

I liked these enough in the Finley Black that I have ordered another pair for my mother. The look and style is one that will last for several seasons and other than the strap getting a little finicky around the ankle when you loosen it I would recommend these. I have a wide foot and very high arches and I can wear these with style, comfort have no discomfort at the end of the day.

LOVE THIS SHOE! But...as others have commented, the heel strap is just too loose; also one needs to tighten to the max the over-the-toe-and-instep straps, as they are seemingly designed for a very wide foot. Also on this particular left sandal the strip of leather that runs perpendicular to the straps is sewed on at angle rather than being straight (a quality issue). So I will try with another of the same and hopefully the leather strip will be correct (because they are super-cute and comfy for tramping around cobblestone streets in Portugal and Spain!).

My issue w the allegria is the Velcro. Overtime, it wears down and pops off w movement. This happened after one year of wear. They are also shamelessly ugly but I put comfort first for my screaming doggies.

I liked these sandals. They are very cute. I wear a 7.5 and the 37 fit. However, some of the leather strap edges rubbed my skin and my feet were not entirely steady in them. For that reason, I returned them. After 5 returns of various Alegrias to Zappos, I now have 4 pairs in 3 styles, and they FIT! I wear 37 in the Caiti, Seville, and sandal styles. I wear 38 in the Paloma. I love all of them. I am waiting for the Hippie Chic design to come back in my size and I will order another pair.

The color of the shoe was great and the overall fit was accurate. I wear a 7.5 and I ordered a 37. I returned them because my right foot wobbled in them. I recently broke that foot and felt some pain. The Seville style, mule, offers more support for my feet. I am ordering another pair of them!

I really wanted to keep these sandals, but they are too wide for my heel and I cannot tighten the ankle strap tight enough. a lovely looking sandal that felt good, except for the fit. It would be a great color for any color outfit. I wish it fit ! I will be returning this pair and hope to find another Alegria sandal with a heel and ankle strap that fits. my narrow foot.

Edges of a couple of the straps were sharp. Hard to tell if that would wear off with use. So I returned them. Overall, these are comfortable, but pronation support was not enough for me because I already have knee pain and need pronation support.

I have a pair of alegrias and find them very comfortable and supportive. This particular styles footbed felt great but the straps bothered my feet so I am returning them. I have been having a lot of foot problems and have very sensitive feet. Still on the hunt for the shoe that I can walk in for several hours. Overall really like alegrias.

I love Alegria shoes, and Kleo is one of my favorites. It has the deeper sole that makes it less flexible, which my feet seem to like. They also offer enough arch support for me. I have been going thru a lot of sandals trying to find a new pr, and finally gave in and ordered another Kleo as I know it fits and is most comfortable. I ended up sending these back as they were a little too "glam", for this person. I don't care for any of the colors they have this year.... so disappointing. They should always have some basic colors for those of us who don't want a lot of bling. I love the Verona, and have several pair, but don't find them as firm, as the sole is not as deep. I wear a sz 40 in all of the Alegria sandals and most of the shoes. They are just a perfect fit for my foot. I will continue the sandal hunt... hard to believe that there are not many that are comfortable on my foot.

At first these felt a little sharp and scratchy at points where the straps are on the side of my foot, but I was able to adjust them and the velcro actually stuck and now they are more comfortable. The foot bed is very comfortable and I got these because I injured the ball of my left foot so I need a forgiving yet supportive foot bed (which is what Alegria is known for like Wolky). They are true to size: I wear a 7/7.5 with one foot longer than the other. These are 37 and the other Alegrias I have tried were also 37 so their sizing seems to be consistent (not all brands are). I have tried a number of Alegria in efforts to find one style that actually works for me since I have heard from so many (like nurses) that they are great for those who are on their feet a lot. And although I am not on my feet all day, I want my shoes to be comfortable and supportive for me to walk at least a mile in them without pain or drama. Finally a pair that seems to fit and be comfortable. If I had to suggest one improvement it would be softer leather in the upper (straps on sides and top of foot). And I love the colors. It is cool to have abalone that doesn't kill sea otters. Smile.

These sandals are the best!! I originally bought size 39 (I have the Alegria Julie in a 39), but ended up with a 37 in the Kleo. The only issue I have is with the ankle strap. I just can't seem to tighten it enough. I think it needs a longer velcro strip so it's more adjustable, something for the shoe repair shop I guess. Minus one star because of that. I have hallux rigidus in both big toes. I have worn these about 20 times and am pain free at the end of the day. They are much more comfortable than the other Alegria sandals I mentioned above, probably due to the rocker sole.

These shoes are so cute and felt so comfortable on my feet! But...the ankle strap fit very loose on my ankles and I couldn't tighten the Velcro enough to make it work for me. Darn it!
